Rate this book
SYNOPSIS 1 Trapped in a living hell, SASHA dreams of being rescued by a rich, handsome man who’ll whisk her away from her daily nightmare. Honestly, she never believed that dream would come true because not much of anything good has ever come her way. But then, along comes QUAMAE, an irresistible drug dealer who has the game on lock. Sasha can’t believe her good fortunes when Quamae falls head over heels in love with her and wants to make her his bride. Sasha is swept off of her feet by Quamae’s intoxicating addiction to her and soon their love is an inferno. But Sasha is keeping secrets that will ultimately force her to commit the ultimate betrayal. When circumstances test the strength of their vows, will Quamae’s love prove to be unconditional or will the truth destroy their bond and cause him to punish her in a way that he usually reserves for his enemies in the streets? With so much hanging in the balance, Sasha will learn that being the BRIDE OF A HUSTLER can bring joy and pain. SYNOPSIS 2 After SASHA awakens from her coma, she has no recollection of what happened to her, or who tried to kill her. However, BLUE is there to help her regain her memory and pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. He vows that his love is now her protection and he’ll kill anyone if it means keeping her safe. But when two notorious killers are on the hunt for Sasha, will he keep his word and defend her at any cost? Or is the price too much for him to pay? QUAMAE has started a new life with GIGI and he couldn’t be happier. He’s finally about to go legit, until he receives some devastatingly bad news that could land him in prison with a life sentence, which forces him to remain connected in the deadly dope game he’s so desperate to leave. Although Sasha is formerly the BRIDE OF A HUSTLA, one shocking secret between her and Quamae could have them back together, as it can potentially destroy the new lives they’re living. During this hellish journey, friendships are lost, tears are cried and lives are taken. No one will be the same by the time the smoke clears. SYNOPSIS 3 SASHA thinks she has finally found her peace and happiness in the arms of BLUE, who loves her perfectly. But THE BRIDE OF A HUSTLA is about to find out that her husband QUAMAE won't rest until she's his again. With a solid plan in place to destroy Sasha's new found happiness, Quamae sets out to recapture his wife's heart, by any means necessary. Will Sasha betray Blue and go back to the man who hurt her so much? Or will she reject Quamae's attempt to win her back, and force him to show her that he truly meant a certain part of their wedding vows--until death do us apart? Or will Blue's mask finally come off and expose his deceit, leaving poor Sasha only one option AFTER THE PAIN?

Bride of a Hustler

Ok so this book was everything from the 1st to the 3rd. I didn’t dislike any character. They all had some fucked up ways. Wait hold on Carol I didn’t like her because what mother would do that to their daughter. Sasha was a troubled person. She went through so much from a very young age. She was doing what she knew best and that was have sex. Some of the situations she could have avoided but when you know better you do better. Quamae as well. While I don’t condone domestic violence, he didn’t know any better either but as a true man he went to seek help. I hated the way he allowed Gigi to cloud his judgement when it came to his wife but it seems to me he needed validation just as much as Sasha from the opposite sex. Blue, I liked him for the better of the book but I didn’t like who he became. He was a fraud at best because everything he was against when he was the side nigga he turned into when he became Sasha’s main nigga. It was fucked up how in one breathe he didn’t want NJ to disrespect and hit on Jazz but in another was doing the same to his mother. Speaking of NJ, I felt bad for him but god did it and brought his parents back to him and got him out of the game. Although when it came to Jazz he was being a man while sticking and moving but when the block got hot he wanted to abort mission, however, I respected his reason because just like he said they were 15. They were not ready to be parents, Jazz reason for wanting to keep the baby was valid and sad but she was stupid as fuck because a baby wasn’t going to make him love her no more then he already did. Carmen could have been a good friend but she crossed the line no matter what she thought, she should have never taken it there with Blue. Sorry for the loss of India. She was dealt a bad hand, and no I don’t blame none of the girls because Steve was wrong for all of that. Chauncey maaaaan. I guess Karma got him. He was super foul for fucking on Sasha but I don’t think he deserved what happened to him but hey like I said I guess that was his Karma. It would be nice if this book had a part 4 but it’s not needed because in the end we know what happened with everyone. Emani was going to finish school in Michigan, Blue accepted his reality and Sasha wasn’t going to be apart of it besides the baby. Nate, NJ and Jazz we’re doing ok and waiting the arrival of the baby. Chauncey was doing a bid for murdering Monica and was HIV positive. I assumed Ayesha died from the HIV. And my favorites Sasha and Quamae renewed their vowels and stayed married. Great book!

OMG!

This book was all that. It had me in my feelings from the beginning of the book to the end. I could not put it down and Had to keep reading. I even lost sleep trying to find out what was going to happen next. I liked all the characters and the storyline. Sasha had me scared. I thought she was going to lose her life a few times. I would never put up with those beatings. I really liked Nate but I knew in my heart that Sasha and Quake belonged together. Good ending. Destiny, I can't wait to read more books by you. Keep them coming Sis!

Great read

I love this book so much. Great read. It has its up and downs with the characters. Qua & Sasha is meant to be together it's truly sad they had to deal with what they did to finally know where they wanted to be. Blue was a great man to Sasha but I believe she was so confused about who to be with. Chauncey was not a real friend but didn't wish that type of karma on him. Dirty was just caught up in the game. Quint, I felt bad for but the end was great. Nate and Nj so glad they build a father & son relationship

Ending is confusing

So in the beginning I was like ok the story is making sense then the minute Sasha found out she was HIV positive the story wasn’t adding up.Like for one you positive and still sleeping with Blue and Quamere and never once mentioned that you are HIV positive. Next thing you know Sasha pregnant again but whose the father since she slept with Blue and Nate? Blue slept with Emani is she also HIV positive? Is Quamere positive? Then next thing you know she’s on a yacht with Q then they get married.Im sorry to many open storylines for me.

The Characters......

I felt as if I was related to the characters and Quame was my sin. I love his crazy azz. I believe in loyalty on the same level so I was truly a fan of his. Sasha went through hell as a kid and this book had therapy for us all. Blue just worked my damn nerves and Chauncey was a hot mess. This dreams had me laughing so hard. Part 4 would be great. Who's Sasha's baby daddy, Nate? That would be EPIC!!!

So emotional

You know its a great book when it has your emotions all over the place. It kept my attention and i didnt want to put it down. Quemae was a smart guy even though there were several times i wanted to slap him, and few more characters. I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more work by this author.

Just loved this story. For good bad and the ugly, love over came it all. Wow my girl went through some stuff. And her mama was so low down and dirty . Blue surprised me I was hoping they got together. 🙂

Great read

I wasn’t really feeling shasha at first because she slept with Chauncey. Her and quamae were a mess. Blue completely surprised me at the end...I think she should have forgave him. I really thought she was going to end back up with Nate.

Awesome

Sasha had a very hard childhood. Quame made it harder because he didn’t know her story. I love them together . All characters in the book had a past that effected them in the long run. Enjoyed reading this and recommend it.

Sleeping Around

I really enjoyed reading books 1-3 but I was expecting Sasha to have HIV and a give it to her husband and Blue then Blue give it to Emani... that would have saved them right for sleeping around and setting up Chauncey

Great book!

This was an amazing story. It does show us the importance of keeping our vows and to forgive! It wasn't the ending that I wanted though!

I liked this book. Some many emotions ran through my head reading this one, I found myself guessing what was going to happen next and Sasha's ultimate decision would be. I didn't like the fact that I was left with so many questions at the end though.
