Ripclaw had the Wolverine-like skillset in the original series and is just as skilled here. The electricity returns worldwide, though the story doesn't focus on world events. The armageddon-level event hasn't yet been averted. Morgan's team intends to face Cyberdata about it and about what they did to him and his daughter. He needs allies, but only gets more enemies so far.
That was a super fast read and I enjoyed it. Honestly, not much really happens plot-wise. There's no noticeable arc of any kind or conclusion for that matter. It feels more like a setup for a subsequent volume, yet I closed the book and concluded that I liked it. I just find Cyberforce and their universe really cool. I get this sense of a childlike wonder when it comes to the idea of human android hybrids.
I also enjoyed the artwork. I like the more digitized feel of it. The characters look epic and there are many images that would make cool posters.
I think this series got cancelled after the third volume, if I'm not mistaken, which is a shame because I think they were on to something cool.
A a waste of my time and money thinking this issue would be worth reading. It clearly is not AVOID PURCHASE! Maybe I got the wrong issue of the concluding story?
