What the Heck ?

😡 This story left hacked off and angry 😡
A woman who was raised surrounded with love and care,but some how doesn’t know how to deal. Wastes most of her life running from life hurting herself and others with her selfishness. Stumbles along thru life never really seeing what she should. Drowning herself in sex and drugs and cheap thrills.
Finally sees her mate. Pushes him away, yet again.
Soo he goes off and at the end of story and has sex with another woman. Then he starts dating her and is practically living with her, when dumb A Brigitte finally uses her one and only lonely little clue stick to go and find him.
How in Hades is it a beautiful “love story” like the other reviewers infer when the h takes the entire book to get a freakin clue and go after her man and said man is happily F’ing another woman ?

How is that good or beautiful or what ? Sure Bura had put up w/a lot and then some ,sure.
But is she’s “really his mate” I don’t want to read about him happily having sex w / another woman. It’s disgusting to read about her going down on him and how much he’s enjoying it.
It’s CHEATING for me ! I don’t care if he’s using the woman who now has his balls in her mouth to get over his “so-called mate”. It’s cheating !
Not that I think Brigitte is any sorta prize,but you picked her buddy and you kill my sympathy by going w/the h’s brother to party and he “helps” you find a new woman to F.
Seriously?!?!?!
Brigitte’s brother Eras helps Bura find a new F buddy after Brigitte’s continued cluelessness and is later praised by his mate Cari for playing “matchmaker” ?
WTH ?!?!?
At the very end you have Brigitte coming in on Bura about to have dinner w/his new love interest and F buddy,who’s turning his place into their little love nest, Brigitte freezes Bura,then compels girlfriend to tell her about their relationship. GF tells her , Brigitte sends her home ,they fight then F ( though he calls it making love)( who cares I’m too disgusted to care) ,they say they love each other . The End
What kinda love story is this ?
Now while so called “romances” where the MC’s getting together or getting a clue is drug out thru the entire length of the book is a pet peeve , a pet I desperately want to euthanize,I could have over looked it.
“If” and do mean “if” Bura could have kept it in his pants. If he’d only thought about another woman ,or considered another woman ,or maybe had only started to date another woman.
But the moment they parted ways he was crawling into another woman’s bed. Was it an easy decision? Maybe not.
But he didn’t need sex to move on. He’d been supposedly pining over her for what almost a century ?
He didn’t need to jump into another woman’s bed then stay there .

Then she comes along, politely compels her home,the fight then F, The End.
How is that good ?

I’ve been reading these books from the beginning,took and break and carried on. But this ? WTH is this ?

Best vampire series ever
What can I say, lots of love ,action with these first bloods . I never get bored with these vampire I'm reading and thinking that I'm a part of this strong loving vampire family. Can't wait for the next book please don't wait long.

So far my least favorite out of the series q

Another 5 star book in this series. It was great getting to know Bura. And hopefully he is finally the one that Brigitte will settle down with and have the true love and happiness she has been searching for. It was right in front of her all along. Everyone knew but her. I look forward to reading about there relationship in future books.
