A great read that provides lots of action, and thoughtful insight as well, into strange realms that are sometimes best left unexplored." Paul Kemprecos, author of Cool Blue Tomb and the NUMA Files

High Octane adventure!

Great adventure, a little predictable but still great fun. I'll read the next series soon and the Jade Ihara spin off sounds promising.

First time I read this author. Creative ideas. In each story the characters became more in sync with each other. Didn't like the violence with ugly creatures but the heroes overcame.

I really enjoyed this collection. The characters are very likeable and the chemistry between the two lead characters, Maddock and Bones, is extremely cool. It's obvious they have one of those unbreakable bonds that we all wish we could have with someone. They've been through so much together, and they go through lots more in these exciting adventures.
The stories are well crafted and there's a lot to keep your interest all the way along. They are fast paced with lots of twists and turns along the way. The stories definitely reminds me of the Indiana Jones movies, but with some interesting differences. I would recommend this collection. A very fun read!
I've already bought the next book in the series. Looking forward to reading it!

So So Read

If I didn't know better, I would think this was written by Cleve Cussler. I thought the series was just so-so.
