Rate this book
When a neo-conservative TV personality and former black power activist Elijah Claymore is accused of raping a white girl, America is bitterly divided. Karen Mead, an attractive statistician and jury selection expert is pressured by her superiors into joining the defence table – largely for cosmetic effect. This strains her lesbian relationship with her black lover, Gene Vance, who works at a rape crisis centre.

However, when Karen discovers that the jury selection software and DNA database have been tampered with, she finds herself hounded by a computer hacker who sends her increasingly threatening messages and manages to stay one step ahead of her at every turn.
