I purchased this book quite some time ago, and only read two chapters about first language acquisition. Only recently I completed all the chapters. Although not the most remarkable short book about this academic field, it fulfills its purpose as a straightforward, and very brief introduction. I recommend it to readers seeking a brief overview of the subject matter and an exploration of relevant experiments. However, readers without a background in psychology may find it bothersome and lengthy to read through
The best part of the book though is the last two chapters about problem-solving and decision-making. Perhaps my particular interest regarding these las two chapters stems from writing my MA thesis on language and moral decision-making recently. I have always been intrigued by the intricacies of decision-making behavior.
