The second book in USA Today Bestselling Author's fan favorite erotic romance series, Subscribe, Live, Love.

Parker made it through the first couple of months in the Rinslet Streaming competition, but he’s got several more elimination rounds to survive, to make it to the final round. He’s not complaining about the rush of a new city every few days, though. Especially when he’s spending it with Fiona, riding the high of a new relationship.

Even better, the sex is good. Really good.

Okay, so she’s pursuing a new contract, and that ties up a lot of her time. No big deal, as long as he gets to see her after hours.

And there’s the fact she still holds a torch for Wyatt—the asshole who was willing to sacrifice her career for his own. Oh, and who also happens to be in almost every city they visit, since he works for the company Fiona is pitching.

But Parker knows Fiona is his. He’s okay with her exploring, especially when he’s a part of it. As long as they remember Wyatt was willing to sell them out before, and Wyatt and Fiona don’t get caught, and none of it costs Fiona her company, or Parker his contest chances.

Most important of all, no one had better fall in love with someone new.

"Allyson Lindt's Red Hunted is the first book in a duet. I love it! Parker is hot and Wyatt is hotter! Mmmm. The story line is great, a real page-turner. I was consumed by the story. I can't wait to read #2...I am literally clamoring for #2!" - Danielle, Goodreads

Author's Note: Red Consumed is a Ménage Romance with some sexy MM action mixed in. It is Book 2 in a duet. Book 1 is Red Hunted. The fairytales will continue with Sleeping Beauty's duo, Beauty Claimed and Beauty Awakened

A 3.5. Even though Wyatt's secret from the first book is out, Lindt incredibly dials up the tension for Fiona, Parker and Wyatt to succeed both professional and romantically. She never misses an emotional beat, even if the resolution of the plot itself stretches credibility.

We pick up after Red Hunted with Wyatt's deception out in the open, and yet there's another opportunity for him to make something happen with Parker and Fiona: Fiona's working on a new, potentially game-changing contract with Wyatt's company. This time his approach is above-board. Nonetheless she's keeping him at a distance, because she's still got those feelings - turns out Parker does too. The three eventually agree to pick up a sex-only type arrangement, but someone's got it in for these three from the outside - a series of bombings follow them wherever they go, and eventually, due to his past, Wyatt becomes a suspect. Wyatt, Fiona and Parker are all under stress - will their relationship (and jobs!) survive?

I could not believe how intense the stakes got for these three in this book! Sh*t gets real, ya'll. I guess that's to be expected when we're dealing with stalkers, bombings, and the cutthroat world of corporate contracts, start-up businesses and YouTube video competitions (lol?). Lots of romance/erotica writers use the professional world as window dressing for the love story, but that's never been Lindt's move. Still, in this more than her other books, I really felt invested in each character's professional life, particularly for Parker and Fiona. Will Parker keep advancing in this YouTube competition? Will Fiona's start-up survive despite the blowback from her participation in Parker's videos? I genuinely felt the pressure.

This focus on the professional world is both a strength and a weakness: it offers real texture, but means that most of the challenges that appear for Fiona, Parker and Wyatt are from the outside and not from interpersonal dynamics. This includes the plotline around the bombings and reappearance of a suspected stalker. Lindt puts Fiona in danger AGAIN, which, really?? The most effective outside challenge actually happens to Wyatt ; unlike in many erotica books, I was truly concerned for him.

For me, the resolution of these complicated outside plot elements was weak, and thus the path to the resolution of Wyatt, Fiona and Parker's relationship was kinda weak as well. I really would have liked to see more direct interaction between the three of them. But I will still take Lindt's storytelling over so many other erotica writers out there. Even when the plot elements are somewhat preposterous, she keeps the dialogue and character interactions super real and believable (even when they aren't as much of a focus as I'd like).

As the story resumes, we find Fiona and Parker dealing with the personal and financial aftermath of Wyatt’s deception. Unwilling and unable to move beyond his obsession with Fiona, Wyatt reaches out after his company shows an interest in her work. How will each react when it becomes apparent that the sparks of their former connection still smoulder? Assuming that Wyatt can be forgiven, are they willing to risk their careers and reputations for further self-discovery? This is a well written romantic suspense with well-defined and engaging characters. I enjoyed the banter and the emotional push and pull between the characters. The storyline is compelling with plenty of drama, mystery and intrigue plus a few twists I hadn’t anticipated. There are also several super-steamy M/F and ménage encounters along with some M/M action. I’m looking forward to the next story in this series – Beauty Claimed, featuring Fiona’s brother Nick.

*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*

This was a ménage that was fun to read but it lacked the inner dialogues that could have made it perfect. I didn’t feel very connected to the characters because of that.

No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
The storyline is good and kept me reading despite lack of connection to the characters
Sweet and hot love scenes.

I did enjoy this conclusion to the ménage story.
This is the second part of a duet and I recommend reading the first before starting on this.

Allyson Lindt's "Red Consumed" is the second book in a duet. Even sexier sexy than #1! Get your vibrators charged up and ready! I love all of the plot twists...I couldn't tell whodunnit before the big reveal. I need a Parker & Wyatt sandwich! I can't wait to read Nick's story (which is coming in a new duet).

For the last year, I have been books outside of my usual genres. Until recently, I had a bias (based on assumptions) against this type of book. This duet dispelled some of that - it was engaging and entertaining. It had character development, suspense, and twists. There was an actual plot - it wasn't all about the physical element of the story.

This book just didn't move me. It felt like Lindt was a one trick pony and I know that's not the case. If I hadn't read any other books of hers I would not continue on.

Allyson, I’m addicted

Totally got excited when the other series characters got involved towards the end. Kinda sad it didn’t get kinky with my other favorite trio.

Threats Tripled

Why is everyone following Fiona? She loves having Parker by her side and hadn't realized something might be missing until Wyatt pushed his way into their lives. But he screwed them over so why can't she get him out of her head or is it her heart? Can he be trusted or is her entire world about to explode?

Good

This series was good, it was just missing the little extra something to make it great. I wanted to love this story and while some of the scenes were hot, the story itself fell a bit short. I don't feel the need to read anymore of the series.
