About the author

Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen is an award-winning children's book author whose books include Duck Duck Moose, Chicks Run Wild, Pirate Princess, Hampire!, and the forthcoming Orangutangled. She visits schools around the country to talk about the craft of writing to children of all ages. First, the author dedicated the book to Kelly Clarkson and referenced her a lot throughout the book, which right there made me love the book. It was such a cute book, had good morals, and taught a lot about music. My 5 year old loved it!

Appropriate for: all ages!

My 4 year old daughter loves purrmaids. I liked the lesson this one taught about how friends are more important than things like winning a competition. I only wish the books had more pictures.
