It does the job of a prequel, gives a little background to the main story and also leave you with a little cliffhanger to get you interested in the main event.

This short story made me want to read the rest of this series.

Intriguing novella that made me want to read the rest of the series. I like the relationship of the main character and her sister and am interested in what happens next.
