Nicole was born and raised in California. She claims to be a San Francisco native, however she's lived in both Northern and Southern California. She credits her creativity to the fact that she attended 12 schools between kindergarten and her senior year in high school. Her nomadic childhood allowed her to reinvent herself often. She’s done it again folks! I fell in love with the first two books of the series and fell in love with the third. I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. A whole new legacy, a whole new group of kids who think they can change the pack and a whole new set of trials.
The writing is flawless, the banter is witty and the characters are just as lovable (and hate-able) as we have come to expect from Nicole! Now fingers crossed we get more from one of my favorite authors! A must read!

Also, side note: love the shade being thrown:
“Lauren is naturally volatile, and its magnified in wolf form.” 😂😂

I read the other two books in the series a while back, they were so good. At the time book three wasn’t out yet when I purchased the others, in fact I think if I remember right when I met the Nicole at a book signing she asked what color the third book should be and guess what color I picked. I really liked that you got to see Kalysia’s daughter in this one. I don’t want to say too much and give it away. It was definitely a change from the other two books, not in writing style but in the way the story unfolded. It was still very much complicated. Alright, more so complicated but it was interesting and kept me reading for basically the whole day. I read the first two chapters one day and then life happened. When I picked up the book today, I just sat there all day reading and read the rest of the book. I’d recommend reading this book series, I loved it. It will keep you entertained and wanting to read more. I won't spoil the surprises in book three. Enjoy.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd like this book. Not because the writing sucked or the story was bad. I'm not a fan of time jumps. Book 3 in the Lunam series is set 18 years in the future.
***SPOILERS***
The story is about the children born in the Lunam Deception. All your fave people from the first two books are now parents! After reading the first chapter I realized I was wrong. The new cast is just as funny, sexy, and loveable as the first. Mainly, I loved this book because of the twist.
The kids have no clue they are wolves. The camp their parents lived in is now a summer camp. You get all the typical camp scenes - bonfires, kissing in the woods, sexy lakeside chats.
This reads as a YA, but it's just as good as the first two, in my opinion.
The relationship between Abbi and Kalysia is so real and honest. Abbi is fighting for her independence while her mother is trying to hold on for as long as she can. The evolution of their relationship is one of my favorite things. The triangle in this story isn't between Abbi and two men, it's whether Abbi will continue to let her mother control her life, or choose her own path. When you are the blood of a trueborn running through your veins, which do you think she chooses?
I can't forget to mention Jay. Who happens to the son of Dillan. Yes, Kalysia's daughter and Dillan's son. That alone is worth 5 stars!

Overall I loved this series it was my first paranormal romance. My only complaint is that the ending of book 2 was tied up so nicely and this one left a lot of plots open. Maybe it’s because she intends to write a 4th book, but as it stands the ending just felt rushed. What happened with Lauren in the end? Is Lowell alive? What became of the people that weren’t set to phase? Just a lot more questions than answers. I also caught a TON of errors in this book, repeats sentences, typos, etc. I know indie novels have slightly less support at times and this is an issue that may come with that. Mostly, I’ve been happy with Nicole’s work and books.
