A tiny kitten named Mouse meows so much that her people are always telling her to hush. Only Little Liz appreciates Mouse, because nobody really pays attention to what she has to say, either. Together, Little Liz and Mouse prevent a crime, and prove that even though they're small, they're worth being listened to!
Becky Benishek has a B.A. degree in English and is the author of several children's books, including What's At the End of Your Nose?, The Squeezor is Coming!, Dr. Guinea Pig George, and Hush, Mouse!. "Hush, Mouse" is an adorable story about a small, big-eared cat who no one sees, and his special connection with a large-eyed little girl who no one hears. These two are perfect for each other and soon find that their unique traits are just what is needed to make big difference.
My kids and I loved this story. The pacing and flow were perfect, not to mention the adorable illustrations! This story promotes celebrating differences and understanding that we are are special in our own way. "Hush, Mouse" is a must have for every child's personal library!
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
