In the city life is tough. In the aftermath of the global recession, the rich are richer, the poor even poorer. People are desperate to get ahead of the rest. That's the case for Mark, a young broker determined to climb the corporate ladder at all costs. He thinks he has it all, the money, the women, great prospects. However it is his fierce cocaine addiction that is keeping him at the top.

For some it is a struggle to simply survive. Karen has no prospects, no dreams. She only wants a way to make her pain disappear. For others like Jimmy they are consumed by a life of unemployment and boredom as they struggle to take the first step into a world of harsh responsibility.

These three individuals have embarked on a journey of hard addiction. What seemed like a bit of harmless escapism at first will soon lead them from the bright lights of the city, down a dark path into the underbelly of London, as their lives slowly start to spiral out of control.
