This was fun, but it is really annoying to come across tidbits of incorrect astrological information, even in a book designed to be a bit of spiritual candy.
I thought this was an awesome overview pocket guide! This was probably the first astrology “intro” book that hasn’t noted me to tears (coming from someone who reads a ton of astrology). The chapters are short and sweet, it gives you a lot to reflect on, and the writing is witty. I loved it!
I enjoyed reading about Scorpio made understand them a bit more now. I'm afraid I have to disagree with everything, but it gives me an idea of how to communicate with them. One thing we can learn about Scorpio is that they are loyal and trustworthy. You can trust them with your secret and never reveal your secret to anyone, plus their love is genuine you can never question is about it.
This was a nice introductory book as it relates to the Scorpio zodiac. It was a quick read with general insights that gave you a general/surface understanding of the zodiac. If you want more in-depth analysis, other books dive deeper into the zodiac. However, for just a quick overview, this book is good. I'll be reading through the other zodiacs as the books are fairly easy to get through a day's reading.
A great introductory book for your sign. Briefly mentions other key terms such as houses, star sign, moon sign, but doesn't go into much detail to help you figure out your specifics. Also doesn't have resources you can pursue if you're still interested in finding more out about your sign, which I would have appreciated.
I’ll probably read this every Scorpio season because reading it this time made me reminisce about how much I’ve changed over the years; some parts of my Scorpio side have come already, others are here now, and I think maybe the parts in the book I didn’t resonate with just haven’t had their season in my life yet.
This book basically scratches the surface to your star sign and contained a lot of information that I already knew from the power of the internet. I recommend these books if you want it all in one place and want to know basic traits about yourself and your relevant star signs (sun, moon & rising). I have only read my star sign book, but will be buying my moon and rising books soon, as I know less about them and may help me understand myself a little more. I did feel like there was information in there that I wanted to understand the deeper meaning behind, and some bits I wasn’t too interested in, like celebrity star signs (my personal preference).
I related a hell of a lot to the information within this book. However, that could be because Scorpio is not only my Sun Sign but my Moon, Mercury, and Venus. Perfect for people who just want to learn about themselves, or a typical Scorpio. Highly recommend.
Well written book. Not too complicated, just right. A quick read for me when I need to balance and come back if I've strayed too far to the dark side. Also, a good book for someone who needs to understand a Scorpio.
4* Yep, still obsessed with astrology. My life/personality/behavior makes so much more sense to me since I found out my moon AND rising signs are in Scorpio.
