This is the second instalment in this exciting series and we are plunged right back into the action almost from the beginning here.
This time around we are in the States after Tristan sent Isobel off there to safety; not to worry; it's not long before he's hot on her heels as Isobel seems to suffer from a little thing called; NOT FOLLOWING ORDERS!!!
Considering he's the killer and shes out of her comfort zone I would think she would show a bit more wit if she wants to stay alive; it's common sense 101 really.
So I rated this and the previous novella the same; but in my opinion, this one has the slight edge for me; I just felt much more of a connection between Isobel and Tristen and I also felt that there was much more going on here in terms of mystery and intrigue to keep my attention.
Tristan is a whole lot warmer this time around as he slowly starts to regain fragments of his past.
This really was a short but packed volume and I really appreciated the finale and its potential for growth.
The only downside for me here is that I'm not a great fan of serial novella's.
I feel they are too short to hook and invest me in the drama.
I can count on one hand the number of these types of fiction I've rated highly, luckily "The Red Ledger" series is one of the better novella serials I've experienced; it certainly was packed throughout despite being bitesize.
I'm very intrigued to see where this will go next.
A fab little read.

If you thought the first part of this story had you frantically turning pages, think again. Tristan Stone is back, and he's even more delicious and bad-ass than before--exactly the way I crave my heroes. Just think what would happen if Jason Bourne and The Driver had a kid, then tossed in a bit of The Accountant just for good measure...now you're getting the idea of just how epic this man is. Isabel is the perfect match for the man too: strong but not stupid about it, but willing to push past her comfort zones to save the sanity of the man she's loved for years. In short, she's the best friend you always want in your corner when things get rough--and in this book, the "rough" takes place in one of the twistiest plots I've ever read! In short, an absolutely EPIC read. So many stars!!

As the second instalment of The Red Ledger series, it was a bit more intense than the first. Tristan is open to finding out more of his past, he’s let go of killing Isabel and protecting her instead, and the connection between them only grows stronger as each chapter bleeds into the next. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to continuing the story with book 3. However, I honestly can’t stand Isabel. I’m hoping this will change in the near future. It’s just that she couldn’t be for real. Seriously?

The second installment of The Red Ledger picks up right where the first one left off. Isabel is back home in Washington DC still reeling from the events of the first part of the story. She is confused, she is missing Tristan, and she is just trying to make sense of what in the world is going on. Tristan is continuing to try to put the pieces of his past back together, all while trying to make sense of everything that he is learning about himself, about Isabel, and about what they shared together.
This second part of their story together continues their adrenaline pumping story, it continues all of the intensity from the first part of the series, and it will have you on your toes through every single page waiting to see what will happen next. In this story both Tristan and Isabel are faced with the reality of the situation they are in. He must realize what this all means, what his crashing past and present really means for his future and for Isabel's future, and he has to simultaneously figure out how he's going to get them out of the situation they're in. Isabel on the other hand must come to terms with what this means for her life, with what she will and will not believe, and how far she is willing to go to save the man that she once and still does love.
This second part was everything I needed and more with Tristan and Isabel. Their story is one of the most addicting, intense, and consuming stories I have EVER read!! I loved every part of this story, and I am dying for more of them!!!
From the moment I started this part of their story, I could not put this book down. I was once again consumed within every twist and turn, with every shocking moment, and I loved all of the new dynamics and characters and storylines that were introduced in this part. Meredith Wild is setting up what I know will be an incredible an exceptional series (because it already is that and more!) and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for these characters. So many of the moments with these characters took my breath away, squeezed my heart, had me on the edge of my seat, and shocked me to my core. I loved it. I loved that I never knew what that next page would bring, I loved that I never knew what would happen next for these characters, and I loved that I was so consumed within it at all.
Meredith Wild has upped the ante in this second part, and she is laying more and more of the groundwork for what I know will be one of my favorite series ever. Her words, what she creates with them, and what she brings to life through every heart pounding and adrenaline spiking moment of this book is something I know I'll never forget!
If you enjoyed the first installment of the series, you will love this one even more. You will love how it surprises you, you will love how it shocks you, you will love how you get more of Tristan and Isabel to love and root for and believe in, and you will love every single moment you get these characters.
I loved every word of this book. I loved what I got with these characters, I love how it entranced me even more within everything they were sharing and everything that was happening around them, and I loved getting to be there right along with them in all the action. Meredith Wild brought everything in credible word of this book to life, and I truly can't tell you enough how exceptional it was to experience that!!! This second installment was everything I needed and more, and I cannot wait for the third one!!!

If you thought Meredith catches your attention in Red Ledger 1, wait until you get more of Tristan and Isabel in Red Ledger 2. Honestly, I don’t know how she does it. The way Meredith captures your attention with her words is pure magic. This series is already gearing up to be one of my favorites this year. You will need to devote your time and attention to this captivating couple with multiple books, but trust me when I say you will love every moment of it. It’s the kind of story that has you thinking about the characters long after you’ve finished reading….wanting more of course! I’m an addict to this story and Meredith is my supplier!
While every turn of the page gives us answers to the mystery Tristan and Isabel are trying to unravel, there are still pieces of the unknown we’ve yet to discover. Every moment of their journey is exciting, you never know what’s going to happen next. Meredith gives us a roller coaster of a ride that I’m sure will continue until the very end. It’s steamy, sexy and intriguing all in the same breath.
Tristan and Isabel continue to wade through the murky waters of their relationship. It’s not clear what they mean to one another, but the intense heat and attraction between them intensifies with each moment they’re together. Tristan continues to be drawn to Isabel, feeling protective of her in a way that consumes his thoughts and clouds his judgement. He is still sexy, dark and broody, but we slowly see a sensitive side of him that Isabel once knew. The twists and turns keep coming, no doubt Meredith will keep us entranced in this world until the very end!

In Part 2, we are learning more about who Tristan was before he became a killer for hire. He is trying to retrace his past, but at the same time, debates on whether he really needs to know anything since the last 3 years he's been fine with not knowing anything.
Isabel is determined to take control of her life and figure out where she fits into everything. She wants to help Tristan where she can, but she also knows that he isn't going to tell her everything. Leaving her with the only option of finding things on her own.
Part 2 is just as captivating and intriguing as the first. It's fast-paced, delivers that right amount of information to give us some answers, but also gives us new questions. You can't trust anyone and Meredith does a great job of keeping us guessing as to what is really going on and why.

Oh my! I was not sure that this could get better, but it definitely did. This Series is truly captivating. Be prepared to read this in ONE sitting.. Once you start you will not be able to stop.
This book has all the stops. You definitely find some of the answers you have needed, but are also left with just as many questions.. I LOVE IT. Tristan is just incredible.. I am loving seeing his character grow. The changes are slowly coming.. He is so protective, dark and just incredible. Isabel is probably one of my favorite heroine's to date. She is strong willed, never backs down and will not take no for an answer..

If you thought Tristan and Isabel were a force to be reckoned with in book 1, then wait until you read this one. There are so many WOW moments that it had me sitting on the edge of my seat, bitting my nails every page I turned.
Tristan, still trying to come to terms with learning things he had thought long forgotten.
Isabel, is learning how to become more independent, and take control of her life and that of her future.
As with The Red Ledger 1, book 2, is just as addicting, and you will not want to miss out on reading it.
Meredith, has a way of writing a series that just draws you in from page one. With all the emotion, angst and mystery that unfolds at every turn, The Red Ledger Series proves to be just that kind of series.

We're back with Tristan and Isabel and their adventure, only this time, they're in the States. Strong women are something to behold, but when they go out of their way to go against someone who has experience in killing others and wants to protect you... well, you have to wonder if they're either stupid or think they're indestructible. My opinion about this is out for the time being as i haven't had a chance to read their third instalment of the series.
But i do have to say that i'm glad to know that Tristan is getting his memories little by little, and i can only hope that he'll eventually have them all so we can finally know whether he felt as strongly about Isabel as she does him. Needless to say that Meredith Wild really knows how to write a story that will make you want to stick with it from start to finish.

Guess what people, this book also ends with a cliffhanger and the wait for the third book is longer. Isn't that awesome. The only good thing about this ending is that both, Tristan and Isa, had a choice to do something and in Isa's case she wasn't forced to leave. Yey for having a choice. I don't want my main characters running around because someone forced their hand. I want to see them doing whatever they think is the best thing to do and fight the people who are after Isa.
Thankfully we get some answers as to who is after Isa and is causing all that trouble and why. I hope there is more to that and we might get more clues in the next part. I want to see more intimate scenes with Tristan and Isa and find out what happened to him three years ago. I don't know what surprises the author has in store for us, but I hope they will be huge. It bad that the third part of the story won't be released within a week as this one did. This is the book that will either make you quit the series or keep you coming for more.
I have a little theory and if you don't want to be spoilt stop reading.
Colt (or whatever is the name of the dude who was sleeping with Isa before the events of the series) is somehow related to the pharmaceutical company that's has caused so much trouble and is probably the reason why Isa has a price on her head. I don't think he is an innocent man.

Wow, I don't know where to begin. It just keeps getting better and better. Isabel and Tristan's story is one that grabs you and holds on until the very end. This book is everything and more. I am in love with these two and I know you will be to. I highly recommend these books, you will love their story.

If Red Ledger part 1 was intense, part 2 takes the intensity up several notches. I'm rather obsessed with Tristan and Isabel's story. I love how this takes the idea of a second chance romance and amps up the excitement with tons of suspense, intrigue and plot twists. Part two picks up right where part one ended. Isabel is in Washington, DC. Tristan is desperate to protect her. Isabel being Isabel, she doesn't exactly follow directions and soon, trouble and danger are back in a big way.
My favorite part of this story so far is watching how Tristan, a man who can't remember his past and has a seemingly cold and unfeeling heart, starts thawing out for a woman he shouldn't care about, but cannot turn away from. Isabel also is so compelling. Tristan was her world until he vanished and seeing him again makes her want it all.
The ending has me ready to bite all of my nails off as I await part three. This is shaping up to me one of my favorite summer series reads and I cannot wait to see how it continues to twist and turn with each new part.

I volunteered to read an arc of this story. This is part 2 and you do need to read part 1 first.
I love Tristan "Red Stone more and more as I read this series. This series sucks you in and when you reach the end you so need more. I truly believe this series is Meredith Wilds best work to date. I couldn't put it down for more then a couple minutes before I was back to reading it.
Tristan is an assassin with amnesia, a part of him is looking to know what he has forgotten but a part of him isn't sure he really wants to know. Isabel is the one person who can help him. I love that she is strong but shows some venerability, she is so not a stupid female. The ending of this part left me wanting the next part like right now. This part answers some of the questions you had from part one but it leaves you with so many more.

I absolutely love Meredith Wild and the Red Ledger series. I completely fell for Tristan and Isabel in part one and was SOO hooked on book 2. And OMG the drama did not stop! Tristan and Isabel were sexy and addicting. I loved their chemistry and the fact that their history is still haunting them both.
I loved that the story picked up right where we ended in part one where Tristan and Isabel are now on the run. We got more emotional insight from Tristan about he truly feels which added so much to the story. I also loved how Isabel was a bit more independent in this book and made plans to control her own life. Gah and that ending!!! I seriously can not wait for part 3!! Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

This is another Out of The Park hit for Meredith Wild. This book is beyond amazing. You can't get enough of it - when you are reading it you are soaking in every word because when it ends you are like please not yet, I need more. This book is like crack to a junkie, it leaves you craving it.
Isabella comes back to Washington, DC in this volume. Yes, she still loves Tristan.
Tristan will stop at nothing to keep her safe, even though he is unsure if he wants to unlock his memories.

Felt like repetition of the first book. There is a lot going on but most of it is overshadowed by the romance aspect which I wouldn't mind but there is a good mystery/thriller being eclipsed by the author's preference for romance. No further developments in the plot. We get a few crumbs towards the end. A bit of a plot twist regarding Isabel's family. Nearly all of the time is spend on developing on the dynamics of Tristan and Isabel but they both are still struggling with their issues. Isabell was too stupid and because of her naivety her friend lost her life. I hope we will get some answers about the shady organization Tristan works for and who hired a hit on Isabel.

Part two starts up exactly where part one left off. Isabel arrives in DC and, of course, can’t do what she’s been told. We get introduced to some new characters and left with the WORST cliffhanger, of course.
I am so irritated with Isabel. I mean, I get it. But girl. She needs some sense talked into her thick skull. Tristan is a GOD. What is you doing? You’ll have to read to see what I’m talking about.
Part two is just as suspenseful as part one. Meredith Wild brings action and adventure to whole new level with this duo. The emotions are so real and vivid you feel as if you are journeying along right there beside Tristan and Isabel.
I cannot wait to continue with part three and see how the first half of this series plays out!

I was not taken by this book! I felt that it just kept going over the same thing as part 1, just in a different part of the Country, Washington, D.C. where Isabel's mother and father live.
I do not think I will be reading the other parts to this story! Sorry Meredith Wild but there are just not my cup of tea!

This is the second book of this series. Last we saw Isabel Tristan was putting her on a plane alone. He finally told her what he does for a living. Plus how he found her and why.
I do wish the parts (books) were longer it goes so quickly. Definitely love Tristan Stone and feel bad for him.

I’m left breathless! My heart is beating so hard, the angst, the suspense, the questions all lingering and I’m dying to find out. The Red Ledger - Part Two has me on the edge, craving for more, begging, hanging on every single word. I couldn’t devour this fast enough. This book has me obsessed like an addict.

The Red Ledger #2 by Meredith Wild is Part 2 of a 6 Book Series. This book continues the story of Isabel Foster and Tristan "Red" Stone and should continue throughout the other books. So I would read the previous book first.
This book picks up with Tristan sending her back to the States and what is to happen next in their story.
Isabel is still dealing with finding out Tristan is alive and the man that he has become. Tristan too is dealing with learn some of what Isabel knows of the past he can't remember. Along with his mixed feelings for her that are growing into more. Tristan also goes forward with finding out more from the people that have been controlling his kill spree.
This was another exciting story into their lives....I can't wait for the next installment!

Phenomenal, amazing, and epic. These are the words I think of when I finished this book. This author keeps on surprising me with her incredible writing style. I love suspense in my romance but this series is exceeding my expectations. This is the second book to The Red Ledger series. You have to read the first one before this one or you will be lost. I started this book as soon as I got it and I was glued to my seat. I read this book in only one sitting.
This amazing story begins where the first one left off. Isabel and Tristan are now back in the states. They are trying to find the answers to why this is all happening. Isabel goes to her parents to see if they have any information but they come up empty. She still has very strong feelings for Tristan but she doesn’t know how he feels. Isabel starts to see a more loving side to Tristan but she doesn’t know if it’s because he loves her or he is just trying to protect her. She finds out some information that could help him understand what happened to him all those years ago but will it put them into more danger? Will Tristan and Isabel get the answers they are searching for or will it lead them into more trouble?
This book is phenomenal. They storyline has it all romance, suspense, and mystery. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. Isabel is beautiful with a heart of gold but she has some sass. She is no damsel that’s for sure. Tristan is still dark and moody but he starts to show his real self. He really does care for Isabel and he will do anything to protect her. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your toes curl. This author know how to keep on the edge of your seat. This book has a lot of a twists and turns I didn’t see coming. The ending blew my mind. I’m already counting down the days for the next book.

If you thought part one left you hanging, just wait, Meredith isn't done with you yet.
Picking up where part one left off, Isabel is about to hit US soil with no answers to what is going on. Isabel can't believe she has been given the chance to once again be in Tristan's life but who he is now is not who he was then. Tristan is harder and darker and so full of empty spaces that who knows if she can help him. Tristan is more lost than he was and going back to the place it all started will either job his memory or send him backward.
This book answered very few questions but gives the story more depth and intrigue. We meet a few new faces but you don't know who to trust and who is holding onto information. We are no closer to finding out who is behind all this but at least the characters now have somewhere to go. This series is turning into a thrilling ride. You never know what you are walking into and it is one of those books you just can't put down until you are done. Then when you are done, you are looking for clues about the next book because you need more. Romantic suspense at it's finest and I can't wait for part three.
