Oh, I do love it when the cocky guy gets schooled. Even more so when I get a whopping big case of the feelz midway through when Ty really lets Bear down and actually learns to stop being such an arsehole. And the sex, their connection when it finally happened...was hot.

This kind of reminded me of The Harder They Fall, but way less painful and angsty. But I wish it was longer because I liked these characters. I wanted to see where they went after the pages ran out.

Really great short story. (I read this as part of Bathhouse Confessions: M/M Gay Erotica Bundle.) Ty was so confident and cocky, so he couldn't believe it when Bear essentially ignored him. Only when Ty was willing to submit to Bear did he find the connection he was looking for. Hot and sexy and I wish there was more.

Bear Hunting is the first book in the series Bathhouse Confessions. The main theme of the story which is about what happens in bathhouses has a great appeal in the gay community. Bathhouses have always been the place where men would go to fulfill their wildest desires and fantasies. They are an opportunity to connect with other men for some no strings attached kind of fun. The protagonist in this story is Ty, a young handsome fitness and yoga trainer who is a regular visitor to the bathhouse. He has a famous YouTube channel with over 100K subscribers so he is pretty well known in the bathhouse. During one of his visits, he meets a new bear type man there called Bear. After hearing his friends talking about some magic powers that Bear has, Ty will be determined to hook up with this man no matter how many times he will reject him. The cocky young man will not accept a no for an answer. The book is narrated from Ty's perspective.

Nathan Bay has created the perfect bathhouse atmosphere with two very likable main characters that are both sexy and charming in their own way. Added to this great mix is the act of submission. One man giving up control and surrendering himself to the other one, but this surrender did not come easily. The character needed some time to adjust to his new self. I think the author has written Ty's confession to Bear very beautifully. It felt genuine and the reaction to it by Bear was appropriate and suitable to wrap up the lovemaking scene in the most sensuous way and the story with a happy satisfying ending. Bear Hunting is a wonderful entry to what seems to be a fabulous series about Bathhouses. Highly recommended.

This was a very quick read.
It’s about a young man going to a bath house to find other men for sex. He enjoys all kind of man but never has sex with them more than twice.
One day there is a new man in the bath house called Bear and our mc is very attracted to him. However Bear doesn’t seem to be interested in him.
So this is basically our young mc experiencing a different side to sex and on the way getting more attached to Bear then he got to his former sex partners.
Since this is very short, there is not much to this story. But it’s fine for this kind of story. This was steamy and good, thought nothing outstanding.

This was a short story about submission. Bear teaching Ty the beauty of holding your orgasm letting it flow. Ty was the peacock of the bathhouse but Bear saw something in him and wanted to show him how good he could feel by submitting and give him all his orgasms.

The prose feels somewhat simplistic and never quite ignites the passion it aims for. The pacing is also uneven — the buildup drags on for too long, only for the ending to feel rushed.
