I feel like I'm reading these out of habit now, just because I've read all of the others. I think once I finish this round I'm going to throw in the flag... these are getting terribly repetitive. While I enjoy the template and theme, and overall how well Bella does with a story, I just need something new and different.

This book was short, but good. I am loving the hybrid/tribrid couples' children. I look forward to learning more about their abilities. Speaking of abilities, don't we have a few oracles? Not just Phoenix, Aida, and Serena, but does Vivienne ever have visions anymore? It seems that if there were something threatening to destroy the universe, Eritopia & The Shade included, that they would have visions to help stop it and save eveyone(or at least try to anyway)

I'm so glad that even though communications don't work, that Calliope is able to keep watch over the rescue team. I just hope that thry don't jump the gun next time something goes terribly awry and end up making things worse...I am glad of some of the choices Ben and Rose's team made as well and their quick thinking. There were a few instances where I am sitting here coming up with solutions to their problems and they're writing them off as pointless. Like the blood vials...try blood bags, no need to open them and lose the blood! Drink straight from the bag! It may not work, but it's better to at least try! Also the accelerant. When you send a message back to Calliope, ask for it in another care package! No drilling needed!

As far as Douma is concerned, they could've been smarter about her restraints. She is very powerful, but I guess it turned out good in the end with the whole nature revelation. That could've gone in a whole different and catastrophic direction. The Shade and GASP always come out stonger in the end and always prevail. How will they get Douma to talk? Will Dmitri help with that? Will they become the new Stockholm syndrome romance? I can't wait to find out! I seriously am addicted to this series and find it difficult(nearly impossible really) to put these books down to take care of things in my everyday life. I'm seriously binge reading, as I'm a year behind in this series.

Still going strong after 62 books

I can’t think of another author that can still keep me hooked 62 books into a series!! I still yell NOOOOOO at the end of every book I finish, so impatient for the next one. I have three more days to wait until 63 and it seems like forever!! So now at the end of every new season Im going to ASOV Book 1 and restart with Derek and Sofia just to give her time to finish her latest season so I can devour the whole season in one sitting!
Ms. Forrest always manages to give fresh twists with new and interesting supernaturals all while keeping the old crew involved. I am a little disappointed Mona and Kiev aren’t as involved as the “original” group but I’m hoping for an appearance near the end.
Anyone that loves supernatural mysteries will love these books!

How does she do it?!?!?

Man, how does this author do it?!?!

This book had me all over the place. It’s hard to read while your suppose to be working when the story makes you literally laugh out loud or cheer for the good guys or cry!!!!

Things seem to be getting from bad to worse, but along the ay there is always hope. Our old character from the Shade, And the other planets unite yet again. New creatures turn up and old ones are found. Woah this just keeps getting better.

Although you eventually what will happen, the way it is played out is just brilliant!!!!!

We are in so much trouble!!!... So many perfects are been created every day and they are indestructible!!! 🙈... Can our team really trust Amane and Kallisto???... Bogdana eagerness to go to Strava seems suspicious 🤔... Hope they can recruit more faulties before getting into Ta'zan complex... And what about the romances developing in the mean time ☺️... Hope our three couples really get together and we can see then back home alive and happy with the rest of their people... Ok, moving to the next book, yay!!! 🤗

Bella never fails to keep me addicted and hooked in her world...when i first started this book i was already on the edge of my set from the last one, she didn't fail to keep me flipping pages and losing sleep reading staying up thinking now with the fate of the in between hanging in the balance with GASP on the mission to save it from the Perfects how can i put the book down???? Needless to say i read the entire book in a little over 3 hrs. I wish there was a 10 star button!

Perfect captive 😄

The search for Ridan leads to a new ally who turns out to be very valuable to Ta'zan. An old foe has a change of heart and joins Rose and Ben's group. They also get a care package filled with lots of goodies that help them stand a better chance at survival. Things keep getting interesting and with Draven's new find hopefully Gasp will now have a chance at winning this impending war.

This book was so incredibly intense and riveting! I was clinging to my Kindle. I'm so loving having the new and old characters at my fingertips. I have never hated bad guys as much as these Perfects and Ta'Zan! Bella Forrest knows how to keep us on our toes! I have no idea how they're going to get out of the tangle that they're in!

This is such an in depth book I almost forgot I wasnt there. Bella did such a wonderful job of including all the sights, sounds, smells, and the feel of things I was completely immersed from start to finish. This installment reminded me of Rose and Calobs story and with all the fresh raw love interest blooming I couldn't help but smile. Can't wait to see how we get through this one.

Hooked

I am an ASOV junky! This is a great story. This book is a great fill in some blanks and give just enough background to keep you wanting to read the next book as soon as you finish this one. There is also enough action going on to set the scene for the next book. Of course new attractions and love interest.

The plot is getting old

I do enjoy these books, but they all have the same exact plot. Discover new planet, conflict with new deadly creatures, characters fall in love, fight in big war and the end. It's too much of a good thing at this point. With that being said, I do continue to read each new book so perhaps Ms. Forrest is on to something here.

love that the founders are in need of help and resucue, shows a vulnerable side of them! Ta Zan is written so wonderfully that you absolutely loath the man. By far my favorite series because it shows the Shadians are not superior but with family, friends, love and loyalty you can beat the odds. Can not wait to see how this season ends!

Shade 62
