I have loved all of Terry's dragon books, but I must say that Emerald (Awakened Dragons) is my absolute favorite. I read all of these books as they were published and here are my reviews -
GOLD-
Dante (the Gold Dragon) is used to having everyone fawn over him and when he meets Ella (who doesn't) he is a little put and acts atrociously until his friends give him a little shove. Dante's fall is such a delightful story and his earnestness in securing his mate's affections is fascinating to watch. With Ella hiding a secret fear, it takes all of Dante's new found compassion and caring to help bring her out of her shell and instill some confidence in her. The added intrigue in Ella's home town gives Dante that extra kick in the pants to get him to spring into action. I love that Dante is not just a pretty face but has some unique powers that aid in his quest to protect his mate.
I want to thank the author for giving us an update on Aegis (my absolute favorite dragon - ever) and ask that she give Citrine his mate - he has been waiting sooooo long (he is the last of the Gem dragons from 2 series ago).
SILVER-
Adrien (our silver human hater from the previous metal dragon books) feels lost in this new time that he has woken up to. Tricked by Mercury, (during the Rent-A-Dragon series) he has been collared by the oracle until such a time that he can learn to care for and help protect humans. Floundering and with a true disdain for humans Adrien still goes to the rescue of Kelsey (as no self-respecting dragon would ever allow a woman to come to harm). Kelsey has suffered a lot of hardship in her life but her rescue by Adrien and the dragons' subsequent help, give her a chance to turn her life around. Kelsey's strength to bounce back from whatever fate throws at her and her ability to roll with the punches makes her the perfect match for our Silver dragon. The other dragons seem to know off the bat when they met their mates, Adrien's slow journey to realizing that Kelsey is his mate made for a more intriguing story. Kelsey's no nonsense way of dealing with the problems at the agency helps Adrien view her in a different light.
This story brings new dragon powers and the set up for Citrine's and Sever's stories. I love that the author gave me another Aegis fix (yes! Aegis gets a cameo) and my favorite dragon was again shows his true self!
PLATINUM-
I was really worried about Sever as he was the quiet, contained noble metal dragon. I loved that even though Sever had been tricked and hurt in the past, he wasn't against finding a mate (just not actively doing so) and realizing that he did still have feelings. It was also nice to see Dante's continued development from condescending, arrogant a$$hat (during the Rent-A-Dragon series) to caring and devoted friend/leader.
The author has once again given us a story that is unique and with a surprising twist that you will never see coming. I really enjoy how she ties her series together. Now I will have to sit back and wait for the last awakened dragon (Gem dragon), Citrine's, story.
CITRINE -
I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars.
Citrine is the last gemstone dragon and his story was well worth the wait (even though Aegis/Emerald is my all time favorite dragon and he does get an honorable mention in this book😁). Citrine has always been the level-headed dragon throughout the last three dragon series (Gem, Rent-a-Dragon, and Date-a-Dragon) and definitely more of a pacifist and now that the author has revealed his true power, it is totally understandable. Citrine's alpha personality is tempered by what he is and it makes him the most understanding and caring of the recent dragons. Robbie, being a rare alpha female wolf-shifter, takes her responsibilities to the point of self sacrfice.
I was so excited to get this book that I read it straight through and didn't stop. Even with as many dragon books as the author has written, she always tells a unique story. There is plenty of action, as Citrine faces off against Robbie's obnoxious finance's pack (and as Citrine and Robbie take their physical attraction to the foregone conclusion). I loved how the author introduced the new set of dragons and revealed the truth about Mercury (I have hopes that Mercury may be swayed to the Oracle's side even though he doesn't seem to have the redeeming qualities that Aegis had).
I will drop everything when this author puts out a new dragon book and I have never been disappointed. Hunky dragons, fantastic powers, and strong women make for some awesome "me time" reading.

Dante was used to women admiring him and being in awe of him but he was shocked when Ella walked into his life and treated him with a bit of distain. He, Dante was handsome, rich and a great warrior, how could a woman not admire him!
Ella was determined to show that Dante had no power over her and so treated him with a cool attitude. Though she secretly wanted him to kiss and cuddle with her she would not fall for him.
Silver
Adrien was disgusted by human behavior and was determined not to find any woman whom he might be a Mate to. However; Kelsey came into his life one stormy night and everything changed for the better. Adrien wanted to help Kelsey in anyway he could to show her what a fine Mate he would be and how protective he would be too.
Kelsey was tired of being run out of places that were supposed to be her refuge. All because men wanted something from her that she felt she didn’t have to give them. Then she met Adrien and her life changed for the better even if she thought it was all a hoax. Can Kelsey find it within herself to trust again? Will Adrien be able to get Kelsey the help she truly needs?
Platinum
Sever was concerned that he would never find his true Mate because he had been fooled before and he couldn’t trust his own heart. Then one day a letter came asking for help and he just knew he had to help Lori with whatever she needed.
Lori was trying to take care of a friend’s child and his ranch all the while trying to stop some men from harassing her but she couldn’t do it alone. She wrote a letter and had Sever come help her with her problems and ended up getting more than she bargained for.
Citrine
Citrine was always in control of his emotions and controlled everything about his life. He was afraid that his power would harm more than help people so he controlled everything about himself. Citrine controlled so much that his Mate didn’t know that he loved her and she left.
Robbie had left because she had obligations in her home town that she thought she couldn’t get out of. That was until Citrine came after her and made her aware that there was more to life than obligations. Now if they could only find the right path to each other and then all would fall into place.

this was a modern day shifter book series about dragons who awaken in the present time after being a lot for a long time.
Book one is the gold metal dragon which is about Dante and Ella
book two is the silver metal dragon which is about Adrien and Kelsey
Book three is the platinum metal dragon which is about Sever and Lori
Book four is the gemstone dragon the most powerful is about Citrine and Robbie
Each book the Women are in some sort of trouble and their dragon comes to save them and in the process they fall in love
Dante is hired to spend a work with Ella to attend her sisters wedding and to his surprise it was not the loving family he hoped to find instead he finds a family that doesn't seem very highly of her and worst he finds she is being bullied by a cat shifter
the next book Adrien finds Kelsey sitting in a sleeping bag up against his door and shows her out when he goes back in he watches her out of the window to get her laying down outside in an alley when some men show up to attach her he goes out to help her. She ends up with a job at the club which puts her in more danger when a dragon with vengeance against Adrien puts Kelsey in danger he needs to protect her and save his friend Sever from beginning killed
The next book Lori hires Sever to pretend to be her husband after having issues with the town folk. When Sever arrives he doesn't know what the danger is till he learns the town is all cat shifters and they want Lori and her adoptive son off their land and Sever needs to get her to leave in order to protect her but when Taylor is missing they believed he was taken but to find he ran away only to discover the child is a lion shifter and again Sever needs to protect his mate and the child who he now considers his family
The next book Citrine discovers Robbie is his mate and when she suddenly leaves he goes looking for her only to discover she is an alfa wolf promised to another. He is not willing to loose her so he does what he has to, to win her and that is challenge her fiancé. Being the most powerful dragon he is able to break his bonds and use his dragon power to defeat the over size wolf.

When she meets Dante he's not like what the reviews say about him. He's kinda rude, but he'll do to help her get through this wedding. They both have secrets to share. Can these two handle each others secret? Second book is called Silver~Kelsey was looking for a safe warm place to sleep, when she stumbles upon this nice building. Sneaking in she was sure no one was there. Oh how wrong she was when adrien hits her with a door. Adrian doesn't want a human mate, but when he rescues her after kicking her out, he's not so sure anymore. Can these two work out? Third book is called Platinum~What do you do when you receive a letter asking for help? In Severs mind something about this woman Lori and a boy she's taking care of is calling to him. When he meets Lori, he can't stop staring. Can she be his mate? Or will he be tricked again? The last book is called Citrine~Corrine knows deep in his heart that Robbie is his. When he gets robbie's address from the oracle , he leaves to find her only to be betrothed to Bryson the alpha male the next town over. Can Citrine let Robbie go? Or will he go down with a fight? Great read.

Not the best written, not the best stories
I did not like the writing and the stories. There were many nonsensical portions of the novels and I flipped through parts I found very boring. I did however finish it... as much as part of that was just irritation that I had actually paid for these. 😓
There were little details that really bothered me... The books focus a lot on women being unable to help and/or defend themselves (although they swear they are competent) and except for the last, it's like the author found an excuse to make them giggle... and not particularly well-written giggles.
I will say that these are better than the Rent-a-Dragon series, and that is not saying much.

Pretty Good Dragon Series
Enjoyed these romantic paranormal tales about awakened dragons and their trying to adapt to modern times while searching for their mates. Interesting scenarios present different problems for the couples, as well as convincing their mates that Dragon shifters do exist. Nice stories with subtle twists!

Great series
Another great Dragon series by this author, all these hot shifter alpha males are phenomenal and are all won over by the sexy females that burst into their lives. Each dragons story is hot and sexy in its own right as these Dragons find their way in this time and each discover their mates. Great stories great reads all full of interest and hot sexy bedroom action.

Brilliant
Rent-a-Dragon by Terry Bolryder is a very well written book. It was funny to the extent I laughed out loud quite a few times. It had suspense. Although there was no chance the dragon would not get the girl there were a few times you wondered. I throughly enjoyed this book as I do with all books written by this author.

My favorite series to date
I have read a lot of Terry Bolryder. This was the best series yet. While I've always enjoyed the happy endings the characters made me smile, laugh, cry and curse the sky! Each main male character has their personality that brings such an exciting aspect. I will continue to read every single one of Terry's books that I can get my hands on!

A great light read
Thoroughly enjoyed this anthology of dragons and their mates. It is amusing when they each meet their mates, these strong alpha makes become such muddy cats!! Some even purr!! But don't tell them that!!
As usual Terry Bolryder keeps us fully entertained!! Would definitely recommend.

Great book
Got the boxed set, so I could read all the books right after the other. Best decision ever. Great stories, amazing characters. Lots of action. Can't wait to read more. Definitely recommending

Great series
I love shifter books, but this one is different, and I loved it all. Couldn't put them down. Can't waite to start the next series. Looks like I will have quite a few from the list of this authors books.

Great read. I wish I had known the order to read all of her books before I read these, it would have helped & not spoiled the others for me. Still I really like these. I'm reading the Gem Stones now, yeah backwards I know.

What's not to love about dragons?
Love the decisive, demanding, claiming of the alpha dragons once they realize who their mates are. The pathetic indecisive weak females need to put their big girl panties on. A little too much angst for my taste.
Love the decisive, demanding, claiming of the alpha dragons once they realize who their mates are. The pathetic indecisive weak females need to put their big girl panties on. A little too much angst for my taste.

Enjoyed the Citrine story the most.
I enjoyed these. Finally, another type of shifter has mated a dragon. That's exciting. Now I just need to find what book comes next.
