What if the monsters in your head were far scarier than the ones under you bed? What if the whispers in the dark seemed more real than your own voice? A short story dedicated to those who live with mental illness, young and old. You are not alone.
(3.5-4stars) Firstly, I totally understand that this was just a short story but, here's the thing, in my opinion, this had so much more potential! I'd have loved for it to have been longer, for us to have gotten more detail, more everything! If that'd happened i'd have loved to have been able to understand how she developed Schizophrenia (Yes, before anyone comments, I DO understand this illness as I've got family members with it!). Anyway, all that aside, it was a really good read!!
Woah, I loved this story. So sad yet so twisted. It may have only been a short story but was enough to get the imagination going. I found this to be a very apt interpretation of schizophrenia. I felt so bad for the little girl. Really good story-telling.
