Fairy Tail acompanha a história do órfão Natsu que pequeno foi encontrado e criado por um dragão chamado Igneel. Misteriosamente após alguns anos, Igneel desaparece misteriosamente, o que leva Natsu a percorrer várias cidades em busca do pai adotivo, sempre acompanhado de Happy, um gatinho falante que possui asas.

Em uma dessas viagens de busca, o Natsu conhece Lucy, uma jovem atraente, cujo sonho era fazer parte de uma guilda – uma espécie de cooperativa que atua como mediadora de assuntos relacionados a trabalhos e informações para feiticeiros –, mais especificamente da Fairy Tail.

O sonho de Lucy não demorou muito para acontecer, pois Natsu acaba ajudando-a a entrar para o bando da Fairy Tail. Com isso a jovem se torna uma forte aliada na jornada em busca a Igneel. Juntamente com Gray e Elza, Natsu e Lucy irão enfrentar poderosos magos pertencentes a guildas das trevas, além de viverem muitas aventuras emocionantes.

About the author

Hiro Mashima (Jap: 真島ヒロ) is a Japanese manga artist.

He gained success with his first serial Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His best-selling work, Fairy Tail, published in the same magazine from 2006 to 2017, became one of the best-selling manga series with over 72 million copies in print. Mashima began the currently ongoing Edens Zero in 2018.

Fairy Tail won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and Mashima was given the Harvey Awards International Spotlight award in 2017 and the Fauve Special Award at the 2018 Angoulême International Comics Festival.

Primero, en serio me molesta el hecho de que la situación y los rivales me lo pinten como algo tan imposible de lograr cuando se sabe que al final igual van a ganar 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nos contaron la historia de Mavis y Zeref 💜🙈 jajaja si se sabía jajaja pero es algo cruel.
Se me había olvidado mencionar lo de Lucy, me gustó el nuevo poder que le dieron así ya no es tan inútil y puede luchar mejor junto a sus espíritus 🤭
Eso, ahora veamos como se va desarrollando la guerra aunque mañana porque ya me dio sueño :'v

AHHHH THE FEELS I CAN'T
I think this is officially my favorite cover out of the whole series, including spin-offs (we never did get a Jerza cover, which I am still salty about).

I LOVE Mavis and Zeref sooooo much; they contrast each other perfectly and are opposites and equals all in one. It's beautiful:)
Ankhselam's curse is one of the best written curses I've ever come across in a story: the more you love, the more things die. And people say Mashima is a terrible writer, puh-lease.
Poor little Mavis, I can't believe she was responsible for Makarov's mother's death. How could all of this happen to such a pure-hearted soul???
I'm so glad M+Z at least kissed once, because if Zeref pulled a Jellal at the last second, I would've chucked the book across the room and probably dropped this series altogether (jk, I'm just glad a significant couple actually kind've went somewhere, you know, before Mavis died:( ).

Si avverte davvero tanto che ci stiamo avvicinando al finale della serie e infatti in questo volume Natsu, Lucy e i loro compagni, dopo essere stati salvati da Makarov, abbandonano Alvarez e si preparano all'attacco imminente di Zeref e dei suoi pericolosi compagni. La parte più importante però è dedicata a Mavis, la prima Master che rivelerà alla Gilda la verità su di lei e Zeref e sul potere che il ragazzo vuole ottenere a costo di distruggere Fairy Tail e il Regno di Fiore. MI sta piacendo e appassionando molto questa parte, bello anche il fatto che la storia di Mavis non preveda la lettura obbligatoria di Fairy Tail Zero, ma a mio parere se l'avete letto vi piacerà ancora di più questa parte. E intanto si prospettano delle belle battaglie per il futuro...

Man, oh man. The master is back, the guild is fully built, and Zeref is coming with all his strength. The arc is building up to be pretty darn impressive. This volume gives us more background on who Zeref is and why he is going to attack plus incorporated Fairy Tail Zero (which I want to get around to reading). The best part though of this entire volume is Natsu and the interesting little surprise he has. Can’t wait to see how things play out!

Ah huh. I see.🤔 The unclear points of Mavis and Zeref were resolved a little. Therefore, they can’t find a real love and also they should not want to get love from people. However, the relationship between Zeref and Acronogia is still unclear for me.

Esto de leer sólo un tomo a la semana hace que se me acumule el trabajo cosa mala y hoy os traigo un tomo que debe tener más de un año. Pero bueno, si pasáis por aquí es que no os importa demasiado la actualidad XD.

El tomo en cuestión es el cincuenta y tres de Fairy Tail, un tomo en el que su autor se muestra en lo que mejor sabe hacer: enganchar al lector. Aquí tenemos una guerra en ciernes, la historia del pasado de la creador de Fairy Tail, su relación con Zelef, la reconstrucción de Fairy Tail, la presentación de los 12 magos a las órdenes de Zelef y el inicio de una guerra. Alguien da más?

De verdad que sólo apuntar lo que pasa en éste tomo ya ocupa un párrafo como el anterior, y eso es algo que debería daros una idea de lo intenso que es éste volumen. Y encima sin olvidar los momentos más calmados para recordarnos a todos los personajes que tenemos en danza.

Es curioso cómo Mashima es capaz de hacer tomos totalmente insulsos y luego se marca tomazos como el que nos ocupa hoy. Supongo que cuando tiene las ideas claras de lo que quiere hacer consigue salirse.

Además, el dibujo del autor sigue encantándome, y si nos da un par o tres de tomos a éste nivel yo estaré encantado de la vida. A ver lo que le dura la inspiración XD.

Mon avis (sans spoilers) concernant les tomes 46 jusqu'au 55.
Je dois avouer que j'ai beaucoup aimé ce qu'il se passe dans ces tomes. Certains passages/moments m'ont surprises, et ça fait du bien !
On a une certaine maturité qui s'est installée, les personnages ont grandis, ça se ressent et ça fait du bien. Et tout ça, sans qu'ils perdent leur personnalité, c'est à noter.
Je suis sur la dernière ligne droite, il ne me reste plus beaucoup de tomes. Je suis excitée et stressée à la fois !

My opinion (without spoilers) concerning volumes 46 to 55.
I must admit that I really liked what happens in these volumes. Certain passages/moments surprised me, and it feels good !
We have a certain maturity that has set in, the characters have grown, it's felt and it feels good. And all this, without losing their personality, it should be noted.
I'm on the home stretch, I don't have many books left. I'm excited and stressed at the same time !

5/5 I'm giving this one a higher rating because we finally get some answers and clarifications about Mavis, Zereff, and the curse that inflicts them.

The first half of the volume deals with backstory. We see how Zereff met Mavis 100 years ago and showed her some magic and they became friends. Mavis then inadvertently curses herself with the same curse that inflicts Zereff. They're immortal and essentially drain life from anyone they love. Mavis then winds up sealed away in the basement of Fairy Tail which we've known for awhile just not why.

The 2nd half of the volume is Zereff's country of Alvarez launching a full out assault on Fairy Tail. As usual it's looking bleak for our team but I'm sure they'll see through with the power of friendship like they always do.

Der Ton des letzten Bandes hält an. Natürlich gibt es einige Punkte, bei denen man merkt, dass sie nachträglich dazu erfunden wurden. Aber hey, immerhin taugen diese als Erklärung. Und auch die Übermacht des Gegners wird deutlich. ja, sie haben schon zig tausend Dinge geschafft, bei denen sie sterben können, die die Menschheit vernichtet hätte und so weiter. Aber es wird vermittelt, dass das noch mal schlimmer ist. Natsu scheint auch tatsächlich in dieser Gefahr zu gewachsen zu sein und ja, auch das ist als Erklärung akzeptabel, warum sie an ihrer Front nicht bereits alles geplättet haben. Mal schauen, ob sich das beibehält.

REVELATIONS! There is so much to pounder and think about upon finishing this volume, you may want to plan some time to reread some sections. The very first Fairy Tail Guild Masters origins are finally revealed! On top of that, Fairy Tail goes on the offensive (or at least planning stages to be prepared). Before they can even do more than that, 50 airships arrive as the battle is being brought to them. The rest is over, and the action carries through the rest of the volume! The stakes are high and even though I often say it...they continue to raise the bar to a new level of challenge for the Guild with the Heart of Gold!

Laxus got another big damn heroes moment thought it fit as it was set up that Team B was coming (I wish we'd seen more of that. We also got background information on Mavis and her former relationship with Zeref. The battle started with a bang, and does leave you wondering how they're getting out of it. But I'm already afraid that some of the hype on the 12 will be diminished when/if Erza takes out one by herself. I guess we'll see.

This series ALWAYS has the wow factors that I want in a book! The characters are always so humorous and fun! These particular chapters really shocked and peaked my interest. Especially the part with Mavis and Zeref and their hidden connection. I love how the author always leaves us at a cliffhanger, which makes the readers want more! Although this is a fictional book, the warm, anxious feeling you get from it is very much real.

La storia di Mavis e Zeref, l'origine di Fairy Tail, tanti colpi al cuore. Un volume che svela tanti misteri e lascia in sospeso il lettore proprio nel punto in cui sta per succedere l'irreparabile. Come sempre, l'ironia non manca, neanche in questo caso.
Consiglio di leggere lo spinoff di Fairy Tail Zero prima di arrivare a questo punto della saga.

Mavis and zeref ! Oh god it gets me every time. I love them and feel so strongly for them.

It's amazing how Hiro mashima has managed to make me hate and love and feel sorry for zeref all at the same time.

Se me hizo raro, recuerdo perfectamente la parte en que me quedé y creo que está llegando el siguiente tomo creo que ya será casi todo material nuevo, pero la backsory de Mavis no la recordaba para nada.
Empieza el gran ataque al gremio y dejan a la niña con los padres. Vale que ellos están más alejados pero ¿no tenían a nadie con quien dejarla mientras dura la ¡BATALLA?!

This part of the story was so pivotal and mind blowingly creative. I love Mashima's stuff, though frequently he speaks to not have known how the story will go it seems so well put together by this point it seems to have been well thought out rather then just sliding into place. Love this series so much.
