The Ties That Bind is book six in the Sydney Legal Series by Chris Taylor. Trey Walker was coming home when his brother Wade rang him for help. On arrival, Trey found his brother and a young unconscious woman. However, Trey Walker did not realise that helping Wade and this young woman would destroy and change his life in a way that he did not foresee. That night Trey Walker was charged with rape, and Kiesha Munro came into his life to defend him in court. The readers of The Ties That Bind will continue to follow Kiesha and Trey to discover what happens.
The Ties That Bind is another excellent addition to the Sydney Legal Series by Chris Taylor. I like how Chris Taylor described her settings and the plot of The Ties That Bind, which allows me to imagine being part of the book's plot. I love Chris Taylor's portrayal of her characters and how they interact with each other throughout this book. The Ties That Bind is well written and researched by Chris Taylor. I engaged with this book from the first page, ensuring I stayed glued to my chair until the last word.
The readers of The Ties That Bind will learn about the constraints that lawyers have with their clients. Also, the readers of The Ties that Bind will see what happens when one person's resentful, jealous and favouritism over another can destroy families.
I recommend this book.
