Avery I didn’t know who he was. I didn’t know what he was about. All I knew was that I was falling for him. Davis was a wonderful man. He was a great man that I thought could do no wrong. That could always make me happy and never make me sad. I was wrong, but everyone has their flaws, don’t they?
Davis I knew I was falling for her when she walked into the bar with her friends. When she sat down on the stool beside mine and we began talking it wasn’t forced. I knew who I was and it could be dangerous for her. I got up the nerve to ask her out on a date. Me. A man who never dated. A man who wasn’t interested in anything but what I did for a living. It was time, it was time to see if there was someone out there for me.
Avery works at a bank and the bank gets robbed. One of the robbers is very calm with people there when telling them what to do and he has a tattoo. One night Avery goes out for the night and meets Davis. They start a relationship and then she sees his tattoo and realises he is the one who helped Ron the bank. Can they make it work or will she end things with Davis. A romantic book which is action packed. I loved this book as they go thru so much together.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
A CUT ABOVE!!! This is one page turning, nailbiting, nerve racking, thrilling ride of a lifetime that was almost cut extremely short. Talk about getting caught up in the moment. When you're dealing with robbery, lies, deceit and mayhem. When life hangs in the balance. When around every corner could be your last. Where do you run to, who do ask for help, who is the one person that can blow this whole thing up your face. Emily really bought the bad out and let the cards fall where they may. At the end of the day is your world going to be still standing or do you back up and watch it burn? Tough decisions, tough choices and still only one person you feel completely safe. The characters are intriguing and complex with such a broad range of personalities that really make you take a second and maybe a third look at. The scenes realistic with vividly detailed descriptions that make you believe everything is happening in real time with the same steady pace. All the twists and turns really ser this tale apart from the rest with a unique turn of events that make your heart pound so hard it feels as though its going to jump out of your chest. Phenomenal job Emily, thanks for sharing this remarkable read with us.
Avery works at a bank that was robbed by masked men, that went very easily all due to one guy who carefully went round putting the bank clients at their ease, talking gently and reassuring them that no one would get hurt. Only one clue a tattoo on the nice guys side! I was so disappointed in this read as Emily Vincent is usually such a good writer but for me this book was far too short, and just cut off with no outcome to the real intrigue in the storyline. It seemed to be rushed and I know that Emily can do a lot better than this. I am volunteering to leave an honest review for a copy of this book.
Avery does not know how Dangerous Davis is; however, she is just as Dangerous to him.
This is my first great steamy romance by this great romance author! Avery is a bank teller suffering the trauma of a bank robbery. Davis is a dangerous criminal but what is more dangerous than falling in love? I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author!
This was a great story to read. It almost doesn't make sense that Davis has the "job" he has, but considering what motivates him I understand. He has a really good heart and seems like a great guy. Avery is a sweet character and they make a great couple. They have a bump in the road with their relationship, but gets their happily for now. I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Unique romance novel, in as much a the livelihood of the main male character is dubious at best. The personality of the man is most charming, sensitive, giving, thoughtful and lovable. Therein lies the conundrum. The main female character does not seem to have a strong grip on reality; she is looking for the fantasy. These two get tangled into a relationship that does work out in the end.
I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review.
I got this as an arc in return to give my review. In my opinion, the story was good. However as soon as she said she was going out I had already guessed that she would hook up with one of the robbers and fall in love, find out what he had done, get mad, get over it, get back together. I wish there would of been more to the story and more suspense and not so see through. But it was still a good read and all not disappointed completely just wish there would have been more.

A story about turning your dreams into reality. Falling in love with a thief who behaves like a gentleman is a modern day twist on an old tale told several times before. This is different as there is no pesky law enforcement chasing the hero and they can work on their happily ever after uninterrupted.
He was never interested in having a relationship and never asked for a date. When he was her that is what he did. He found he was falling in love. She didn't know much about him but she was falling in love with him. Who is he? What is his past? See what it is I received an advanced copy and I enjoyed it so much that I want to review
A sweet romance about a bank robber and teller who meet and end up falling in love. A modern take on the fairytale of Robin Hood. IF this is your interest you will enjoy this book.
This is my honest and unbias opinion of the story. This was a very enjoyable read. I really enjoyed reading this book very much and recommend this to all who love an enjoyable book.
This could have been a really good book. The typos and grammatical flaws ruined it for me. It was a unique story line though, and the main male lead was likable.
