Memorable Quotes: As Kari and Mel grieved for Cole, their friends and family clasped hands and formed a circle of prayer around them. The prayers continued for the next six hours, while surgeons worked in the delicate damaged portion of Cole’s brain. Again Kari felt an overwhelming sense of peace and acceptance. Not only was God in control of what happened to Cole, but—for the first time since Kari had become a mother—God was in control of her fear as well.
My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🏥✝️
My thoughts: 😇🛣 Angel in the Intersection - This was very good but short and to the point, like someone shared a story and then a storyteller repeated it I feel like every story is going to be good. 📖 ⚾️😥 At Every Game - Oh, I was not expecting that. That hurt my heart a little. 🚚📦🏥 Letting Go - Praise God! This is a very touching story. 📖 🏕🌧🙏🔥 A Child Shall Lead Them - This a good testimony about the small things. 🩰 The Gift of Dance - This one was hard to get through, my abdomen still hurts from the labor portion of the story. ⛲️🐠 Rescued by an Angel - This was good. 🤰🏻👶🏼 A Dream Come True - This is a beautiful story but I'm not sure why the dad was so fixated on coloring, but ask and you shall receive. 📖 🤰🏥👨🏻✈️ Whatever It Takes - This was hard to get through, so much so that I'm taking a break from this book. 🔖Page 95 of 165 Heavenly Reminder - These stories were very beautiful at first, but the last couple has traumatized me a bit. This is why I rarely read medical stories, fiction, or non-fiction. I was not expecting so many of these to have medical aspects. These stories are truly wonderful, but I'm gonna need a moment to recover from the last couple, especially the one where there were 7 surgeries involved and tons of bleeding. My empathetic self has been physically in pain since The Gift of Dance, but once I start, I can't stop as the pain and anxiety will not diminish until the happy ending. I don't know if this is snowballing from that story or if each one is just more medically traumatic, so I'm going to take a break. 🏠🔥 Heavenly Reminder - I wonder if the couples whose homes have been spared in the recent Los Angeles fire have similar stories about prayer. 📖 🐦👵The Miracle of Good-Bye - This was sad but sweet. 📖 🤰🏽👶🏽👶🏽 The Miracle of Life - 😔💔 I know too many stories like this a never knew this outcome was an option. 🦃☎️ A Phone Call Home - This is a beautiful story and perspective is important because I would not have picked up that phone and I would have labeled this a horror story If I was watching it play out in a silent movie If I was watching it play out in a silent movie, but when you have peace from the Lord you see things differently. 📖 ⛰️🛻 On Angels’ Wings - This one is going on my list of stories to share on the prayer call 📖 🏥👼🏼Angel in the Darkness - Oh I was expecting a different ending. 📖 👼🏾 The Littlest Angel - This was so sweet, I may share it first. 📖
I fell in love with this book; the first and the last stories embodied what I thought this book was gonna be about, but the ones in the middle that dealt with death and medical heartbreak I had a hard time with, and I'm not sure if I can read another one of these books for a while. I love blessings but I don't like enduring pain to get to them. I'm looking forward to reading these stories to my family during our weekly prayer calls, I'm marking them with 📖 so l can easily remember which ones I loved.

What a wonderful book filled with stories of miracles that inspire, encourage and uplift the believer's soul. I was so blessed and heard stories that I will share with others to encourage and relate the supernatural still here and available to us.
I would recommend this book to any one who is hopeful, has lost hope or is sure there's got to be an answer. In the retelling of the miraculous, we become more faith filled with the belief that if that could happen for someone else, it could happen for us as well.
This book started out very frustrating to me, as I felt it assumed that all women are mothers. Then I got a hold of myself and realized that although I am not a mother, I am a child, so these stories are still about me. The biggest take home for me was that I need to pray more.
This was a heart warming read, that's great for a rainy afternoon. All these stories are about the imaginable happening to people, keeping faith and remembrance of prayer with God he will take car of us who are faithful..
A very quiet book full of inspiration to believe in miracles. From babies first born, to young adults, to the aged, it witnessed miracles to all. It helped me to pray more and believe miracles were possible. It also witnessed to angels, heavenly bodies that I truly believe in. One of my favorites stories was titled "The Gift of Dance." It was about a girl who had cerebral palsy brought on by a premature birth. Bur she conquered it by dancing. With her mother's encouragement, she danced her heart out. And was rewarded in the end by a job. It was a miracle that she had overcome her disability. Nice stories.

Heartfelt inspiring stories that helps us remember God’s love for his children and helps us to understand that even in the midst of sorrow, He is with us guiding the way. We may not understand why some things happen, but He has a plan for us and will give us peace and strength to get through the tough times.
Although this book is named a book for women, it can be for anyone. The stories are mainly about families and children and God's great intervention in their lives. A very encouraging book and a reminder that God is ever present in our lives, guiding and directing us and, most of all, loving us.
Wonderful and short stories of miracles that happened in the lives of people. Each person re with a different background and different life styles. Very enjoyable and easy to read.
Karen Kingsbury never lets me down with these books of hers always shows us God is always there and in control even when we may forget. I haven't come across a book of hers that is less than 5 stars.
So easy to forget the miracles in our lives. They are real and they are daily. A refreshing reminder and read. Written so much better than most books like this.
"Women are a busy lot, rushing through the days trying to manage a dozen different roles. We are mothers, daughters, friends, neighbors, counselors, house cleaners, chauffeurs, cooks, caretakers, and dreammakers. Often we are responsible for the well-being of everyone in our own little worlds. But in the rush of life we rarely take time to revel in the miracles around us - the living examples and awe-inspiring proof of God's love.
The baby that should have died but lived.
The child saved from a pond without a trace of the golden-haired rescuer.
The paralyzed young woman who walked down the aisle a year later and married her high school sweetheart.
The angelic reminder that even in death, God is there.
Miracles abound if we only take the time to look.
It's been said that we women were created with a relationship manual built into our hearts. But we are nothing more than harried, hassled, dried-out machines if we don't take the time to allow our souls to sing again. Time to sit quietly in the presence of God's miracles and be reminded that he is still working among us. " (pg 7-8)

I received A Treasury of Miracles for Women by Karen Kingsbury compliments of Faith Words, a division of Hachette Book Groups for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for a favorable review and the opinions contained here are strictly my own unless otherwise notated. This is such an encourage book to give as a gift to anyone struggling with their faith or going through a difficult time, to see how God can answer a simple prayer in life changing ways. I easily give this one a 5 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
As always, Karen Kingsbury is my all time favorite author. This was a good before bed read to remind us of God's miracles. I often put God in a box as to what He can do. This reminds me to not underestimate what God do.
If you doubt the existence of angels read this book and believe. God uses angels to give us strength, hope, peace and belief in the existence of Him and angels to help us when we need it most.
