Very accessible, clear steps for the genealogy beginner as to how to start and move forward with their genealogical journey. The author offers a downloadable list of these steps, along with information (and links) about/to online databases, helpful articles, forms/charts/logs, locations of vital information (online and in person), online mailing lists, recommended reading, and details on how to publish your family history findings. This is very easy to read and understand, and very encouraging. I am glad I stumbled on it just as I was considering taking the plunge into my own research!
