Bedlam: Mixing

Rate this book
Oil and water; drinking and driving; Earth’s universe and the Bedlam dimension…some things just don’t mix well.
On the verge of a mass extinction of Earth species brought about by the cyclical mixing of two dimensions with very different rules, young Rika Evans discovers that she comes from a long line of ancestors with the ability to cross over into the intruding dimension, a medieval dimension where magic lives and mythical beings walk the forests.

Follow Rika and her father, Ben, as they seek safety from a ravaged Earth in the Bedlam dimension, only to find that the mixing is causing problems in both dimensions. Will their ability to manipulate Bedlam energy and the strength of their ties to each other be enough to bring them both through?

Fans of sword and sorcery, saucy young women, magic, mythical creatures, and well meaning dads will enjoy this lively tale packed with action, adventure, and personal growth. Although this is just the first Bedlam story, it can be read as a stand alone novel; it is not a cliffhanger. I wouldn’t do that to you!

Fun and easy read

It's so great to read a father/daughter adventure. I love the relationship between all of the characters, and the detailed description of each, it's very easy to get lost in their world. the changing of perspectives throughout the book was so fun. I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next in this series.

Great story!

I was first captured by the idea of parallel world's with "twixters" moving between them. Then the enchanting style of the author, his lively characters and a gripping plot contributed to this 5 star rating. I think anyone from 8 to 80 would enjoy this book. I look forward to the sequel from this new author
