3.5 stars but rounding up. We start at Hogwarts where we get some backstory of what is happening between Draco and Harry. Draco ends up leaving England and is away for over ten years. We then follow what happens between the two of them when they are thrown back together. I liked it but it felt very uneven and I did not fully believe their emotional distance knowing what had happened.

Not sure what to say here. The plot was not plotting.
Many things happen but they’re all disjointed and have no effect on the main story, so things are just there for shock value. I guess.
Still, it’s fanfiction. Where things are written with love and for love only.
Harry and Draco love story is cute.

Remember this fic by: lust potion, werewolf, knotting, dubious consent.

I quite enjoyed this story! Their relationship was cute, I love the way they got together. Harry being a werewolf was a surprise, but it was interesting with the way the story went.

Draco pauses. Swallows. Stares. Potter's got on a battered leather jacket. And Merlin help him, boots. Draco's got a thing for leather and boots, truthfully he's probably got a bit of a thing for Harry Potter as well, but the leather and boots certainly don't help.

I like the direction this took - Draco gets an AU plotline from 6th year and it brings him back into the fold years later without a lot of the heavier baggage he usually carries. While I don't think that was totally necessary to the overall plot, at least it gave us some spice right off the bat, am I right? This writer has a good knack for giving their stories these different little details that really make them stand out from each other, like sassy Pansy and the magical device subplot in this one.

"You've no idea how you looked, do you? All messy with your clothing wet and sticking to you."
"I was covered in mud," Draco protests, running his hands over Potter's shoulders, can't stop touching him, can't quite believe he'd allowed to touch him.
"I know, you were bloody gorgeous."

I also really liked the nuances of Harrys personality that changed with his condition, not going to lie, possessive!Harry might be my new favorite thing.

Tropes:
– Draco/Harry fanfiction
– Workplace (Auror partners/teachers)
– Romantic suspense
– Second chance... ish
– Forced proximity
–

When Harry helps Draco escape his life in sixth year, Draco doesn't come back for about 13 years. But now, he's back and Draco is still so damn obsessed with him.

This was super cute!! I loved the second chance-ish aspect of it and the way they didn't mess around once they got together. The romantic suspense was enjoyable and the writing was so funny and witty. THE ACRONYMS KILLED ME LOLLLLLLL literally the best part of this book. Pots and Pans. Weasel and Ferret. Just hysterical. I love this author!

for the first half of the book, I would have given 5 stars ✨ I felt like big parts of the story were rushed, which was to be expected with such few pages. loved the pining, but the start of the relationship came quite sudden in the end and felt again, rushed. I liked the different bits and pieces, but they sometimes felt like different storylines that were not connected. really liked the creative jokes that were woven throughout the whole book though :)

remember this by; lust potion, draco fleeing sixth year, werewolf, aurors

Alright, first of all: this stars WAY too suddenly. And it was so absurd I thought it was a dream-- was convinced it HAD to be a dream.
Alas, no.
There were several funny aspects to this love. I like how the author creates lots of ridiculous inside jokes and silliness.
But at the same time, this story just felt off, and I wasn't really into it or really convinced by any of the characters or scenes or dialogue. It felt a bit forced, or contrived.

Loved the initial twist of Harry and Draco sixth year in Poudlard. I kind of think this is how it should have happen... salvation of Draco and all... 😁
Then It was a more classic plot of Aurors Draco and Harry with the added bonus of Draco as a magical spy devices genius!
