I think this has been my favorite CI novella so far! Chapter 2 came and I was HOOKED. I couldn't believe all the intrigue in this book! I could totally use it to make a great unit with a movie I already show in Spanish 4 from Colombia about drug trafficking. Wow. I am so glad I read this!

Read to preview for my Spanish class library - a quick interesting read but centers around a girl who works for a modeling agency that pressures her to traffic drugs. Ultimately a good moral but possibly too intense for my middle schoolers.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s probably too advanced for my beginning Spanish students, but the story is full of culture, intriguing characters, and lots of suspense. And it used comprehensible language. Perfect for an FVR library.
