Jamie was born into a big, crazy family of 6 children. Being the youngest, she always got away with anything and would never shut up. Constantly letting her imagination run wild, her teachers were often frustrated when her ‘What I did on the weekend’ stories contained bunyips and princesses.

Growing up, Jamie did the sensible things and obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from Southern Cross University and worked hard to gain her membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Yet nothing compared to writing. Quitting the rat race to spend quality time with her laptop named Lily, Jamie has written several novels and screenplays. Spanning a number of genres and mediums, Jamie writes whatever inspires her from ghost stories to teenage love stories to tantalising murder mysteries. Nothing is off limits.

A self-confessed television addict, dog lover, Taylor Swift fan, and ghost hunter, Jamie loves nothing more than the thrill of sharing her stories.

This fairy tale romance is one exiting read that has readers’ dreams and imagination taking flight. Ronan and Alana are strong, spirited characters that readers just can’t help but fall in love with, they easily draw readers to them and thrill them with an adventure and romance of a lifetime. The romance is sweet as Ronan becomes captivated with the feisty Alana when she refuses to make her wishes and the more he learns the more the chemistry burns and the attraction sizzles.

The story is fast paced and full of thrills and excitement as Alana investigates the death of her friend and ends up on the wrong end of some heavy duty enemies that just happen to be Ronan’s enemies as they battle from Alana’s world to the fae world and back again with some stunning magical battles. Surprising twists keeps readers on their toes and there’s never a chance to become bored as this fairy tale romance takes flight on a magic carpet ride that readers can’t help but enjoy.

I've only read A Crown of Blood and Ashes by Elle Middaugh so far here's my review:
The cover of this book is beautiful! It made my excitement to read this sky high. However this book FRUSTRATED me, and slightly confused me! Lol Yes even through my frustration I did give this book 4 stars. I liked the concept and a majority of the characters, also Autumn and Darren were a hot couple with amazing chemistry which helped a lot. It's hard to explain my feelings without giving away the book in general, but after you read it (and it's DEFINITELY worth the read!) you will understand more of where I'm coming from.
Darren was a huge reason for my frustration! I felt like he just let everything go. You don't love someone as much as he loved Autumn to just roll over and allow what was happening to happen! I understood where he was coming from as far as having to follow orders but how can you lead a coven if your that weak minded to get walked over like that. My confusion lies with Varek. He's wanted total domination one minute but treated Autumn with the utmost respect. That gave me emotional whiplash and left me extremely confused on who he's supposed to be as a character. Autumn was the strongest character in this story imo!! She wanted to take action, wanted change, she didn't want to roll over and take it! When she finally stood up and accomplished what the men couldnt. Love her! I am looking forward to Jared's book. I'm curious to see who stole his interest and where this world of Vampires and Witches leads to next, and to learn more about Lady Diedra hopefully! I think there's more to her then we think. I'm also hoping for a book on Verak, cause no matter how confusing his character made me his "aura" is hot!

Enjoyable Fantasy RH! 3.5 Stars 🌟
OF FIRE AND ICE by Grace White

This is a decent YA RH story.💙💝💙💙
Gayla is a Princess in her village. Four years ago 'The Cold Ones' came to their village and took her best friend & soul mate, Kalen!!😭 No one really knows anything about the cold ones other than the scary story's they're told by the village elders. Everyone agrees that the Ice Queen is extremely dangerous!!

Gayla was a strong minded young woman who had honed herself as a hunter & warrior for 4 long years while waiting to turn 18 so she could go and search for Kalen!🔪🐗🎯 I really liked Leyton's laid back personality 💙 Damien was so kind but wow he didn't hold back!!😜 We didn't get to know Kalen really but from what was seen he was their leader & smoking hot!😎

I enjoyed this story & would love it if the Author decided to return to Aithne when the Queen returns!!👑😎 It would be nice to see their relationship once it's been cemented for a while🔥🔥🎉

Review for Shimmer by Sharon Ashwood

There is originality all throughout the first book in the Crown of Fae series. Characters have their own distinct capabilities and personalities, while the premise is uniquely imaginative. The history about the various tribes that make up the fae intrigued me, and how past battles shaped the future of these fascinating beings was cleverly plotted. Sharon Ashwood has come up with an inventive storyline for her paranormal romance, where possible scenarios could turn deadly or lead to lasting happiness.

After losing an underground martial arts fight, Alana Beech must look for another career. Though she wants vengeance against whoever fixed the match, no one else in the fae community seems interested in helping her get payback for all she lost. Taking a mundane job at a store which sells books and deals in specialty items, one customer brings in a brass lamp that shockingly contains a genie named Ronan. He was once a dragon shifter in Faery, but an epic skirmish led to him being trapped in the lamp and now he must bestow three wishes to its current owner. Alana does not request the normal demands, and she plus Ronan are soon battling a merciless enemy determined to overpower their kind.

From the very start of SHIMMER, I was captivated by the circumstances that affected the fae plus the group who could turn into a dragon. Sharon Ashwood definitely came up with several innovative ideas for her story, and each one came across as believably realistic. How those with evil intentions were able to move from one place to another made me wonder about the consequences if this could actually take place. I really liked how Ronan and Alana reacted to the situation, as she was not immediately greedy while he was cautiously optimistic. As personal details were learned, this couple revealed their true natures with compassionate deeds. I really enjoyed this romantic take on a classic fairytale, as SHIMMER is enchantingly magical.

I voluntarily reviewed the book, and all comments are my honest opinion

This is a boxset of fairytale retellings that are very different from the originals. I really liked the way that each author had interpreted their fairytale differently, so you never knew what would come next! With a huge array of stories, characters, settings and genres, there's definitely something for everyone in here. Highly recommended reading!
Individual stories:
Reclaimed by Jamie Campbell (5*) 1/1
This modern day reimagining of Snow White is an excellent story. I especially like the fact that Snow is not just a helpless, airhead bimbo of a princess, but actually makes a difference as a nurse and volunteering in the homeless shelter. It's also good having Rose Red in the story, as so many modern stories have gone the way of Disney and omitted her. An awesome retelling!
And Today I Die by C.M. Stunich and Tate James (5*) 2/1
This is an incredibly dark tale, combining Cinderella and Baba Yaga (a Russian tale). With reverse harem romance elements and the darkness throughout, this is definitely not a tale for younger readers! I did enjoy it though, and I hope the authors release a continuation of the story.
Tales & Time by G Bailey (4*) 3/1
This tale had such promise to it, based on such an awesome premise, but its pace kept getting stuck on the romance stuff, rather than moving, and so the story didn't really get very far, which was disappointing. I'd be interested in reading the series, but only if it actually had some story around the romance bits!
The Golden Stag by Ivy Quinn writing with Megan Hussey (5*) 4/1
Described as a "modern retelling of the fairytale 'Brother and Sister' with a noir twist", this story was an excellent read. While it's not a very well known fairytale, that doesn't matter for this story, as it's excellent in its own right. I'd highly recommend this story, and definitely be interested in reading more books in this series!!
YoungBloods by Carysa Locke writing with Lucy Smoke (5*) 5/1
This is a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, with reverse harem romance elements, werewolves and magic included. It's a fantastic read, and I'd highly recommend it. Can't wait to read more of this series too - got to know what happens next!!
The Heart of Oz by Isra Sravenheart (4*) 6-7/1
This excellent story is like a prequel to the Wizard of Oz, even before Wicked, where we find out how the land of Oz was shaped into the way it appears in the story we all know and love. Whilst it's an excellent story, and I'd definitely be interested in reading more of the series based on the storyline, there are a lot of errors in the story, which I found especially distracting, and this was the reason it lost a star. I can only hope the author has better proofreading in future stories!
Shimmer by Sharon Ashwood (5*) 7/1
This is a retelling of Aladdin, with role reversal (it's a female who holds a male genie in the lamp), dragons, fae, fighting, magic and a sprinkling of romance. A good story.
Glass Rose by Liz Gavin (3*) 6/3
While this had the makings of a good story - forming the magical rose, hunted by the nazis etc - once we got to the modern day, it was like the author had used all her word count already, as everything was rushed, off-screen, and then the story abruptly stopped. This was obviously supposed to be a full-length story that just got chopped down to fit, and it just doesn't work. Very disappointing.
Beauty’s Cursed Sleep by Mary E. Twomey
This is a fantastic tale, retelling the Sleeping Beauty story in a much darker, more magical and really thrilling, engaging story. I LOVED it, and would highly recommend this book to all adult fairytale lovers, and am definitely going to try and read more instalments in the series too.
Mystery Spot by Russell Nohelty (5*) 7/3
I'm not sure whether this was based on an existing fairytale or was an original one (I certainly didn't know the original if it's a retelling) but it's probably my favourite story I've read in a while - and I read lots of books! Full of spunk, magic, lots of twists and even laughs in the darker places, it's a fabulous tale that I thoroughly enjoyed. And I loved thinking of all the places I would go if had pixie dust too!
Forbidden by Adrienne Woods (5*) 8-9/3
This was billed as Little Red Riding Hood with supernaturals, but was SO much more! A story full of depth, thrills, great invention and a sprinkle of romance with realistic human sides to the characters, it's a great read and I'm definitely interested in reading more of this series! And to read at the end that this author isn't even the inventor of this world? Unbelievable!
Natural Magic by Erin West writing with Nicole Kelley (3*) 9/8
I liked this story, which combined witches, necromancer mages and wolf shifters, but things did just happen fine no matter what, and if there was a potential issue, the author overcame it by having the character use a bit of magic (like having Sage use magic to convince the university registrar that it's ok for her to be there). This was a little bit lazy, as there were other ways they could've written the story instead, but overall the story is good for a short read, and I enjoyed it. I'm not looking for more though.
Daughter of the Hunt by Helen Scott (4*) 9/8
This was an interesting story, with a reverse harem romance element to it (though it's only just starting here - you'll have to read the actual series to find the rest of the story). It was a good read, but it's a shame it finished just as it was getting good!
Untouched by Stephanie Morris (4*) 10/8
This is like a reversed Beauty and the Beast, with the female playing the part of the disfigured recluse (who is also a black bear shifter) who is discovered by a visiting handsome human male and has to be coaxed into finding future life and love again. A good read, but very sexually explicit.
Speechless by Madeline Freeman (4*) 10-11/8
This is a futuristic Little Mermaid, and it was an enjoyable read. I liked the characters, but Enrique and Aria are unbelievably naive! Still, a good take on a classic story.
Fairy Godmother Gone Bad by Sadie Carter (5*) 12/8
I LOVED this story! While I guessed who the baddie was really early on, it didn't spoil the story at all. The characters of Esme and Antonio are brilliant, with fabulous personalities and interplay between them, making you both laugh and sigh. I highly recommend this story to anyone who likes their fairytales with attitude, and I'm definitely interested in reading more of the series.
The Wolf Malediction by India Kells (5*) 12/8
This story is a retelling of The Frog Prince with Norse myth elements woven through it, and I really loved the combination. It's an excellent tale with strong characters and great storytelling, and a beautiful HEA ending. Lovely.
A Prince of Her Own by Cailin Briste (4*) 18/8
This is a story that is based around a retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses, and I love how the author has taken elements from that story, completely twisted them on their head and then included them in the story, woven among the new, original content. It's a great read, and I highly recommend it to lovers of paranormal romances and fairytale retellings.
A Crown of Blood and Ashes by Elle Middaugh (4*) 18/8
This story is like a paranormal version of Romeo and Juliet, with vampires and witches instead of human families, and very different twists! It's a good story, though I think I would've given Darren a good kick in the nether regions if I was Autumn!! Overall though, a good read, and I'd definitely read more books in this series.
Red Rose by Tigris Eden writing with Misha Elliott (4*) 31/8
This story has elements of Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White and Rose Red, all mixed together, with a certain straw-to-gold spinning man also making an appearance, as well as incorporating all manner of fantasy characters and elements, and mind-twists. It's a good tale, but I did find it a bit hard to keep up with all the jumping around in time and location (and people!) sometimes.
The Cleaner by Caroline A Gill (5*) 1/9
This is an amazing story, combining Jack and the Beanstalk, The Brave Little Tailor, a dryad version of The Pied Piper, The Goose Girl, and then the author has thrown in bad witches, good oracles and just about every type of mythological, supernatural and paranormal creature ever imagined!! It's a great story, and even the errors in it weren't enough to spoil it for me. Highly recommended reading for all fairytale lovers, and I really hope to read more books by this author in future!
Cindra: A Paranormal Fairytale by Siera London (4*) 2-3/9
This sci-fi Cinderella retelling is a good story, and very interesting. I enjoyed it, and it has everything you could want from a fairytale, even a scifi one - a man and a woman finding each other through unusual circumstances, tension, fighting and, of course, love conquering all!
Of Fire and Ice by Grace White (5*) 6/9
I really enjoyed this retelling of The Ice Queen, one of my favourite fairytales, and one that's not often retold. It's a reverse harem romance, but there's no explicit sex scenes, so don't be put off by that. I loved this story and would highly recommend it to all fairytale lovers.
The Bride by Rebekah R. Ganiere (5*) 6/9
This is an excellent retelling of Dracula, with a hint of Cinderella thrown in for good measure! As a huge lover of Dracula, I was really looking forward to reading this story, and I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended reading for all vampire romance fans!
Shaman States of America: Inch High Hunter by Chrishaun Keller-Hann (4*) 6/9
This tale has its roots in the story of Thumbelina, though it is very different. I enjoyed it, and it is a great story to finish the boxset with

Wow! 25 fairytales. Retold. Imaginative, sexy, dark, and twisted. Princesses, queens, kings, and villains from your childhood stories reimagined for the adult you by some of the best writers on the market today. I am currently reviewing And Today I Die and Youngbloods. I will add reviews for the other stories as I go along.

And Today I Die is a Reverse Harem retelling of the popular Russian fairytale "Vasilisa the Beautiful". 4-stars. This is roughly Cinderella with the addition of the famed Russian witch Baba Yaga and a magical doll. Lissa was given a doll by her mother that is 'alive'. She's Lissa's best friend and the only line of defense she has against her stepmother. Unfortunately, one night her stepmother's temper becomes deadly and doll isn't around to save her. Clinging to life Lissa is saved by a man and taken home with him to Baba Yaga's cottage where the witch strikes a deal with Lissa to save her life. It turns out that Lissa has a history with Baba Yaga and the three men living under the witch's control. Now the witch has Lissa under her control too and her life and very soul are in danger unless she and the men can escape.
I am in awe of the creative talent of CM Stunich and Tate James. Their imaginations and versatility, not to mention their quality writing always provide an outstanding book. This time we have a fairy tale in the style of the original Brothers Grimm and not meant for children or the faint of heart. This story is original (hard to do with a retelling), horrifically vivid, twisted, scary, and sad with a touch of steaminess thrown in (hard to do considering their surroundings and situation). It has surprising depth with layer upon layer of story. Lissa is a worthy heroine; beautiful with inner strength. The men are her equals. The character's shared history makes their current storyline even more powerful. Baba Yaga is historically one of the most powerful witches of folklore and this story does her justice. Doll was equally terrifying in her own way. This book kept me enthralled for a one-sitting read. I can't wait to see how and where this story goes in the future.

Youngbloods by Lucy Smoke and Carysa Locke, 5-stars. Rowan has been raised by her Grams since losing her family tragically as a young girl. She's been happy, working in her Gram's florist shop and spending time with her best friends, three brothers, Leo, Julius, and Simon. The brothers mean the world to Rowan so when tragedy strikes once again, Leo and Julius are ripped away by monsters and Simon goes after them, Rowan's life changes forever once again. She finds out there are things about herself that she was unaware of and that the monsters were meant for her, so she dedicates herself to strengthening herself and finding the brothers. She won't stop until she is with them once more.
I loved this story from beginning to end. The tension and suspense grew with each page until the inevitable struck. But I still wasn't prepared. The characters are so good, the friendships so real, and the hope for future relationships so strong that I was dealt a serious blow with the events. The enemy I never saw coming, the loss, Rowan's pain and guilt. I am desperate for more. I know the innocence of youth is gone but I still have hope. These four are meant to be. Circumstances have changed, they are changed but I know their bond still exists. It's worth fighting for. If they can find one another, they can find the love they should never have been robbed of.

For the story SHIMMER by Sharon Ashwood:
I have to say, there was nothing about this book I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The writing, the plot, the characters all shine. I was pulled into the author's story of a strong female Fae warrior & an entrapped Air Fae Dragon genie. My reading tastes have changed in the last couple years & fantasy hasn't been my forte in awhile but I did truly enjoy this book. The author (IMO) did a fantastic job of building her characters (good & evil), blending the magical with the human, action, tension & mystery. At no point did I want to skim any portion of the book & I was genuinely interested in where the story was going as well as how it would get there.
Oftentimes female characters grate on my nerves, they tend to be either too ditzy or emotional or paragons of strength & snarky, but Alana (female H of the book) was very believable: strong & sure due to her life experiences & training but due to betrayal of an awful kind, damaged (but not broken), knocked down (but not out) & reluctantly trying to become an 'average' person (although a Fae). She was determined, pulled strength from inside when it called for it but filled with compassion for others & supreme loyalty to her few friends.
Ronan (male H) didn't feature as strongly in the story as Alana did, it is her book essentially, but he came across as a sorcery enslaved Air Fae Dragon Prince of integrity & sense of honor, duty & responsibility who, after untoward centuries of being enslaved to a lamp & torn from his dragon self, has all but given up any hope of returning home to find the rampaging Evil, much less ever be free.
And now it seems The Shade, the Evil that overran Ronan's magical home world & drove almost all magical beings into the human world, is beginning an assault on humanity.
But then Alana finds the lamp & things for The Shade, Ronan, Alana & both the Fae & Human worlds may never be the same.
An excellent & exceptionally entertaining book I loved & highly recommend.

>>> Reviewing “DAUGHTER OF THE HUNT” from “ONCE UPON A REBEL FAIRYTALE” <<<
Roxanne and Tina went out dancing for the evening. Suddenly Tina’s ex-boyfriend pushed his way through the crowd and grabbed her by the arm to drag her out. Everyone stopped to watch the excitement. Roxanne couldn’t punch him because she was too powerful to release her fae strength on a human without serious damage. But suddenly the gorgeous bouncer, Iain, stood in front of him and told him to leave the girl and they would go have a talk about this. The women followed and Jason called Tina some awful names. When Roxanne made a comment about it, Jason knocked her to the floor! Next he knew, Iain sent him flying out of the room. Roxanne realized she had been searching for her ‘Generals’ in the wrong way! Iain was a trained and powerful fighter! Tina was afraid to go home or to Roxanne’s, so Iain offered to take them to his place and recommended talking to the police in the morning.

Roxanne planned to return to talk to Jason and Iain agreed to drive her there to Jason’s apartment. She went in alone and used her magic to rid the world of Jason, binding him as a steed to the Hunt. He would not be bothering Tina again. But as she walked back to the car, she dropped to the concrete unconscious. Iain was grateful to be an older vampire when he had to enter the hospital with Roxanne. He was able to control any ‘cravings’ in that environment. The doctor told him she seemed unharmed but they could not wake her. He also asked about her tattoo, so they walked to her room together. Seeing the shimmer on her skin, he realized she was not human as he had first thought. The leaves on the branches of her tattoo seemed to be unfurling! What kind of supernatural was she?

This story was excellent, capturing the reader’s attention and not letting go! Join Roxanne in her search for her Generals of the Wild Hunt, the best warriors Earth has to offer. Already she is off to an amazing start and you’ll love the journey!

I bought this anthology because a few of my favourite authors have stories in it. I am not going to review them all as there are too many to write about in this awesome collection of stories

And today I die by CM Stunich and Tate James

Wow! This is a seriously good story. Lissa swaps one slave driver for another who is a lot lot worse. Even with the three hot guys trapped with her it’s bad. With twists and turns I did not see coming there is a lot of action, excitement and scary moments, it kept me hooked and glued to the page and I am eagerly awaiting more

Tales and Time by G Bailey

Okay I need more! A fabulous story about fairy tales, but as you have never seen them before. Madi is about to turn 17, has a boyfriend she loves very much and is at school. Her whole world changes on her 17th birthday throwing her into a strange new world, but some familiar faces confuse her further. Well written and a great storyline, this story is epic and I cannot wait to read more

Youngbloods by Carysa Locke and Lucy Smoke

This is a retelling of little red riding hood, but it’s way better than the original! Rowan and her boys are just friends and in high school, Rowan has noticed a few different things happening but puts it down to one of those things but prom changes her and the boys life irrevocably. Well written I found this story to be very exciting and I cannot wait to read more

There are a lot of other stories in this anthology and I must admit there are some I cannot get into or did not enjoy and here are a larger number of those I loved, this anthology is a complete bargain and I highly recommend it, a fantastic read

Once Upon A Rebel Fairytale is a fabulous collection of 24 paranormal romance fairytales.

Note: just temporarily the book is split into 2 files, so it took me awhile to realise that the remaining books needed to be downloaded it. Skip to the “Dear Reader” section to download the remaining stories.

Review for: A Crown of Blood and Ashes by Elle Middaugh
From the introduction page I was hooked with this steamy, fast paced and adventure packed paranormal romance story.
Autumn Delarose is a Witch and a Princess. After a brief encounter with a injured vamp called Darren, she can’t stop thinking about him and looking forward to seeing him again.
However her parents have a “secret” plan, with the vampire heirs competing for Autumn’s hand in marriage. Will the one she had already fallen for be the victor? Or will she be forced to marry someone she doesn’t love?
I can’t wait to read about Jared and Michelle’s story next, as this book had some l amazing characters.

Review for: Tales and Time by G. Bailey
Madi’s life is turned upside down on the day of her 17th birthday, when she’s told that she’s a descendant of Sleeping Beauty and will be attending the Lost Time Academy.
This is a short reverse harem story.
Looking forward to more fairy tale adventures, and hopefully more Tale brothers.

I'll leave individual review for each book I have read:

Speechless

What if the Little Mermaid was one of us from the beginning? What if her reason for going to land was not what we remember of the story?
In Speechless we find a girl that has many common traits to Ariel. Indeed Aria is curious, a rebel and eager for adventure. She is also ready to do a lot to protect those that she loves and what she believes Is right even ready to sacrifice herself. But that’s it. For the rest, Aria never wanted to do a pact with a witch and she did not do it because of her love for an unattainable man.
Futuristic sciences and lost technologies are joining with mutations and new capacities in the world of Speechless. Our heroine has secrets she wants to keep and other she’d rather share. The choice I not hers and that’s keeping us on toe about what is going to happen next. Who are the people that Aria encounter in her mission? What is really the goal of the agency and why is there such a huge secret about the Mars missions? What is really happening with the mutants?
At the end of the book we want to pick the next in the series and binge read. I am ready to follow Aria’s adventure to Mars and back, what about you?

Wholly amaze-balls! Helen Scott has become one of my favorite authors. I was introduced to her writing when I picked up a copy of the Cerberus series on a whim and fell in love with the characters and the story. So much so, that I ended up binging on the remaining books in the series less than 24 hours after finishing the first one. Recommend this book and any other book from Helen Scott. Can’t wait to sink my teeth into Helen’s next book!
This wonderful gem, is a spin off from the Cerberus series and brings us a year after Poppy took off with her harem of hellhounds and judges to the underworld. In this new book we get acquainted with Poppy’s former roommate, Roxanne. Roxanne has been content with falling under the radar and underestimated due to her size. However, underneath her exterior, a strong fae woman resides. The race is on to beat her sister to the Wild Hunt and a seat at the council table. Can she find the generals she has been seeking for years or will she relinquish her chance at the Wild Hunt and rights to the council seat?

Excellent Group of Stories

Everyone always loves a good story and here we have a whole group in one excellent set. While each of them have their own merit The Bride stood out to me. I fell in love with that story and couldn't put it down.

5 out 5....Intense, edge of your seat

If you are looking for that story that will be hard to put down because it is leaving you on the edge of your seat and biting your nail, this will be the one for you.

This story will take you on the ride of your life from the first chapter. By the end of Chapter 2, even I was wanting to kill a character myself because they pissed me off. These are emotions you will go through, along with our leading lady, Pria.

There are so many feeling that Pria is going thru as you read along that you cannot help but get pulled right in. You are right along for the ride and you are in no hurry to get out of the car. I promise there will even come a time when you yell at the author because of something that happens.

But will every one end up happy in the end, or will we all go crawling into our beds and burying our heads under the blankets and crying.

Until Next Time... Tabi

I received an ARC of The Bride by Rebekah Ganiere.

In The Bride, Pria is the youngest of four adult children. She does all the shopping, cooking and cleaning for the family. When her father must travel to check into some investments, he leaves Pria in charge, much to the ire of her siblings. Not only that, he tells Pria she must buy a new dress and go to the ball her mysterious new neighbor is planning.

From the moment his carriage almost ran her over, Blue has been struck by Pria’s beauty and charm. He has vowed to make Pria his, but his inconvenient ”allergy” to the sun means he can only watch over her at night until he finds her in the city and is able to show her around.

I really enjoyed this unusual twist on several fairy tale themes and I tried to guess what would happen. I won’t spoil the surprise, but there are several fairy tale tropes mixed with supernatural ones. This makes the Bride a highly inventive and satisfying story. The ending is not a cliffhanger, but leaves the door open for future adventures.

This anthology is amazing! I especially like the new story by Helen Scott. This new work by Author Helen Scott is set in the same world as her Cerebus series. Roxanne, a Fae woman, was friends with Poppy, daughter of Persephone. Roxanne is forced to participate in the Wild Hunt to claim her family's spot on the Fae council. Before she can do that, she must find her generals and keep off the forces of her twin sister, who wants her dead. Enter Iain the vampire, Connall the human, Remi the wolf shifter, and Dezi the mage. Though not the conventional generals that a Fae may choose for her generals, these men are willing to do whatever it takes to help Roxanne on her quest. As with all of Helen Scott's works, I am drawn to her characters. These characters are strong and realistic and jump off the page to have their stories told. This work appears to be the first in a new series and I sincerely hope that she continues it.

And Today I Die Review

I haven't read the rest of the stories yet so this is just a review for CM Stunich and Tate James' novella And Today I Die.

I wasn't familiar with the Baba Yaga/Vasilisa the Beautiful fairy tale so I did a little research after finishing this. I'm impressed by how much of the original story they managed to incorporate into this new version. The writing is pure Stunich and James. It's this beautiful, raw sort of prose that doesn't hesitate to delve into the odd and fantastic. I was a bit disappointed with the length of the story though. My one complaint is that this clearly needed to be a fully fleshed out story. It's just too rich and detailed to be written as a novella. As a result, it felt rushed in places and the ending wasn't entirely satisfactory. I do hope that the authors will write a full novel of this story sometime. As it stands now it's pretty good, just not the amazing quality of work I've come to expect from these two.

This review is for Forbidden by Adrienne Woods.
This is a fantastic story but I’m not going to give any spoilers this book is that good, I enjoyed the characters Collin and Ru it’s action packed with danger, suspense, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. This is not the Little Red Riding Hood that we know it’s even better, a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This review is for Red Rose by Tigress Eden and Misha Elliot.
Another wonderful thrilling fantasy by these two authors, I don’t want to give any spoilers it’s just an fantastic addition to this boxset. This story had my attention from the start and I loved Rose she thought that she was doing the right thing until it was proved differently working for Wolf. A fantastic plot and great characters I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

My review for Speechless by Madeline Freeman:

I really enjoyed this retelling of the Little Mermaid. There were so many great notes hit in the story very similar to both the Disney and Brother's Grimm version - okay minus the foam, but you know it hits the dark parts per Grimm. I'm curious as to what will come next for Ari, what the deal is with Daniel's "aberration", and if Alonzo will just leave things be.

My review for Daughter of the Hunt by Helen Scott

A fun supernatural filled read, packed with action. It does end on a cliffhanger though - but you're warned at a general ending point not to go further to avoid the cliffhanger. Clearly, I didn't pay attention :p Looking forward as to what's to come for our leader and her 4 general's.

I have finished reading Grace White's story and I am currently readying Mary E. Twomey's story (both are fabulous!). Here is my review for Of Fire and Ice:

A fantastic Reverse Harem story! Gayla was a wonderful heroine to follow on her journey in Of Fire and Ice. After four years of not knowing if her childhood love is alive, she can now go to the Kingdom of Ice to hopefully save his life and bring him home. On this quest, she is joined by her two other childhood friends, who seem to be a bit more now that they are all older, Damien and Layton. I think Damien was one of my favorite characters because his genuine care for Gayla was apparent in all of his actions. I only wish the story was longer (or more books) to explore the relationships between these characters more, especially since I loved it so much!

I only review the story Glimmer by Sharon Ashwood.
Alana finds a lamp in the boxes junk then a puff of smoke and she meets Ronan.
Alana lost her friend and fighting partner Tina after she was poisoned as the went into the ring. Recovering from her injuries she gets a job in a shop that sells secondhand stuff and buys boxes of apparent junk. It is in one of these that she finds a lamp which she takes with her when she visits Tina's grave. She rubs it to shine it up and a funnel of smoke comes out of it turning into a large handsome man who introduces himself as Ronan who offers to grant her three wishes. She refuses to make any banishes back to the lamp and takes it home. A dragon shifter romance to relax and enjoy

I thought this was a great story. I liked the idea of WOLF as and entity that you fight against. The two girls once they meet have to fight against everyone who is out to get them. I love it. You will love this story.

This was fabulous!! I loved story of the fae warrior Alana and the entrapped genie Ronan. The characters were excellent with amazing storytelling, and world building. They come together in an explosion where they can find someone to fight with and believe in. Amazing story.

I thought this was a great take on the little mermaid. It definitely had dark elements to it to bring a gritty reality that pulled you into the story more and more. I loved Aria - you couldn't help but root for her as she was pushing for a better life.

This is for A Prince of Her Own by Cailin Briste. I really enjoyed this short story and can’t wait to see how the rest of the series plays out. I just loved Brand’s character and the relationship development between him and Aileene. I also enjoyed the fantasy elements as well and I am excited to see more fantasy from Cailin.

I absolutely loved the touch of evil in this story and couldn’t get enough of the lead villain. I also look forward to seeing what other evil characters we will meet in the future.

I received a free copy of this eBook to review should I so choose. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the FTC Regulations

GLASS ROSE - This short book of Glass Rose takes us through time and place so that we find out how the Glass Rose was created and what happens to it throughout the many many years it has been
The way that the story dips in and out of the Glass Rose's story as we get acquainted with its power is a super easy way to read it's history while keeping it fresh and exciting. I loved the characters - from the original Coven to Tammy and her Granny - the characters are feisty, quirky and above all sassy! That's not to leave out Julians side of the story - but I don't know how to say why I loved him without giving out clues to spoilers! So just take it as read that I loved his larger than life character!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is absolutely amazing! I loved, loved, loved this book! The characters were great and I loved the storyline. I had all the feels reading this book and that to me, makes a really great book. Ru is awesome and I really felt for her throughout the whole book. Collin is a great character, and I really ended up rooting for him. I don't want to spoil anything so I am going to make this short. Get this book and read it. You will fall in love just as I did. I can't wait to check out more by this author. I really want to see more of this story.

This was a fantastic anthology! I love all of these authors, they are all terrifically talented, they create wonderful worlds with amazing characters and original story arcs. Such as Of Fire and Ice by Grace White, it was a great read with well written characters, world building and plot. I really enjoyed the best friends turned lovers aspect, and how the characters interacted with each other. The guys didn’t really treat Gayla any different which was perfect. And again, like with all the books I’ve read written by Grace White the character names are awesome! Gayla, Kalen, Damien and others, all great names. This was definitely an HEA book, but the journey that they take to get there is full of adventure, courage, love, heartache and magic. Definitely worth the read!

I read Speechless by Madeline Freeman and wrote this review:
This story leaves me speechless...
But, since there are readers out there who would like to know more about it, I'll try to tell you a little bit more...
I wanted to read this story, because I love fairy tale retellings. And, yes, this is a wonderful 'little mermaid'-retelling. Actually it is way better than the original. And very, very different! It is a dystopian, sci-fi, adventure story. With a Hungergames-feeling, but without the killing.
The story and its characters pulled me right in! The story, not the water.
In short: I loved it! I can't wait to read more!

Once Upon a Rebel Fairytale is a collection of stories from a wide variety of authors. Some of these are standalones, while others are part of a series. Some of these stories contain violence and/or sex so 18+. Some of these authors I am famirliar with and others are new (at least new to me). You can't go wrong with a collection like this.

One story I read was Daughter of the Hunt by Helen Scott. This is the first book in a series. It is a reverse harem story. Rox is on earth to find the four Generals she needs by her side for The Hunt. But she doesn't find them easily nor are they typical Generals. She found a mix of human, Shifter, Vampire, and Mage. What a combination! I can't wait to read more of this story.

I am still getting through all of these stories but what I have read so far I have loved. There are so many imaginative worlds created and so many interesting characters written about...I really hope some of these short stories are made into more books in a series and we get to know more about these exciting characters! So many talented authors in one exciting and captivating book - highly recommended!!

And today I Die - C.M. Stunich snd Tate James
What a talented pair of authors and this book is great. The MCs are all very different and interesting. For once I don’t have a favourite guy..they all bring something different to the story! This story keep me fully captivated and invested and I hope this story develops further...I will say the talking doll freaks me out, A LOT 😬

Tales and Time - G Bailey
This is a fantastic beginning to this intoxicating new series by the talented G Bailey. I was fully invested in Madi and what she was going through. I love the Tale brothers and want to know more about them all as this story just scratched the surface of this crazy world. I am intrigued about Quin and who he is, already have one theory! Cannot wait for more!!

Youngbloods - Carysa Locke and Lucy Smoke
This is the first book I have read by Carysa but I love all of Lucy’s books and these two talented authors have peaked my interest in the brothers and Rowan. They have really set the scene for the next book and left me wanting more immediately! Cannot wait to see how these characters have changed and developed over the time in the book and to see how they all go if they meet up again!

Daughter of the Hunt - Helen Scott
This is an exciting start to this new series by the talented Helen Scott. This book is a quick read that really starts to set the scene for what is to come next! We meet all the MCs in this book...Roxanne the feisty and powerful fae, Iain the hot vampire, Remy the shifter, Dezi the mage and Connell the doctor! All very different and all bring something intriguing to the story... loved how they are all developing their relationship with Roxanne at all different speeds, this make it more realistic!! I am excited to see what happens next and if Roxanne can win out with the Hunt and with her men. This book is full of magic, supernatural characters, action, family angst and adventure and it is highly recommended read for lovers of all things RH and supernatural!!

Of Fire and Ice - Grace White
This is a very different and fascinating story by the talented Grace White. All the characters are interesting and the world created in the book is very different to other stories at the moment! The MCs were all very different and all brought something intriguing and complex and it will be exciting to see it develop further!
