**Note-Look past the grammatical issues and language in the early addition to appreciate a great action packed story.**
This book is the beginning to a refreshingly family oriented action packed series. It has a realistic perspective of a lonely, pessimistic lady who lost all of her family at a young age and what she does when given a chance to go back and change it all. The author keeps you in time very well, whether in the 1980's or 2010's, with technological references. This book also takes on seriously what happens when you try to change the past with perilous adventure sequences.
The author balances the serious aspects of the books with humorous scenes with the protagonist's friends and her relationship with her cats. Being a dog person myself, I found stepping into the shoes of a cat lady interesting. This is definitely a book to pick up for a fun read and will keep you asking "What is going to happen next?!"
The author recently put this series in omnibus format for seamless entertaining reading.

A great plot and characters. I could almost rate books on whether I don't want to put them down when I really should be turning in for the night and this one kept me up later than I should!
Angela's dad is married to my husband's mom so I have met her once but don't really know her. He gave us the book at Christmas this year.
I love that she has made a dream a reality and wrote a great story and self published it. Reading it this way does help you appreciate editors that make the format of the book smoother as well as matching all writing style. Like I can't remember when someone is thinking is that is quotation marks...? It doesn't really matter.
