Sam had closed his latest case, and now his biggest worry was his friend Harry, who had almost died. Doctors had actually pronounced him dead, in fact, but Sam was too stubborn to let them give up and the cantankerous old man came back.
But was the case really closed? One of the perpetrators was being protected by the British government, and someone else had stepped up to replace the assassin who had been running the operation. When one of the clients from the case is kidnapped, Sam knows that it isn't really over yet.
With time running out, Sam and the team go right back into action, and this time they have no intention of letting anyone get away. They pull out all the stops and put every bit of their own hearts into putting an end to one of the most dangerous and persistent cases of their careers.

Didn't flow as well as previous Sam Prichard books. Too many off shoots & minor characters. Fleeting intro to Noah Wolf & his team, not impressed, just seemed to be justification for tame psycho, who liked to play with knives upon permission being granted. Noah being totally logical is not a patch on autistic savant, Walter. Definitely felt Sam & Co. were deprived of the end game, had Summer not made her first kill. I suppose Mr. Wolf had to be introduced to readers at some point by the author, but felt is spoilt the flow. Will not be rushing to download any 'Wolf' books in a hurry. Sam & Cassie suit me just fine.
The latest book in the Sam/Indie series was very good. The author understands the Politics and Psychology involved in the National Security World. Sam and his team realized that the Case they had previously thought was closed had some "Unfinished Business" . The client was still in danger and Sam and his team headed to New York to finish the job. While in New York Sam is contacted by The CIA to work with a special too secret unit which will also help Sam close his current contract. Great storyline and very awesome ending.
Pierre Reynard a world known assassin had been killed his plans had been thwarted by Prichard. Corporation decide Gabby would proceed with those plans and contact Hickam. His company Starburst they wanted it to merge with Web Wide. With threats if he tried to cancel the contract. Sam gets word that the UK won’t extradite Hickam, Sam now needs a confession of the killings Hickman has done. A plot that leads Prichard into the darker side when he meets Noah Wolfe as Camelot and his team. All Sam wants to do after seeing what they do is to get home to Indie and the two children. Busy plot that will keep you wondering who they are and who is behind it. Good series.
Every book in the Sam Prichard series are the best. The stories are written really well and are very believable. I just get so caught up in the lives of the characters that I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen in the next book. This book also has Noah Wolf series characters and that made the total story even better than usual!
In my humble opinion, this book was a waste of time! 75% of the book was a rehash of the previous one in the series with very little extra to offer and no intrigue! It was also very incongruous with many mistakes in writing and editing. And adding in the E & E crew at the end was also redundant for avid Archer readers. I'm usually a big fan of David Archer having read almost ALL his books, NOT this one!
This was another brilliant story with Sam and his team. Almost a continuation of the previous book but with some very exciting and interesting developments. All the usual features we have come to expect from the Sam Pritchard thrillers but with an extra bonus towards the end of the book when Sam comes in contact with E & E division. I’ll say no more except that this is DEFINITELY not one to miss.
David Archer has really outdone himself with this book. As a continuation of the last book in the series...thus the title Unfinished Business...Sam Pritchard once again proves himself to be an outstanding investigator. And a great twist at the end makes this an even more compelling read.
I really enjoyed this book. The story takes off from the last book, “Innocent Conspiracy”. We got to read about several of the team doing their “thing”. I loved the idea of putting Noah Wolf and Sam Prichard together, but I didn’t think that was developed sufficiently. I would have enjoyed both their minds at work . Sam just seemed to be there for the ride. Nice job Mr. Archer!

Excellent series...thru 17 books now....and waiting for next one!!
Everyone in these books are. Real type people...good or bad! Plots are suspenseful and thrilling. Locations are well done chases are real to life! Start with Book one and you will HAVE to keep going on to each of them...I am waiting for 18th now!! Thanks to David Archer and his team!!
This one took a little bit of time to get into, but as alwaty, Sam Prichard comes through and leaves you wondering what the next step is going to be. While this episode in the series took a different turn on the others the others, it was thoroughly entertaining. I just hope that the next one has more about Indie and his family.
This was the best book I have read. Sam and his team were at the top of their game. Harry is the life of the party and he never lets Sam side even when he's not there. I love that Ken showed up to help. Wonderful story, thrilling, and a lot of action and most of all suspense. Thank you Mr. Archer for your talent.
Sam Meets Noah and the team's combine in Unfinished business
I must admit that this story was a fine continuation of the last. One thing that strikes me is that this book picks up merely a week after the last and in essence simply continues that story. Not a bad thing. I was also interested in the introduction of the Prichard and Noah Wolf teams.
Sam Prichard has closed a murder case and is now thinking only of his friend and partner, Larry, who nearly died at the end of the investigation. Now, Sam believes someone else has stepped in and replaced the assassin. A kidnapping occurs and Sam knows it's not over. This is a highly popular, intense crime series which entertains you to the highest level. Highly recommend.
A very enjoyable read and it was great to cross paths with the Noah Wolf series.
I always like it when authors cross paths of their series lines to mix up those characters we have come to enjoy and see how they react to each other. It is a little disappointing to have to read through the explanation as if we were new and not loyal fans.
Unfinished Business (Sam Prichard Book #17; Sam and Indie Book #6) by David Archer... A supposedly closed case, a kidnapping, high stakes, agendas, time running out, and plenty of action sees Sam and his team thrown right into the fray- putting them in extreme danger. What happens makes for quite an intense read!
Another adventure with Sam and company with a assist from another character of David's name Mohan Wolf which is a unique series itself. Both story and series are outstanding with me looking forward to each new book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Actually it was difficult To put down once I started reading. The plot was always in question so you just kept reading. I look forward to the next book.
Two separate plots two separate stories. This tied into the Noah Wolf series as did Noah Wolf tie to Sam Pritchard. Editing off on this one grammatically. Looking forward to next one
Another of the "just the facts, ma'am" adventures of Sam Prichard except we get the added effect of Noah Wolf, et al. Still seems like a lot of stumbling around with maximum luck.
Both in the same book. What a treat. Both men 180 degrees opposite of each other. One an intellectual detective and the other an unemotional, resourceful man hunter. If you are a adrenaline junkie you have to read these books.
Sam and his team travel to New York City to continue the investigation. While there they learn someone else has taken the contract to kill John Morton. Sam eventually identifies Gabby and is pressed into service with an E and E team
