While on the Other Side
Abuse. Neglection. Independence. Malaki ang epekto sa buhay ng isang tao kapag lumaki sa kapaligirang hindi inaambunan ng pagmamahal. Love composes almost the whole percentage of life in general. Love in any kinds. Along in growing up is a discernment that you're not capable of the platitude affection.
Ngunit sa paggising mo isang araw kung saan napagtanto mo ang isang bagay na inaakala mong hindi mo mararamdaman kahit kailan, isang pag-unawa ang pilit kumakain sa isip. And it is thinking that you don't deserve it. You don't deserve reciprocated feelings. Because you also grew up with the thought that you don't deserve the beautiful things.
Nang makilala ni Davina si Jaxon, she knew her heart's at stake. Slowly, she let herself be engulfed with his attention. Dapat sa kanya lang ang malasakit ni Jax. She should be at the receiving end of his care and residual affection but love. She wants to hold him prisoner.

One of the best Wattpad books I’ve ever read! Hands down! My emotions went through the wringer with this one, for I found myself swooning one minute, then crying the next. It was sooooo good!

Sa lahat ng mga manliligaw, ako lang yata ang hindi naging masaya na sinagot ng nililigawan niya.
this book is very close to my heart. i loved it when i first read it and i still bleed jaxvin even after my 7th reread. blackpearled is a very exceptional writer because her writing style just hooks you in ways other authors couldn’t. this was a slowburn but still well-paced nonetheless, the turning point of the story is just a brutal and heartbreaking succession of events that it would leave you in snot and tear-stained eyes.
4 stars because the present time felt a little lacking for closure for some of the characters; and jax’s attitude felt inconsistent. we didn’t get to see several characters’ appearances (angelov’s and denver’s, specifically). i was especially looking forward to angelov’s resolution seeing as he had a very interesting arc.
still my most favorite wattpad story ever.

This ain't really a book review, but I just cannot leave without any comment.
This book (and WOTFS) is one of my comfort books. It was sooo good. It made me feel a lot of emotions and how I wish I could get a Jaxon Averell Montero in my life. If you're looking for a sign to read this, read... NOW.
