The Centurion Papers is a thrilling new series of Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Too explosive for publication, kept hidden for a hundred years... until now.

THE DEVIL'S MARK
London is ablaze with horror, and only Sherlock Holmes can save its inhabitants from the clutches of Satan himself.
A plague of ghastly deaths sweeps the great metropolis, all seemingly unrelated except for a strange tattoo found upon each victim – the mark of the devil! As a God-fearing mania engulfs the city, Sherlock Holmes must hunt the villain responsible for wreaking terror on the capital’s dark streets… before the entire country is consumed by fear and hate. When the perpetrator strikes close to home, the great detective is forced into a desperate chase that will bring him face-to-face with the devil incarnate.

A thrilling new episode in the Sherlock Holmes canon from Dr Watson’s recently discovered Centurion Papers - uncovered by The Davies Brothers, authors of 'Hudson James and the Baker Street Legacy'

The writing and even characterizations of Holmes and Watson are fine, better than in many a pastiche because neither are tedious. The plot however...could have been better. This isn't really a 3 star but it tried.
