The aliens are set to obliterate. Every Knight will be vital.
She leaves home for the academy, perhaps for the last time. Fighting back an invading race has put Earth on the radar of tyrants.
While humanity’s newly appointed space force peacekeeping branch is formed, it will be up to Emma and her band of fighters to put down the intergalactic bullies of the universe once and for all.
The final battle will begin. No one will come out unscathed.
I'm Jonathan, a husband, father, and writer. I write because that's what I was born to do and I love doing it. Because of the support from awesome people like you, I get to do it full-time.
Reading the Academy series. I started with the Gateway series, then had to know just how, when, and where Frank met Emma. I think I'm a little out of breath. That's quite a few books in a couple of weeks. No spoilers, here. Just some awesome writing, very interesting characters, and amazing action. Not all stories and happy, that's life. But there are enough relationships that develop, it makes continuing to read them a drive. At least for me. Space opera isn't my usual genre. I prefer mysteries of the past, usually. But I got bored reading some of the books I started, so it was quite a surprise to find this series in one of my recommendation e mails. I decided to give it a try and was hooked, lined and sinker-driven to read more, and more, and more. I'm hoping that these writers continue on their fascinating journey, because now, I'll read just about everything they write! Thanks...for opening my eyes and dragging me out of the past and into the future. It looks fun, dangerous, but exciting!
This book was good, and I really enjoyed this series. So not ready to tell Emma goodbye. The characters in this story were fleshed out really well. Emma is a great lead character. I started with this series, but enjoyed it so much I will have to go back and start with the beginning of the Gateway series. Looking forward to more stories from this author.
Last in the series, Yanez created a bang up ending for Emma. She progresses into a greater realization of her abilities, finds a guy who tickles her fancy, and defeats the Shay invasion! Not bad for a teenager. Great story and characters, engrossing storyline, I enjoyed the whole series!
Emma has a way of pushing her own envelope beyond its own limits. Her intense friendships across many life forms are solid and enviable. She has grown by leaps and bounds in a very short time. Looking forward to more.
Still I on knights can channel their strength of will into defensive and offensive weapons. what an amazing and exciting concept. Perhaps one of these days well see that as a reality. Wonderful book. Can't wait to see if there is another.
