Antonio Sommerio’s debut novel, “Borrowed Time” offers a little something for everyone. A bit of sex, scandal, and heroism. Romance intertwined with suspense moves you through this clever thought-provoking story of time and fate. The sci-fi undertones makes one ponder the possibilities.
The main character, Jacob, is a man who has seemed to have lost his purpose for living. His life runs in a series of rules and routines as his mourns a great loss. It is not until a secret is revealed in a treasured possession that Jacob’s path finds new meaning and responsibility. But as with any new authority, it also comes with consequences that he must quickly assimilate into his system of beliefs. Without warning, he is faced with decisions that affect the lives of friends, strangers, and his own. Travel with him on his journey from pragmatic rule follower to fearless risk-taker.
“Borrowed Time” opens the door for future discoveries and adventures of those whose fate is not held by the constraints of time. Looking forward to the next in the series.

This book is amazing! I couldn't put it down. I found myself emersed in the fluidity of this book and attracted to these characters on many different levels. The author strategically places words and phrases within the context of each chapter, that is designed to hold your attention. The ending of this book left me wanting more and more! Not many Authors possess the ability to both entertain you and mesmerize you at the same time. Captivating read!!!

Borrowed Time is a great read. I finished the book in a day because I couldn't put it down, nor did I want to. It was suspenseful and emotional in all the best ways. Jacob was very easily to relate to and I could not help but cheer him on. I hope there is a part two!
