This devotional is different from most in that it is one that touches your heart with thoughts and prayers spoken in letter form directly to Jesus. Letters that ask questions about “why” God did what He did in some of the familiar stories we read in the Bible such as the story of Paul’s conversion or even in some of the parables Jesus used for teaching purposes.
Sometimes we have a “down-and-out” kind of day and I found this devotional helps me through the day by reminding me to always look up to Him. A gentle nudge from this devotional is all it takes to remember Who is in control of my life.
I love the way this devotional was written as it made me think of all the times I felt and thought the same way as Dr. Judith Rolfs penned in presenting this devotional.
