Determined to Master by BJ Wayne is a fantastic collection of steamy and sizzling hot stories, 5 stories to be exact. You get to read about 5 longtime friends and the stories about each of those friends and how they found love. Along the way there are some serious storylines that deal with things like death, grief, disabilities, life, kink, BDSM … each story is filled with intrigue, suspense, passion, heat and love. The men who are seriously alpha and the women who captured their hearts. This was a great series and I loved every moment

Zoe and her boyfriend where coming home when they got into the accident where Bobby died and she went blind. Her shot a Juilliard was down the drain. After college she moved out on her own and went to teach at the School for the Blind. Camille was a friend of Nates and was the one to fix her up with when she wanted anonymous sex. The night was about having sex with a stranger in the dark. Nate called Camille on anniversary of Leah’s Death and he needed some release and Cammie told him about Eve though not her name as it was all about anonymous sex. Nate and Eve spend the night together and Eve couldn’t believe how hot it was all night. After a night with Eve he could not stop thinking about her. Eve had the same problem thinking about Nate but she kept remembering it was a one night .Nate wanted to find Eve but didn’t know her name until he sees her at his friend’s sport complex trying to scale the wall. He asked who she was and they told him Eve and how amazing she is since she is blind. Then it all made sense because she could not see him. He introduces himself to her and her heart started to thump because she never thought she would hear him again. Things started to heat up and Eve couldn’t believe how Nate treated her as an equal not a handicapped. Nate takes Eve with him on the his friends annual trip to Belize. Being there made Eve happy and Nate made sure she could do everything that he had planned. Eve though without sight could imagine what everything looked like by Nate’s description. Meanwhile her friend Holly got into town and immediately telling her that Nate wouldn’t stick by her because of her blindness and only she could take care of Eve. Holly at every twist and turn put Eve down but, because Holly had stuck around when Bobby died. Holly was also jealous that Eve was having a great time without her. Eve and Nate go a Gala hosted by his family where his ex came over while Nate and Eve were talking. She was horrible to Eve and then proceeds to tell her that she was not long with Nate because he never could commit.Nate set up a major piano recital at the Gala and she couldn’t believe that it had happened. Nate’s parent met Eve and were totally horrible to her and telling Nate that they couldn’t believe that he took her to the Gala. Nate was incensed how his parents treated her and told Wes to hold on while he stepped away. When Holly comes up and tells Eve she would take her around and tell her about the things to be auctioned. Holly gave her a beautiful vase to hold but as Eve stepped back she bumped into the table and the vase slipped out of her hand. Eve was feeling bad so Holly grabbed her and told her that Nate was with his ex and he looked happy. Eve didn’t know what to believe since she was close to a Holly but all of her friends including Nate could not stomach her. Well things go from bad to worse and Eve had no idea if things would ever go back the way they were with Nate.

Camille felt sorry for her sister when she was pregnant and dumped when they find out that her son Joshua was blind from birth. Brittany’s ex boyfriend had done nothing to help her in 10 years and now he was trying to take Joshua away. So Camille was going to try and get some incriminating photos on him at this sex club to help out Brittany. Camille goes to the club where she never expected o run into anyone she knew. Dec spots Camille at the bar and proceeds to introduce himself to her.

Dec was a lawyer but did pro bono work for people who he could help and didn’t have the funds. Dec was starting to have feeling for Camille. Camille came to the club the first time to get a picture of Steve her sisters ex boyfriend. Steve was trying to get custody of his son he hadn’t seen in 10years. Joshua, Bethany’s son was blind since birth and Eve was his teacher in school. It just so happened that Camille had fixed up Eve with Nate. Camille met Dec when Eve was in the hospital. Things start happening between Dec and Camille. But, he was sure she was holding something back on him and he was determined to find out what it was that she was holding back. Things become intense between them and Camille was trying to hold out and try not to fall for him. Dec wanted Camille for more than sex but she kept him at arms length. Finally giving in to her desire for Dec was more than she ever thought she was capable
of doing. Camille also began to accept his dominance over her and wanted it as much as Dec.

Shea lived with her master/husband until he committed suicide. Shea now on her own trying to get her life back together. Shea had severe OCD. Shea knew that the pain from alternative lifestyle would help her try to overcome the guilt and grief that has plagued her. Shea goes to the Warehouse because it seemed safe. There she meets Master Fin who she was attracted to but knew she could never feel the pleasure from the pain. Fin could she right away that she had the symptoms of OCD. Fin talks to her but she is still trying to keep her walls up. He figured he could give what she wanted but in the middle of him spanking her she freaks out and tells him she had to leave immediately. Fin walks her out seeing her a little calmer then when she came in. He invites her back the next night but he wasn’t sure she would show up. Shea decides to go back to the club to see Master Fin again. She plays but then after her spanking she freaks out again and Fin once again walks her to the door. A number of things bothered him about Shea that he couldn’t get figure out.
Fin starting seeing Shea’s face even when he played with Sherry. Fin was going away for a couple of days and she told him she was leaving the next day anyway. Shea decided to stay awhile as luck would have it she saw a restaurant with a sign “help wanted. Shea goes inside fills out a paper work and is put to work little does she know that Fin owns the restaurant. Walt and Carol told her that the boss was away for a week but he would be back in a couple of days. The job worked out great for her
being a line cook or a waitress. Shea said she would lock up so when hey left she started to clean all the table and counter. Fin gets back and sees
there was a light on in the restaurant so he let himself in only to find Shea cleaning the counter obsessively. Fin goes and talks with Shea she was afraid she would lose her job after last weekend. Fin was thrilled that she was there and he knew if he took it slow she would come out of her shell.
Shea gets mugged and Fin saw what was happening when he grabbed the mugger off of her. Fin decided since he had a 3 bedroom apartment he offered one room to her. Shea is warming up to Fin and it wasn’t long she was sleeping with Fin in his room. Fin winds up taken Shea back to the club after 2 attempts with her staying there with him. Fin and Shea are really starting to get into their relationship.Shea still had a secret that she couldn’t tell him yet she gets on a plane and heads back to Spokane.
Will Shea come back and tell why she left him or will he have lost her.

ALL FIVE VIRGINIA BLUEBLOOD BOOKS IN ONE
I loved these five stories and was so engrossed in the plot and the characters. Now and then, you read a book that you become enraptured into the storyline and the characters, and that is exactly what BJ Wane did with these books. What an amazing series, and to have all five Virginia Bluebloods in one book. Five stories, six hot alpha males and the five women who are strong but vulnerable. These stories are intense with plenty of passion and sizzling hot sex scenes.
Blindsided
The story is so many things; a fling turned into an affair, an adventure in living in spite of a handicap, and an underlying mystery and suspense. Learning about who really are your friends and who is a wolf in sheep's clothing? What a great cast of characters, I loved Nate and Eve together, how he opened up a new world to Eve with experiences, his friendship with his best childhood friends, and how they all played together.
The plot kept me captivated and questioning some people’s motives, and the various plot twists kept me in constant suspense. The dialog between different characters showed the clashes in personalities and friendships, sometimes heartwarming and other times sinister. As the story evolves, and little things are said, you see how evil someone can be, and you are on the edge of your seat, and the pages keep turning. In the end, with truths revealed, eyes are wide open to what matters the most.
Bind Me to You
The story is a mystery, suspense, with a mother’s love to protect her son, a woman who cares so much for her sister and nephew; she is willing to step out of her comfort zone to protect them from someone. I love how these stories have individuals with handicaps but show how capable they can be with love, support and caring people in their lives.
Camille and Dec have a magnetic draw to each other, she doesn’t trust men with her heart and is closed about her life. Dec has never been serious about a woman, but something is different with Camille. Secrets, so many secrets Camille is keeping, and Dec knows there is more to her than she is letting on. But what happens when those secrets cross a line, affect more than just them, then what happens? Wes, Dec, Nate, and Fin have a very strong bond since childhood, but the people who enter their lives became part of their family, and they take care of the family.
Surrender to Me
The story revolves around one woman, Shea Murphy, and two Masters, her dead husband, Master Gerard, and her budding relationship with Master Fin. Shea is a bright woman, is an accountant, but had a terrible childhood with so much loss, from her alcoholic mother, to foster parents that weren’t always supportive. Shea has OCD that at times has such a powerful control over her that it takes a deviation to help her cope. Fin’s younger brother, Sean, suffers OCD, so he understands, and he can help Shea with an attack. The pull and guilt she feels and is burdened with from childhood to her late husband is a constant battle.
The plot of the story is full of blame, guilt, anger, hurt, confusion, and a desire to please and trying to make amends to a deceased husband. The characters in these stories are very well developed and engaging. The way Fin deals with Shea is open and honest, but he knows she holds back, and her dead husband haunts her and is caught up in their relationship. The story keeps the majority of issues with Gerard in the background and slowly brings the truth to light, adding a touch of mystery and suspense. What will it take for Shea to quit blaming herself for other’s failures and to accept and trust Fin? The story is explicit in sex scenes including several ménage à trios scenes at The Warehouse. For Shea, she could be very open with pain and carnal delights, giving over control to Master Fin. It is her personal emotions and memories that haunt her, holding her back, like an open wound that just won’t heal until she is willing to bury her past and move forward with her future.

When we met Wes, he was involved with Katie, but their split leaves everyone confused, He won’t talk about what happened, and he was the one they thought would be marrying first. Wes is at a business meeting in downtown Richmond, at an upscale bar, he notices the lovely lady that sits alone with the deer-in-the-headlights look. When she leaves alone, he also leaves but shocked to see her enter a seedier bar, and he follows and ends up rescuing her. When she propositions him to join her at her motel, it’s a one night stand, so why not, but he tells her, it will be my way, my rules.
Charlotte Heffington, aka Charlie, has lived the most sheltered life, and at twenty-nine, she has a bucket list and plans on crossing items off and living for a change. Number one on the list, have sex with a stranger. Charlotte has always played by the rules, doing what she was told, but she wants to experience things she was always denied because of being sick and spending so much time in hospitals. To experience the most erotic night of her life to then being blackmailed, dealing with her dying father, her cousin’s threats, and then to find the man she has only known as Wes is someone she and Sister Catherine are hoping will help the Children’s home, finds her in a new situation.
The plot is full of angst, passion, new experiences, control, emotional situations and being pulled in so many directions you don’t know what to do. From being blackmailed by a family member trying to force an unwanted marriage, her passion trying to help disadvantaged children, to being blackmailed by another into sexual servitude, has Charlie being a pawn in so many games. The plot twists have you admiring Charlie for sticking to her agreement, never revealing the truth, her jubilant experiences of the simple things with childlike enthusiasm to her ultimate surrender to the passion that Wes helps her experience. The interaction and dialog of the characters are heartwarming, emotional and even entertaining. The chemistry between Wes and Charlie is explosive with passion and desire, even if they each try to deny their true feelings. Sometimes in life, you have to ignore everyone else and allow yourself the freedom to feel and experience life, love and happiness, no matter what the cost, and maybe, just maybe, in the end, you will get your happily ever after ending.
Bound By Two
Dani overhears a startling conversation in her husband’s office between him and the doctor and learns that they have been drugging her, embezzling from her families pharmaceutical company, and plan on having her committed to an asylum. In a panic, she flees Wheeling, West Virginia and finds herself in Richmond, Virginia. At night, a car following too close has her turning down a secluded street that takes her to The Warehouse; her truck won’t restart, and Masters Dale and Eli come to her aid and take her inside to get out of the cold while waiting for a tow truck. They can see her innocence in the BDSM lifestyle, but also the open curiosity. And thus, this journey of discovery begins.
Masters Dale and Eli are long-time friends from their time serving together in the military. They don’t mind sharing a woman and enjoy ménage scenes. They know Dani is hiding something and try to encourage her to talk to them. Dani was a trained veterinarian who lost her job due to being drugged by her husband, but her love of animals won’t stop her from volunteering at an SPCA, and even the Doctor there can sense Dani is keeping secrets. She can also tell that she has experience that Dani won’t reveal as to the extent of her veterinarian experience.
What will it take for Dani to open up? She makes an appointment with Master Dec and hopes the attorney and client privileges will allow her to tell what she knows, and hopefully, someone will believe her. Is her time on the run, running out of time? Will Trevor find her first? An excellent example of how important trust in a D/s relationship is more than just during a scene. Lots of mystery, suspense, along with eye-opening scenes for a newbie. The scenes are detailed, and the sex is explicit.

Blindsided: 4 stars. It's a sexy, emotional tale featuring Eve and Nate, who, after spending a hot night together, find they want more. Nate is surprised to find the woman he can't get off his mind is blind, and he sets about giving her pleasure that she's never experienced before, just the two of them and with his friends. But, when her, let's not be afraid to call it like it is, and say CRAZY friend, comes along, she manages to place an obstacle between Eve and Nate that they may not be able to overcome. I really liked this one. It's not just super steamy, the emotional connection between Nate and Eve is even stronger than their physical connection.
Bind Me to You: 4 stars. It features Camille and Declan, the owner of The Warehouse, the club Camille goes to to find blackmailable evidence on her sister's sleazy ex, who's a member there. Their relationship starts off with a tiny omission and deception, so can these two hope to make things work when Camille's lie is exposed? But not only that, can Declan even convince Camille to take the chance of having MORE with him? More than just the super hot sex they find themselves indulging in? The way Declan seems to command her submission even though she's a complete novice to the lifestyle? I liked this one a lot too, especially Declan. It's even hotter than Blindsided and flows seamlessly.
Surrender to Me: 3.5 stars. It features Fin, one of Nate and Dec's friends, and fellow Dom, and Shea, a sub who's seeking relief from her guilt over her Master/husband's suicide a year ago. Fin's the Dom in charge of newbies who are interested in The Warehouse the night Shea stops in, and he is interested in what secrets he can see hiding in her eyes. He knows there's a lot going on with her and he wants to help. He wants to play with her too, but more than that, he wants to help. Unfortunately, Shea's guilt, made so much worse by her severe OCD, causes her to run, so Fin will have to wait until their next meeting before he can set about helping her. I didn't like this one as much as the previous two, mainly because Shea was a little annoying. I loved Fin, though, and thought Surrender to Me was just as sexy as the first two installments.
Blackmailed: 2 stars. It features another of the circle of friends, Wes, and a sweet, innocent woman named Charlotte, who wants to cross things off her bucket list. When she spends a hot night with a demanding, dominating Wes, she has no idea who he is, nor does he know who she is. And when he finds out, let's just say he was a complete and total asshole about it. In fact, he's an asshole throughout the entire story and that's why the 2 stars instead of the 4 it would be if he weren't such a jackass.
Bound By Two: 4 stars. Features Dani, a woman running from her abusive husband and physician, and two more Doms from The Warehouse, Eli and Dale. I loved this one. It's short and sexy and sweet. I don't like how Eli and Dale reacted when they found out her secret, but other than that, I thought it was great.

The story starts with no lights on in the room and before you find out about her disability from the accident. Nate goes there to forget about his sister Leah's suicide that happened 3 years apart from Eve's accident. The story keeps going through twists and turns and Eve finds out that her lifelong friend Holly is responsible for the accident happening. The rest of the truth starts to come out and Holly begins to feel trapped and snaps.

The happiness of her nephew and sister is the one thing that matters to Camille. She enters
a sex club to get the goods on her soon to be ex brother- in- law. She goes inside for a one
time entry in hopes of securing photo's proving he frequents a sex club and the influence that
would have on her nephew's happiness. It takes a while to secure that photo in the meantime

Nate goes there to forget about his sister Leah's suicide that happened 3 years apart from Eve's accident. The story keeps going through twists and turns and Eve finds out that her lifelong friend Holly is responsible for the accident happening. The rest of the truth starts to come out and Holly begins to feel trapped and snaps.

The happiness of her nephew and sister is the one thing that matters to Camille. She enters
a sex club to get the goods on her soon to be ex brother- in- law. She goes inside for a one
time entry in hopes of securing photo's proving he frequents a sex club and the influence that
would have on her nephew's happiness. It takes a while to secure that photo in the meantime
she falls for Master Dec and finally enjoys herself. It can never be that simple so there are a few
twists and turns before this story ends.

The more I read BJ Wane, the more I enjoy her books. She has gotten better at her craft the more she writes, which shows me she is diligent and wants her books to be the best !
If you don't like Dominants written correctly, this probably isn't the book for you. This isn't a Fifty knock off, this is the closest you can come to being realistic. Even in a 24 /7 D/s relationship, there is a give and take, and this book shows that very well. As far as club play, that not only varies by club, it also varies by couple. I know most submissives are very open about wanting the enjoyment their Doms can give them and they love it when their limits are pushed. To say that the Doms in this book are acting in a non consensual way is pretty much saying that their submissives are gagged. There are lots of ways to stop play, no being the first one. I will admit that some of the play should have been discussed ahead of time, but at no time did the submissives not thoroughly enjoy themselves. That is the whole point of D/s play.
I loved this book. It gave me an opportunity to meet all five of these Dominants and their submissives (even though some of them didn't know they were at the time). Each story was unique which is a tough thing to do if all five stories are going to be read one after another. BJ Wane managed to make each story stand alone and she brought the characters through all of the books, instead of concentrating on just one couple for each book. I enjoyed that the most. Its always good when you can revisit with friends.
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to read about D/s and understand it better. Loved it, looking for the next BJ Wane book I can load onto my Kindle. Oh, and thanks to the author for putting them on KU.

Five stories not total. Four of the stories are about life-long friends who happened to be alpha males, bluebloods who have turned there backs on the family business, become wealthy in their own right, and find that special woman in which to share their lives.
The final book is about two Doms that accidentally come across their special woman.
There are several issues dealt with amongst the five books, but each book has an intelligent woman, each of various strength and independence, either embracing or exploring their submission. All ultimately end up in a D/a relationship whether one on one of playing in the club one of the friend 's owns.
The five books are Blindsided - Nate & Eve;
Bind Me to You - Dec & Camille; Surrender to You - Fin & Shea; Blackmailed - Wes & Charlie; and finally, Bound by Two - Eli, Dani, & Dale.
I have to say that the last two were my least favorite. Blackmailed, because Wes started off as an a$$ because of a previous bad relationship, started to behave a little better, and then pulled an assified move toward the end. This book is great value with five individual stories with a common theme.
Stories of overcoming past and presents issues so crippling at times, it does
not seem possible to survive the challenges and live life to the fullest.I could
not pick a favorite story but loved how they were all different but with a common
theme.Sexy,dominant men with heart and soul, who fought tooth and nail for
the women in their lives.I loved the suspense elements woven into each story,
it added complexity that was captivating.There were moments of hidden strength
that were inspirational as each character overcome handicaps that life had delt
them,fighting their past to reach new heights of pleasure mixed with delicious
pain.The women were insecure at first with their journey into BDSM and exploring
their deepest desires, but could never have imagined the pleasure it brought them.

When you read the title and description of a book, you go in with certain expectations. "Virginia Bluebloods," so look for arrogant men who think they can buy anything they want. Check! "Determined to Master" so look for some kinky sex with D/S themes. Check!
What I didn't expect was strong, intelligent characters who developed as the story progressed and grew on me as a reader. I did not expect a prolonged, well developed plot that drew me in and made me reluctant to put the book down. And I did not expect the profound sense of satisfaction in a solid HEA.
And that was just the first book in this multi-book collection.
This one exceeded all my expectations and in a decidedly good way. I cannot recommend it enough. Enjoy!

Wow what an awesome set of books to read, five stories all in one. Blindsided, Bind me to you, Surrender to me, Blackmailed, Bound by two, and i loved each one.
I have to say i have read a few of BJ Wanes books before, but none of these, so when i got the chance to read the ARC i jumped in both barrels, and i can tell you to the people who arnt sure... Its a winner it really is. Men who have been friends for a very long time find their very own special ladies, ones that are venerable and tough will submit to their dominance and will love them for who they are. These men have a protective streak a mile wide.
Thank you for writing such beautiful books i certainly would give well over five stars if i could.

Each of these 5 books were amazing reads. The complex story lines. Spanking and BDSM one or both play a part in the books. The men are strong, dominant, experienced lovers, who didn't expect a lasting love in their lives. The women all have things to overcome in some way, but are independent strong women.
I couldn'the put each book down until finished and did not eat to wait between books but did take break to watch my grand baby for awhile, then went back to my next book.
We get a taste of blindness, jealousy, loss, starting over, committed friendship, sharing a lover with a friend and a true menage.
You will be captavated by these stories they are a must have for any collection.

These five books were entertaining and engaging, covering a variety of topics from disability to blackmail and extortion. It adds to the fantasy of course when we are dealing with rich playboys and they seem to have as many insecurities as the rest of us. These books are sexy and romantic and although some is based around the BDSM community not all of our heroes are as fully immersed in the lifestyle as others. Having said that there is plenty of voyeurism and other kinky sexy stuff going on.
The first four books concerning four long term friends were really good but I have to say the final book with Dale and Eli, members of Dec's BDSM club seemed rather rushed and the back story was beyond lacking, on its own I would have only given it 3 stars which is a shame as I really liked the characters.

As with her other books, Ms. Wayne made the BDSM lifestyle center stage for the stories.Storng people, but with issues. Here a group of five wealthy men, born to their wealth, but finding their own way, often in opposition to their families, find the one to be with. But their friends have their own problems and issues. The lifestyle - not just the sex - helps them to overcome barriers and face their problems head on. In many ways this book reminds me of her series of "Miami Masters".

I really enjoyed each and every book in this 5 book box set of the series Virginia Bluebloods. Highly erotic and sensual with strong alpha males and the women strong enough to love them. Considering the length of this set I read through all of them quickly, turning the pages almost frantically. I became deeply engrossed and invested in each of these characters. I highly recommend giving this series a try. I think you will find it very worth your time and money.

This wonderful collection contains all five books in the Virginia Bluebloods series. Each book is hot, steamy, dramatic and intense and suspenseful. These BDSM romances have well written storylines, compelling characters and powerful emotions, alongside some serious topics like, grief, guilt, living with a disability and living life to the fullest. I just loved these dominate men and the women that captured their hearts. Entertaining and extremely enjoyable! I am voluntarily posting a honest review.

A story to loose hours enjoying reading.
I read each of these books in this wonderful series separately and loved each one. They are brilliantly written and described. All the characters are very well done. There are plenty of different elements to hold the reader's interest. I am envious of a reader finding this box set, they will be able to read them all together. Lucky them!! I had to wait for each new book to come out. I highly recommend this interesting and enjoyable story.

Having not read the original Virginia Blueboods Series, this boxset was a really great read. The blurb says it all, but what it called to mention was the chemistry between these alphas and the women they fall for. Each of the stories was well written, well paced, and you really can’t go wrong.......this is available free with your KU subscription!!

Romance, suspense, drama and BDSM, what's not to love about this book? Have I mentioned the great characters that abound in this set of books? I originally caught up with some of these books when they came out individually but gladly got this compilation to catch up on what I missed out on. All of these books can be read completely standalone, but as characters are introduced they will continue to be mentioned in the other stories - just like any friendship. All of the stories are worthwhile but I would have liked to see more of Eli & Dale. This is a fantastic compilation and definitely worth reading.

5 Delicious Scenes

These stories were not solely a lesson in the gratification of the "club" scene but a way to enlighten the reader in difficult or troubling issues in life. A series of stories, each better than the one before it which seems an impossible task. Delicious Doms each falling for a woman who needed their strength, humor, and love. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is a good read and a nice long one too. A story of new and old friends, loyalty that comes with long years. Learning someone's reality, their past, their strengths and weaknesses. Their capacity for love and for pain. A BDSM romance with a mystery. Spanking, anal , multi-players with an innocent who accepts all challenges.

I first read the Miami Masters series and really enjoyed the characters in that series and was thrilled to find that there are more delicious stories from this author. I was so excited to see that there was a box set of the Virginia Blue Bloods series. This is a great way to meet the six alpha males in this series.

This was a very well written collection and I loved every single second of it. Although I enjoyed some characters more than other the books were well worth the time invested in reading them. The hotness is off the charts and the books will leave you fanning yourself and asking for more.
