Paul Williams is an Irish crime journalist, and author of crime exposes depicting the rise and fall of some of Ireland's most notorious and brutal gangs and criminal figures.
An interesting beginning to setting up of Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau, and fight against the crime. After few chapters I got all mix up with the amount of money criminals had, that's scary.Good to read once and have some knowledge.
A fascinating account of the events leading upto the setting up of Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau and the subsequent struggles to fight against the organised crime fraternity and underworld mob bosses, a definitive history of modern gangsters and crime lords of Ireland with in depth background into the major crime players and if and how they were eventually caught out. A great read and a fascinating insight into a life of crime and how for a time the criminals eluded the law.
I thought this book was very well researched...I don't think that Paul William is a good writer tho, a lot of spelling mistakes, I had to re-read sentences several times to try and figure out what the author was trying to get across but i found it this book very interesting.
