The Author attempts to provide an understanding on how terrorism arises and how it functions. The book discusses theories of analysts, focusing on the threat of terrorism and the basic security issues surrounding terrorism.

This book is written as a text book and should be used as study guide for the classroom. It is written with a definite bias by the author who pushes his own agenda on every page.
