Sophia Summers is an award winning author who just wants to relax a little and enjoy a great beach read. She lives in a quiet southern town brimming with an extra dose of hospitality and a whole lot of charm.
She writes historical romance under a different name. The Billionaire Royals is her first contemporary romance series.
Daniel discovers Melodia through the eye of his camera, but he's instantly captivated by the layers of beauty he sees. Melodia is a top runway model and, while confident in her outward appearance, she is longing to be appreciated for more than just her visible beauty.
They both are dedicated to protecting the beach and surrounding park, despite the growing demand that the land be used for a resort. It is while working together on this shared project that they each learn the deeper attributes of the other, allowing for a romance built on more than just physical attraction.
Like the third book, this romance has a strong emphasis on preservation of the environment. While Torren is a fictional island locale, the way these real-life issues are dealt with in this series gives me hope that if there is a similar nation in the Mediterranean, they are taking similar measures to protect their natural assets.
The heart of this romance addresses a need that everyone can identify with - the desire to be loved and valued for one's true inner self, not just for one's status or appearance. This beautiful story gently conveys this sweet message through Daniel and Melodia's love story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
A wonderfully fun well written fast sweet romance that's not only built on physical attraction but brains and personality. Daniel and Melodia meet for the first time when she is emerging from the sea and he starts capturing her beauty with his camera. She demands he deletes the picture but it starts a friendship that is sure to bloom. With a good message for others they start the mission of saving Torren Park, the beach and surrounding park from the demand of being developed into a resort. The romance and storyline move at a smooth pace with love and misunderstandings with twists and turns as the desire to be loved and valued for ones true self instead of physical appearance while saving the park. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC within the series of the brothers.
I love Royal stories and this short story ranks right up there with the best. The author's writing style makes the words sing off the pages and draw the story in my mind's eye. Finding story lines to write about in the 5th book of a series that highlights one of the six royal brothers is a challenge, tying their lives together but yet giving the H a credible story. There were only a small handful of proofreading typos, which I greatly appreciate for a smooth read, and the story was clean, only kissing, for those who prefer that type of story. I look forward to reading more of Sophia Summers books. as she now ranks high on my Whitelist.
A chance encounter on the beach has Daniel Valdez's camera shutter working at top speed as a beautiful woman emerges from the sea. Melodia Harper. They end up working together to save a beloved Torren Park from commercial development. All her life Melodia has just been a beautiful face. Now she has a chance for more. Daniel falls in love with her beautiful mind as well as her beautiful face. After living out her dream as a top design house model, Melodia returns to Torren to become Daniel's wife.
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Daniel found beauty in so many things through his camera lens. He unexpectedly snapped photos Melodia that were so beautiful to the both of them but she was furious with him taking her picture without her permission. They ended up teaming up to work on a project for Torren and fell for each other. They took their time and now they're in the process of planning their wedding.
Another entertaining book about the Valdez children - the royal family of Torren. There are six brothers and one sister who are each meeting their significant other in each book. Each story is unique and you don't have to read the books in order but I think you might get more pleasure of you did. A group of entirely different woman is found by each prince. These are very clean romances for any age that I would recommend. Vicki from Wyoming
This is book 5 of the Billionaire Royals series. Prince Daniel meets an exquisite woman that he can't get out of his mind. The direction this relationship takes is a classic love story with some thorns along the way. The characters are great and the story deals with important issues as well. I highly recommend it along with all the previous books in this series!
The Prince is a fun book to read. It does address some serious issues along the way. The main characters are well-developed. The story moves along at a good pace with twists and turns. I plan to read more of Sophia Summers' works. I would recommend this to readers of sweet romance.
Nice idea, to mix high profile characters with more down to earth and community minded interests. Liked the two main characters, but somehow it lacked something, for me. Didn't really 'connect'. A good story though
Well written, but the characters felt flat. I didn't connect to them at all. He has no character arc that I can tell, and hers is there but barely dipped into. Didn't feel any reason for them to be drawn together (other than their mutual hotness?) or fall in love.
The Quiet Prince who loves photography finds beauty as she comes out of the ocean. She wants someone to see she is not just beauty on the outside. A sweet romantic story.
This was a unique storyline. She's a model who thinks her face is all she is good for and a prince who sees more than a pretty face. Together they advocate for the same cause.
I enjoyed reading a book that had issues in it that dealt with things that matter with our earth today, The environment is something that my granddaughter and I are both very concerned about we are also artists, So I loved the art side in the book. I laughed out loud, to loud during remote school in fact, while reading this book at the snarky way our Melodia handles Prince Daniel. It is just perfect and one I could imagine seeing on a certain American actress/model's face. I look forward to reading more in this series and also catching up on the other books that I have missed out on.
