This installment features Carter, an evangelist preacher who has a taste for sin. Seriously, this man is as much a man of God as Hannibal Lecter. He is a womanizing dirt-bag who gives Bay a run for his money. His world is slowly crumbling as his congregation tires of his neglect and string grows too long for him to control any of them. Hearing of Justin's death and Brandy's windfall he hatches one last plan to get his hands on enough money to make his problems go away. There are just two things standing in his way - Bay and Brandy.

Meanwhile, Darek has his own problems. Their only non-Zodiac suspect seems less and less likely and his only hope is to find out where Ken Sin got his information about the killings. He calls Carter for an assist, but things go wrong when Ken supposedly kills himself. Then someone is killed at Raven's house, and things heat up again for Darek and Lily. On top of everything else, Max is acting extra strangely.

I will allow you to find out the rest for yourself. It ain't over yet. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Here we go! Now we are really starting to get somewhere with this killer. We learn a lot in this book, I finally feel like the series is picking up.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. My god there is so much going on with this series and freaking love it. You are enthralled in another story and we are following Carter, a preacher who isn’t truly a man of god so per say, he likes to take a walk on the wild side. He’s in trouble with his church and is looking for a way out and hooks up with Bay, but can you really trust Bay? Darek in search of answers regarding Ken Sin and asks Carter for help, but will that prove to be more dangerous than helpful in the end. Then we have Max who isn’t quite acting like himself lately, so we have to wonder just what’s going on with him? Is he part of all this? These ladies have kept me on the edge of my seat through this series and I expect nothing more from them, this series is gripping, spine tingling good and you really shouldn’t miss out on this series.

I don’t know if this will be popular opinion or not, but I really enjoyed Carter. I thought he was a fantastic character in this book. I loved watching him trying to wriggle out of trouble with the church. He is so far the opposite of a “Godly” man that I found his character to be a hoot! I was also very happy to see more of Bay in this book. I can never get enough of that guy! As far as Darek goes, I’m still having a hard time with Lizzie forgiving him for what he did with Rayven. Still though Darek and Lizzie are also good characters and I cannot wait to see what develops in the next installment of this series.

Holy smoke, so much happens in this book I’m still processing all the information. W L Knightly does it again and absolutely smashes it. This one is about Carter the pastor, he’s in trouble at the church and goes on a road trip with Bay. Bay obviously has his own agenda. Derek and Lizzy are still on Ken Sin’s case. I’d had my suspicions about Max for some time now and I think he’s playing some part in all of this, not many more books to go and I can’t wait to read them

Another Fabulous Page Turning Episode
This is the ninth book in the Zodiak Series killers by W.L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] .  This series started off to a wonderful start and had me finding it difficult to put the book down.  I'm now at the stage that I'm sitting on the edge of my seat and wishing the months away to find out who the murder actually is and why they really started on this murder spree.  Derak is still on the hunt for our killer and is looking into the mega church and our Zodiak Leo, Carter Hamilton who is a major part of the mega church in San Diego.  He's doing well but when it seems as if he may have to dig into his own pocket to keep afloat  he decides that an easier way is to blackmail Brandy instead.  Derak and Lizzie are now back together - thank goodness but things aren't great with his partner, Max, after what happened between him and Lizzie.  This is so much more than one 'mere' serial killer.  The depth of layers to this very complex plot are fascinating and frustrating to me at the same time as I desperately want to know who it is but I don't, in  a way, want the series to end as it is just so BRILLIANT.  W.L. Knightly  is a superb writing team and I can't think of any that could surpass them  I wish that I was even half as eloquent as our authors so I could express how much I am enjoying and love their writing .  Fabulous characters that are developing and storylines that are simply mind boggling. This is a must have read and you need to get it NOW.  I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MUST HAVE READ - Definitely Recommended

The Plot Thickens!!!

I love this series!!! The plot thickens and the web is so tangled you're not sure who will be left standing and who won't. It's not only the Zodiacs that are falling either. Bay has his hands full now that Mia has come home and something has changed with her. Darek thinks the fine line he walks between his job and the Zodiacs is getting wider with Ken Sin in jail, but it's only going to get thinner. Popular evangelist Carter Hamilton, our Leo, is far from Holy and is falling from Grace at a rapid speed. With Justin's death Carter has come up with a plan to come into a pile of money from Brandy and that will make his problems go away. Remember that saying "be careful what you wish for"? Darek and Lizzy are back together but Derek's partner Max is acting off especially now that Darek knows what happened between Max and Lizzy. Bay is getting closer to finding out who Betty is, and I have a theory but I have a feeling something is going to happen to change that. Time is running out, this is book nine and there is only twelve signs with only three left. I can't wait for Virgo but I'm looking for this series to end. It is best to follow this series in order to get the full impact of each sign. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an adventure, these books are chock full of winding roads full of detours and twists.

i read this book as part of an arc program. In book 9 of the Zodiac Killers series, Bay is still looking for Mia and thinking the killer got her. Darek has to question Ken Sin after he hit Lizzie and their supervisor sent her away fro a few days. Darek asks Carter to come to New York to help him question Sin to see if he knows anything more about the killer. Justin was found dead and Bay learns there is a will and Brandy is going to be very wealthy. Bay sees an opportunity there. Carter is a preacher who is known for his womanizing ways and since he was owed money from Justin, he wants Brandy to pay it, and then some. Carter is being questioned by the church elders about his spending and rumors about other women, so he wants more money to pay everyone off and start over. When Carter goes to Bay to ask to go with him to see Brandy, Bay has to wonder why. I love this series and the more i read, the more i think i have it figured out, but there are always more twists to change that. This series will keep you guessing and wondering who is going to live and who will die next. I can't wait for the next book.

This book centred on Carter who is the Leo in the Zodiacs. He is a pastor who has a prolific tendency to seduce women from his parish.
Detective Liz seems to change personas in this book and seems to become more of a quiet person who tends to let Derek lead the investigation instead of leading it herself.
There is no clues or indication with regard to the killer in this book. Although there seems to be somewhat of an idea of who could be connected to it. I wonder if my guess would be right of not.
The books lately seemed to concentrate more on the lives of the person the book centres on rather than moving the story forward.
I hope in the next book the story moves forward instead of having the same repetitive events happening.
Not very interesting read but hoping the story moves forward in the next book.
I received an ARC from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. This is my honest review.

Leo, Book 9 of the Zodiac Killers Saga, a “5” ⭐️ star read!

Wow! They’ve gone & done it again. It’s another winner!!! Ali & Lexy have teamed up to give us intriguing stories that are part of a twelve book series. I’ve been hooked on this series since the very first book & I’m so looking forward to reading the remaining few. If you’re looking for an amazing series, then the Zodiac Killers is it. The storyline flows from book to book & Leo is no exception. There are so many twists & turns, ups & downs, it’s like riding a never-ending rollercoaster. The characters are life-like, so much so that you forget this is fiction. Be sure to use your “one-click” purchase button & add the first eight books to your personal library. I highly recommend you read this series in the order it was released in, I guarantee you won’t regret it.

I received an Advance Review Copy (Arc) of this new release & I am voluntarily giving my honest review.

All I can say about that ending is “wait? What?” I maybe should have seen that coming, but it was a little out of left field. And so ends the spoiler-y portion of this review. The review itself almost needs to end here to avoid any real spoilers. If you’ve ever heard the song "Jesus He Knows Me" by Genesis, then you have a really good idea of who Carter Hamilton is. This book takes us deep into his sordid life. And for a while feels a bit like it’s pulling away from the zodiac mystery, since Bay and Carter seem to be the main focus rather than the police trying to solve the murders. I don’t know that I can say this book answered any of the questions I had, but it certainly opened up a bunch more. I’m nearly dying to know what happens next.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

Always a great story : I loved hating Carter.
Spoiler from book 8
The series is still exciting, although there is a little less turnaround than in the previous part, but it's a part in which the suspects evolve with new clues, new deaths.
This is essentially the story of Carter (Leo). He's a depraved pastor, manipulator, TV star, who doesn't hesitate to convince women to sleep with him for their redemption. Like Bay, he's sure Brandy murdered Justin and he wants to take advantage of what she done.
The other characters (Lizzy, Raven, Max) continue to reveal themselves, adding information about the past days, the links between them. The Zodiac killer investigation goes in various directions, leaving out what happened in Virginia (or at least that seems to be)

Leo focuses on Carter Hamilton the famous preacher with his numerous fans from his TV sermons.
The author has written a fabulous series based on the Zodiac. This book Leo carries the story line on as more deaths are piling up. Answers to questions from previous books go unanswered and more questions and clues or lack of clues are left for the readers to ponder. Questions like will Detective Blake and FBI Special Agent Lizzie be able to be together at the conclusion of the series, who will be left from Camp Victory original group, what is the fate of Raven, can NYPD have a traitor in their midst, who is Betty? So many shock and awe possibilities to consider. This book and previous books of this series are first rate and I highly recommend WL Knightly's books.

This series is Amazing! It continues to twist and turn and leave you on the edge of your seat. If you like suspense, this is it in spades. This story is the Leo story which is focused on Carter, who fits all the cliches about "man of god". He's slimy, out for himself and always on the look for another "Give to Carter" need. His followers are getting tired of his ways and tightening the purse strings but Carter has another play.

We've got murder, mayhem and a twisty turning story that will keep you guessing. You DO need to start at the beginning. I think if I had picked it up here, I'd miss so many nuances. And a warning: Every time you think you know what's going on -- you'll be wrong! Highly recommended!! (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Holy heck! I love this series! A nail-biting page turner that keeps you on edge as the twisted suspense filled pages draw you into the head shaking mind boggling drama feeding off every word trying to get a grasp on were the story is going and trying to pick up on the slightest hint as to who the killer is as each new bomb is dropped sending you into a flurry trying to soak in as many pages possible before you left reeling as the words stop coming yelling Noooo give me more! An addictive must read that gets under your skin and continues to bug the heck out of you long after the last page has been read! I LOVED IT!

Another suspect emerges in this installment.

Bay Collins is - as usual - up to nothing good, but is his need for control the thing that will put him over the edge? Carter Hamilton is no longer the golden boy at his church. Is he desperate enough to kill to remain in the church's favor? Darek Blake finds himself suspecting someone he never thought of. Is he the next victim?

So many questions, but there's still a few more books before everything comes full circle again.

This book really kept me on tenterhooks, wondering what was going to happen, and who would be the next victim. Full of suspense and mystery, it was a very good read!

Wow, this series just gets better and better. Fantastic characters and plot, plus the usual high standard of writing.

This book focuses on Carter, a man of the cloth who is a liar and a cheat, and very dislikable. Darek and Lizzy’s relationship is growing stronger, though a run in with Raven leaves Lizzy feeling vulnerable and Darek on the back foot. Finally, what is up with Max??!!! So many questions that I just can’t wait for the next book.

A fantastic, fast-paced read...I think I need a lie down!! If you haven’t started this series give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

Provided with a free ARC for an honest review. Another great installment in this very interesting series. The bodies keep piling up. There are more suspects, more victims, some innocent, some not so much, and more questions. Carter is a sleazy televangelist, married but fooling around with several women in his congregation. Bay is back trying to manipulate everything. Brandy is back waiting for her inheritance. And of course Darek is frantically trying to solve the murders, while dealing with his love affair with Lizzie. Very enjoyable series and one I wholeheartedly recommend.

This was another nail-biting page turner in this series! I loved Carter’s character and was happy to see more of Bay in this one. There were so many twists I didn’t see coming in this one and I’m going crazy about what will happen next. I can’t believe we already came so far in this series. I don’t want this series to end although at the same time I can’t wait to find out if my theory about the killer is correct!

Carter is a creep, but so are the other zodiacs . that seem to be fewer and fewer . A shady preacher who couldn't keep it in his pants and would do anything to fatten his own wallet . He himself get tangled within the web ,but is it one set by the Zodiac Killer ?
Leo was exciting !
Tons of suspenseful twists and some characters get exposed for who they really are.. ..im keeping a watchful eye on one character .I'm not naming who though.
Cant wait for the next installment .

The Sins of the past, present, and future come out in a big way during this stop in the plot twisted rollercoaster of heat, murder, mystery, and fear.
With the Zodiacs dropping like flies, the tension surrounding the group is high!
I am in deep! The intricate detailing, character development, and continuation thus far have been stellar, holding my attention for the duration, keeping my mind going with plenty of theories salivating for the next book!

This series has had me sitting on the edge of my seat, with each new book i find myself more intrigued as to who the killer is. This book has yet again left me wondering who it is killing of the men and their loved ones. Derek is getting deeper and deeper into this case but will he find out who is killing of his friends before it's too late, Will Bay collins come out alive or will the killer get him next. I can't wait for the next book highly recommend this wonderful series

With each and every book, I keep thinking that there is no way to out-twist and out-do that book’s ending. And yet, every time, without fail, the Zodiac Killers series manages to shock and surprise me. We knew that this book was going to be extra twisted and extra lethal, as it stars the Leo of the group, the charismatic and cunning celebrity preacher Carter. If you thought Bay was a bad boy, wait til you meet Carter. And, of course, Darek’s life is still moment by moment chaos.

Absolutely love this series!!!! I keep thinking I figured it out but it continues to throw me off base. Love it!! It definitely keeps you engaged with each page, which I can't seem to turn fast enough. This series is one of the best series I've ever read. It has it all - twists and turns, suspense and thrills, romance, lust and love. The writing and character development are unbelievable. Cannot wait for the next one.

Outstanding! I still don't haven't figured out the killer. But I do have a list of suspects that continues to get smaller with each new book in this series. This book, this series has kept me on my toes and slammed me head first into the depraved nature of man. Whatever the case may be, I'm hooked and this is getting better and better. All I can say is trust no one.

In this book the mystery isn't solved. Who is the zodiac killer?
Darek has the possibility to prove himself, always walking on a fine line.
This book is filled with mystery, suspense, intrigue. We're almost at the end but it's always a pleasure to read this story one cheaper at a time! The whole series is absolutely recommended!

Our Leo is Carter, an evangelist who isn't as clean and innocent as his followers are led to believe. This series just keeps on twisting and turning, and we're still no closer to figuring out who the bad guy (or bad guys) might be. Darek, meanwhile, finds himself with more complications in his life. I will be so disappointed when this series ends!

I really enjoyed Leo which was about Carter! He's a preacher who thinks he can do no wrong. I was really surprised with this one but at the same time I have the killer narrowed down to 3 people. Knowing my luck, I will be way off 😂. Can't wait for the next installment!!
