Celebrating twenty-five years of the Boston Poetry Slam at The Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, MA, includes 155 poems by 86 poets who have graced the stage, represented the venue at National and International competitions, tended bar, hosted, or worked the door. The poems were selected by long-term members of the community based on which poems that would want to own copies of.

In addition to biographies, the book includes testimonials from poets, explaining why they believe other writers in the anthology were important to include. There is also an index of every team and individual representative of the venue, as well as a listing of The Working Girls: the poets who have made the show happen since 1992.
