I enjoyed this short summary of Celtic mythology. My favourite was the three swans of Ireland, though I had heard it before. It does go through each myth quickly and it is quite informative. I quite enjoyed it.
I have also recently listened to Greek Mythology by the same author, and find this one, about Celtic Mythology, just as fascinating! Lots of info into legends and lore of Celtic Mythology. It's a fascinating read/listen, and I learned a lot, and want to know more! It's not overly long but gives you some great info for the curious, and it allows for deeper exploration into this fascinating world. Enjoyed writing and narration, would definitely listen to more by both! :) I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Audible:This was a good listen! It is amazing to hear stories of how people explained things in the early times.Oliver Hunt was a fine narrator.I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.
Got bored. Was hoping for more discussion of the gods and less of the heroes. But the hero narratives would have been okay if they hadn’t been written so flatly. Basically zero narrative flourish which made for bland reading.
