Rate this book
Possessing a tremendous array of paranormal abilities, Julian Blessing has returned to the peaceful village of Cappel Vale.
Below the surface, however, a secret is harbored – a secret that involves a heinous crime from the distant past and its present-day punishment. Julian is stymied at every turn when he sets out to find a murderer.

An unusual cast of eccentric characters is sworn to keeping Julian from learning the facts of the case. As much as Julian wants the truth, they are resolved to make sure he doesn’t get it.

Julian’s teacher, mentor and friend, Moira Hagan, has thwarted the plans of an organization whose objective is the enslavement of humanity.

Their leader is John Clarke – a man who is pledged to making sure the human race never learns the truth of its birthright, regardless of who gets in the way or who dies.

Right now, Moira Hagan is in the way.

Read this book!
Mr. Ryan really delivers a satisfying conclusion to the Echoes Quartet. His gift of writing dialog once again brings the reader right into the community of Cappel Vale and among the characters, who must now be familiar and beloved friends to anyone who has read any of the first three books. If one hasn’t had that pleasure, the village folk will soon become friends as you are drawn into this intricate tale. I am betting after reading Echoes and Light, anyone who hasn’t read the first three will want to start the series from the beginning and read all four books.
I literally had to slow myself down from reading in order to remain emersed in the story a little longer. As much as I couldn’t put this book down, I didn’t want it to end too quickly. But when it does conclude, the reader is rewarded with a wonderful ending to a saga that while unbelievable is woven to be truly possible.
