Rate this book
Three FULL LENGTH (808 pages) of the BestSelling Series. This box set includes the three MAIN books of the SGS that follow Makoto Heart's journey to self-discovery as she walks into a whole new world with her star knights at her side. DARK WISH (BOOK 1 in the Starlight Gods Series) What do you get when you add free and dumb? FREEDOM My name is Makoto Heart and I’ve always wished for a chance at freedom. Every day, I prayed before the Starlight gods, asking for their divine assistance in accomplishing such a difficult task. Being an experiment for as long as I can remember, my hopes of obtaining freedom have diminished, drastically. The disappointment haunted me, as myself and my spirits struggled to survive. I had no hope left, believing my final plea fell upon deaf ears, yet again. But what happens when my prayers are finally answered? I’m thrust into fulfilling a destiny, with the help of six star knights. Suddenly, I am no longer experiment 555, but the stolen princess of Heila. Freedom, how you have teased my troubled soul. May the Starlight gods guide me and my knights, on this path towards the unknown. ~In Stars We Trust~ TAINTED ROSE (BOOK 2 in the Starlight Gods Series) I failed... My name is Ryder Carter, future heir of Realm Five, Minato. I was destined to do great things, to walk alongside my fellow star knights, as we desperately searched for the woman who would lead our galaxy to salvation. My spirit and I had failed her once, unable to prevent the chain of events and challenges she’d faced for sixteen cycles. Then, we finally found her - alive. Within two rotations, she'd blossomed into a beautiful rose - such delicate petals, filled with purity and life. My mission was to guide her home, to where she truly belonged, as our Princess and savior from the approaching darkness. She was more than just our Princess; I loved her with all my heart. But...I failed. My once perfect rose, damaged by my failures. Would she ever forgive me, her star knight who'd sworn to protect her? Will I ever get the chance to tell her how much she means to me...to us? Only the Starlight gods can tell. Please...bring my Firefly home. ~In Stars We Trust~ POISONOUS DREAM (BOOK 3 in the Starlight Gods Series) Don't you sometimes wish that everything was just a dream? My name is Daniel Moore, future heir of Realm Ten, ArchAilennia. I've never felt regret like this before, such turmoil clinging to my very soul. I had vowed once long ago to never endure such pain and torment. Yet, such a vow has already been broken and this time, it's to someone far more dear. My princess is everything to me. She's my light when the shadows attempt to cloud my way, my beacon of hope when doubt aims to cripple me, and now she's my greatest sorrow because I can't face her. To look into those hollow, turquoise eyes and realize I'm the cause of such agony breaks my heart. Could she forgive me for my error of judgment? Would she even glance my way for the pain I've made her endure? Only time will tell. ~In Stars We Trust~

If you haven't started this series yet. Why haven't you ?
If you love RH genre, this series is a must read. I wished I discovered this series earlier as adored every character the author has given us. I started of with this series and I loved Mako from the moment I met her. Her star Knights are easy on the eyes as well which definitely helps . They aren't two dimensional characters. They guys come with emotional and physical scars. Their stories will haunt you. Their escapades will have experiencing all the emotions. They live for Mako and it shows

It's addicting and I can't get enough of the gang. Whilst there are countless of possibilities , Wilson knows what she is doing and she keeps delivering all the moments that readers want in this series.

These books will give you all the feels.
This is the perfect starter bundle containing the first three book in the main storyline and they are jam packed. IF you are looking somewhere to start with Wilson's books, this bundle will be a great place to start.
As Mako is infectious and once you meet this woman you are going to fall in love like I did. And I can’t still get enough. This box set keept me entertained for hours and I didn't get bored. Wilson employs the right balance and knows how to deliver a moment. I could go on forever and go into details about everything I love about this series but seriously just pick these books up if you haven't and join the other readers who have fallen in love with this series

This lovely box set contains the three main books to the Starlight Gods series so they can be binge read all in one fell swoop while saving us readers a little bit of money. Book one introduces us to Mako so we can get to know her better and then moves into her rescue back to the world she should have been in. Cliff hanger ending so it's great that book two is already there so we can catch up with what happens next until we hit the traumatizing end of it too. Book three is just full of emotional and physical struggles the group must overcome but just as things are looking up there is a surprising ending that sets the stage for the next incredible book in the series. If you like fantasy RH with great world building and some truly amazing characters you should really try this set. I really enjoyed all three books so I give it 4/5 stars.

Thoroughly addicting and unique....we begin with a young girl roughly eight years old trapped in a facility of cruel physical and mental experimentation. She has multiple shifter spirits within her....forced to.play mind games by their "Boss" she endures heartbreak, pain, torture and sees her only friend in the world murdered before her eyes. Forced to comply by a mark the Boss placed on them all, everyone in the facility is at his mercy. Next time we meet her she's twenty something and held in a room manacled to the wall. Apparently due to sleepwalking, the "Boss" lady friend demanded she be chained up to stop her wandering. Her only friends left are the ones in her mind....Her spirit shifters.....happily talking amongst themselves the facility is rocked by a blast and some hot.men break into her room. Is she hallucinating to try and remain sane, or is this really happening? The visions before her answer her as apparently she spoke aloud and not in her mind....they claim to be here to rescue her. But WHY would anyone want to rescue her? Granted she doesn't recall anything prior to age six, and Was told she had no family and was nobody. Plus after sixteen years of torture and mind games....if she did have people who loved her wouldn't they have come for her before now? These guys promise her answers but say she must come with them now. This series is filled with sooooooo much excitement, betrayal, political intrigue, crazy deception, secrets galore and magical things. A lost princess found , but has to find who she is within. So many hurdles to jump, and barriers to cross....she finds her own little band of family. Dive into the start of this truly exciting series and discover each yummy layer....I. couldn't put this down, and look forward to reading the others in this series. Three cheers for this cheeky, quirky princess and her guys.

Spoiler free – but first, let me start by saying, if you are looking for a book series that is all happy endings and rainbows, this isn’t the book series for you. Out of all of this author’s book series, the Starlight God’s series, Makoto’s books, are the ones that hit hardest. There are light moments, yes, but in all, these books are darker, grittier, and they are going to wrench at your feelings until you are dragged down. And when you feel like you can’t take it anymore, you’ll get picked up and reminded about love and hope. This book series isn’t for the faint of heart – but if you start, you won’t be able to stop, because it’s going to drag you in and demand you stay until the very end, and it won’t let you go. I definitely suggest reading the crossover series with Visionary, and of course the extra insight novels – Ryder and Daniel – for more insight into the characters. But these three are the main core of the series so far, and you won’t be disappointed. The characters are intense, intricate, and realistic without falling prey to Mary-Sue tendencies, and the scenarios that play out make you desperate to know what happens next. If you are looking for a series that can be fun and adult at the same time, don’t hesitate to pick this up.

This box set is fabulous! This whole series has all the feels and is a roller coaster of emotion. In this set you have Dark Wish, Tainted Rose and Poisonous Dream. It is awesome reading the first 3 in one set, they flow so well together that if it wasn't for the book breaks telling you where each starts you would think you are reading one huge book. I love Mako and her Star Knights. Her and her spirits are so strong, selfless, loving and have been through so much to get where they are now. I can't wait to see where they are now. I can't wait to see what happens next in Forgotten Fairytale, also read Ryder and Daniel, those books explain some of the Knights backstories and will keep you busy until the next book!

I read all three books of this box set individually so this is all I’m going to say about these books and that is each one just gets better and better. Each one pulls you in and holds you hostage until you get to the end of each book.
Makoto’s story just pulls you in and leaves you wanting more at the end of each book.
Anyway if you haven’t ever read any of Yumoyori Wilson’s books before then I highly suggest that you do because I think she’s a very talented story weaver.
