Story based in Sudan 1884, King's Royal Rifle Corps Mardis Rebellion
Prologue :- Opens in London February 1884 after the disaster in the Sudan. Prime Minster Gladstone is forced under pressure from Lord Wolseley and secretary of War Lord Harrington, to send British troops into the Sudan. Thus Gladstone decides to send General Gordon to Khartoum to evacuate the Sudan of foreign nationals. While a British force is ordered to the Sudan from Cairo.
Chapter 1 :- Opens at the British army headquarters in Cairo February 1884. A captain of a rifle company from the King's Royal Rifle corps named Jach Sarnders is watching other troops go through drill. While a Calvary lieutenant of the nineteenth Hussars crosses the parade ground with a telegram from London in his hand. The lieutenant by the name David Jackson heads towards General Fredrick Stephenson's office the commander. Stephenson is in his office with Major General Gerald Graham the commander to be of the force going into Sudan. Jackson enters the office and hands the telegram over to Stephenson, who in turn reads it and along with Graham decides what troops to send into the Sudan. Jach along with Jackson are informed that they were being sent to Suakin were the Marines had landed. There they would hold the town at all cost. In turn Jach informs his company to get ready to embark for the Sudan.
