Some really amazing records and feats of this year. However its not accurate on some of its records but it still doesn't take away how much interesting feats are in this book. Overall very nice book that almost feels like a tradition reading.

The Guinness World Records 2019 has many cool records, such as fastest circumnavigation by bicycle by a female, or The Largest Rubber-Band Ball. This book has over 250 pages of records and facts. In fact it took me two months to get through all of them. I recommend reading this book for anyone who wants to see some of the coolest records of 2019.

Lots of historical moments. For me, if I didn't catch it on the news, didn't matter. Read about it. Loved the (SMALL 2 PARAGRAPHS) on North Korea. The picture and article is true history and the TRUE picture of the Father of current Leader Kim Jong Un. I'm very impressed with his leadership. Specifically regarding his meeting with President of the United States, Donald Trump. Listening to Kim Jong Un speak in live video, clarified how intelligent of a leader he has become since/from his youth. Definitely an honored leader. Extremely educated and fully respected. Unlike Donald Trump, who spoke like he was at a bar, on a prison block. However, he is the only President in the history of the United States other than Eisenhower to meet with North Korea without conflict. So no judgment on Trump, who in the past few days of this February 2020 month and year was acquitted from impeachment.

Lots of the records in this book are really fun and interesting, some of them actually confused me on how the people did these stunts, such as eating a whole 1 inch pizza in 21 seconds. These types of books always interest me because I'm into stuff like biggest or smallest object in the world, or fastest time, etc. Overall, I really liked this book and I'm bummed I have to give it back to the library.

Guinness World Records 2019 (Hardcover)
Fascinating, sometimes inspirational, often weird, and occasionally ghastly!

Longest fingernails and ear hair, really!?! (p80-81, etc)
Most children delivered in a single birth to survive: 8, Eight!! (p91)
TV actors paid more than film actors! (p190)
First woman to play the Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. (p190)

The book is pretty good. There are many world records that I didn’t know existed that I knew from here like the biggest yo-yo, or the largest Rube Goldberg. I also liked the standalone sections for a few things like the LEGO section where they talk about some of the big builds that were made like the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars.

Interesting and motivated book to get motivation to get a world records. I really liked the tips to records you can beat on the last pages in books, like making a origami or paper bombs. And beating a world record should not be easy, so it is not really unreachable records.

As usual, this book was about insane almost impossible records to beat. Did you know that #love was the most widely used hashtag on Instagram?
