Цапаше се, когато се храни. Цапаше и когато рисува. И разбира се, най-вече имаше много разхвърляна стая.
Но един ден се налага да свърши нещо, което досега не ? се беше налагало… да подреди нещата си!

Absolutely fantastic children's book! My younger siblings were entertained, and the book taught a lesson. Instead of blaming anybody else for losing her necklace, Vivienne, the messy little piggy, realized that she had to clean her room, and she did it all by herself.
Super cute and engaging for the kiddos! The only thing I didn't like was that it used her name (Vivienne) a LOT. Really it's adorable and the kids like it a lot.
This had very cute illustrations. I did like the overall message but just felt it could be executed a bit better. I know it’s geared towards young ones but I feel with the messy message and the necklace in the jewelry box it’s more of a mindfulness message rather than messy Betsy.
Still a good read and worthwhile if this is something your little ones struggle with
★★★★The Messy One by Christianne Jones This was a cute story about a little girl pig, who makes a mess everywhere she goes. She doesn't care that her room is a wreck, or her clothes are wrinkled. She is even a messy eater. But when her favorite necklace comes up missing, it's time to take action. Once she finds it she keeps it safe in her jewelry box.

Grades Pre-K to 2. Viviene the pig is one messy pig-- and PROUD of it, until one day she can't find her very special necklace. Then, helmet on head, she begins the inevitable task of cleaning her room. Nothing can stop her now! Nice big, bright pages for sharing.
I liked this book, but I definitely didn't love it. However, I do think it's one that many kids will connect with. Most children struggle with a messy room at some point.
This book would be a good read aloud to younger elementary students, especially kindergarten.
Vivienne is a very messy little pig. One day her room becomes so messy that she can't find her favorite necklace. She decides to pull together and clean her room, not giving up even when things get hard.
The lesson in this book is an interesting one. It shows that messiness, or other negatively perceived traits, don't make you a bad person. The main character doesn't overcome her messiness completely. By the end of the book she has made a step towards being a cleaner person, but she's still working on that. It would be a fun book to read to kids as well due to the colorful images and the placement of the words.
I really enjoyed the illustrations. They were so colorful and I loved the color palette. The pig's necklace was adorable and I liked the details of the last illustration where it shows another necklace she had made. They go great with the story and I like how there's not a lot of text all over the pages. Quick read I feel like.
SPOILERS AHEAD:
The story is about the pig being messy and then losing her special necklace. She can't find it anywhere in the house, but she hasn't checked her room yet (because it's messy). She decides to finally clean her room and overcomes some obstacles. With lots of determination and perseverance, she cleans her room and finds her necklace exactly where it should be stored. Now she is still a messy pig, but she keeps her room clean.

Genre: Modern Fantasy Grade Level: PreK-1st I enjoyed this book. This book is great for talking about the importance of being tidy and taking care of belongings. This would be a great book to read if you have a group of messy students! I like that this books shows the emotions of those around the messy main character who are also effected by her messiness. It also shows the effects that being messy has on someone. You could start a conversation about how being organized and clean saves the students time and it is easier to find and take care of their belongings. You can also talk about how it makes you, the teacher, feel when students make a mess out of the classroom and communal materials. This is a life skill that will carry into their life at home and in their future classrooms. Their next teachers will thank you!
my only wish... is that the book would take up the whole kindle screen. but it is only in the middle part. love the illustrations. so pretty. very colorful and fun. i would recommend getting the real book instead of the kindle.
I appreciated this book. A ittle pig has a very messy room which she never cleans. But one day she loses her favorite necklace, so she knows what she has to do. I like the lesson of cleanliness in one's own space here.
Genre: modern fantasy, grades K-1 If I were to analyze myself, I would probably say that my biggest character flaw is my lack of tidiness. Ever since I was little, I have had trouble being neat. I like how this book doesn't make the main character seem like a bad person because she is messy, but it does encourage her to improve her bad habits. I think that this could be a good book for students whose desks are spilling all over the floor. Trust me, I was one of them!
This book was so cute! It talks about a messy kid who loses everything! I definitely relate to this! As a kid I was so messy, and I couldn't keep track of any of my belongings! I think that this is a good story for kids to hear, because it can be so helpful to keep things tidy! I have changed a lot since I was a messy kid, but it's still hard sometimes to keep things tidy. Vivienne in the story is such a relatable character, and she is so funny. I loved this book!
