From that first time Abel saw her there was no doubt in his mind that she would be his. This sweet little virgin was stuck in a storm, soaking wet and cold, and no one but him for miles.
With the storm raging outside his cabin and both of them trapped inside, he didn’t know how much self-control he could have around her. It was that moment when he first saw her that he knew he couldn’t let her go, that Shea was meant to be his in all ways. He just had to convince her to stay, that living off-grid with a caveman was exactly where she was supposed to be.
Shea should have been afraid of the stranger who showed up at the exact time she needed help. He was big and muscular with a mountain man vibe going on. The way he looked at her had her body heating in ways she’d never experienced before.
When she found herself back at his cabin in the middle of the woods maybe she should have been frightened. But the truth was Shea had never felt more at home, like she was in the right place, with the right person.
She was a virgin but she knew one thing for certain … She wouldn’t be innocent for much longer.
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
This one was alright. It didn't blow me away, but there wasn't anything wrong with it either. Zero angst. Zero OW/OM drama. Celibate hero. Virgin heroine. Surprisingly low in the sexy times. Sweet epilogue. I enjoyed it enough that I will give the second book a try.
If you are looking for a light, feel good read with some heat, then definitely give this a try!It was a perfect read for a quick escape over the holidays!
Low angst, steamy and safe. No drama outside the relationship.
-no cheating -no ow/om drama -no violence of any nature -instalove - pushing away by the hero - I wanted to throw something at him when he just walked away from her. Zero fight from him at all! -good epilogue 10 years in the future
Me parece exagerado. Así que aún más exagerado me parece que Shea quisiese eso. Pero venga dejando eso a un lado la historia está bien. Por una vez, ambos son prudentes con ese repentino y reciente amor así que aunque es instalove es un poco racional...
Firstly, I have to say, I can't imagine living like Abel and Shea. Yeah, I'm spoiled with hot water, electricity and other comforts, and I would miss my kindle, and there would be no trigger happy thumb to oneclick ebooks. Lol. But each their own. And the way Abel and Shea are living makes them happy, and that's what important. And about the story itself... It was warm, sexy and beautiful. I never can't find the right words for this type of storylines. I go with its easy and light, which somehow sounds like the story is less, when all I mean is it's just drama free and you just can relax and enjoy.
Abel is a gruff mountain man who has chosen to live his life away from civilisation. Living alone in his cabin quite happily that is until Shea ends up on his doorstep during a storm. He is instantly attracted to her and is soon faced with the dilemma of how he wants her to stay and would she live on a mountain away from the world?
Shea wants to escape her life for a while and change her luck, but luck isn’t on her side when she’s caught in a storm with no mobile service she finds herself standing on the doorstep of a gruff, handsome mountain man all of a sudden she finds that she’s not so lost but she’s found where she belongs but will Abel want her to stay?
Fast read with a cute epilogue. Always love having an epilogue! These two authors books never disappoint great team.
"The Caveman's Virgin" is the story of Shea and Abel. Basically, -Our H is a caveman who has left civilization to settle in the woods -Our h is a working woman, exhausted and longing for solitude -A car breakdown which leaves the h stranded with the H in the cabin during the storm -Intense attraction -Slow insertion of hotdog in the bun -Eventual mini hotdogs? (I didnt think the metaphor through..) Short, sweet with mild drama. Loved the cover. The story was OK. Safe 2.5/5
Shea is stranded in a storm and ends up on Abel’s doorstep. They have an instant attraction but don’t instantly act on it. I enjoyed the build up. Abel and Shea were so cute! Abel was a bit gruff and blunt mountain man and Shea was a sweet innocent who felt more at peace stranded in Abel’s cabin than in her normal life. This was a nice start I’d be interested in reading more Cavemen books lol
I really, really loved this story!! Abel was a loner and needed someone who would be comfortable in the middle of nowhere. Shea gets caught in a storm and ends up staying with Abel while the storm rages on. I honestly loved the fact that even though they both wanted it, the sex didn't happen right away. I can't say much more but I was happy with this story and as always, I love the epilogues at the end of the main story!! Jenika and Sam together are awesome!!!
Shea and Abel are find peace, solace, and love in the remote stretches of the woods. Shea was just hoping to find some well needed respite on her vacation in the woods. But of course as luck would have it she finds herself stranded with spotty cell service and a storm moving in. When she happens on a cabin in woods her luck takes a turn for the better when kind but solitary recluse Abel answers the door. Abel escaped the rat race of hectic civilization and hasn’t looked back since he built his cabin in the woods. He lives off the land and enjoys his solitude. He never knew something was missing until a wet and lost angel appeared on his doorstep. The moment he sees Shea he instantly knows he wants to make her his. But keeping her on his mountain may just be a pipedream.

I have a weakness for grumpy H's, so right off the bat, I really liked Abel. A solitary individual, living contentedly in the middle of nowhere, he finds a kindred soul in Shea who's car breaks down and stumbles upon his cabin. There is an almost immediate connection, and for once it is NOT overwhelmingly sexual. Don't get me wrong, the tension is there, but it doesn't overwhelm the actual relationship that develops. Shea sees in Abel someone who is living the life she is seeking. Abel sees in Shea someone who understands and accepts him as he is. I really enjoyed the story as the focus was relationship and there weren't any external distractions. It allowed a more organic feel to it, and made for a more satisfying read than a lot of the insta-love novellas available.
**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.**
This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I devoured this story in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. The writing style is easy to follow, the characters are likeable and the storyline is sweet. I liked this story. I liked that Shea wasn’t a people person. I liked that she wanted to get away. I really liked how she and Abel met. Although Abel wasn’t a people person, he did want to meet a woman and have children. He opened up his home and let Shea stay when she was stranded in a storm and was in need of a safe place. I did see some chemistry between them but I would have liked a little more. Because both Abel and Shea avoided admitting their attraction/ wanting Shea to stay, I didn’t feel like we got enough of them in a relationship. I did like that they didn’t rush into things but I wanted to shout at them both to admit that they wanted one another. I wanted to shout at Abel to admit to Shea that he wanted her to stay before he lost her. I did love that it was Shea that made her mind up, went after what she wanted and admitted her feelings to Abel. I really liked the six month and ten years later parts of this story. I liked seeing Shea and Abel as parents and their love for one another stronger than ever. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read.
Sometimes the "joys" of normal society makes you want to pack up and move away to parts unknown. The judging, the snubbing, the outright snobbery, some people don't see it as harmful while others feed off of others misery. Well Able had enough of normal society and moved to one place where he was his only company.
Shea's had a pretty rough life a sense of detachment from her mother that honestly, she didn't miss and with a mountain of bills she's just now almost done with after scraping pennies in a going nowhere job. She's alone but not as much alone as she'd like, she had a goal and was working toward that goal.
there's a saying ~you can't miss what you don't have~ Able didn't miss female company he was set living off the land and making it work for him, he was content. Up until that rainstorm.
so a cool flow of personalities and story in this book that is just the right length and balanced with detail, personality, situation and hot scenes. You never know what fate will bring you, but I bet it will be just what you need even if you don't know it.
I really wanted to love this book. One of these two authors was recommended to me because I’m a fan of an author who writes similar books. This was my first book by either of these authors and I struggled to get through the first few pages. The authors use the word, “but” excessively (7 times on page 2 alone). This happened BUT then that happened....then this was going well BUT that got messed up. Eventually it got so distracting I stopped reading and started counting the repetitive words. Additionally, the first page had a sentence that didn’t make any sense (first sentence in the second paragraph). With two authors I would think they would catch these things, especially in the first few pages. I eventually went back to reading and finished the book because I wanted to leave a fair review. I liked the story enough to give it two stars but I think the writing could use improvement and/or better editing.
Shea wants some peace and quite.. with the drama of her mother she plans to spend the weekend away in a cabin, but things turn out worse for her once her car breaks down leaving her stranded in the rain. Tugging through the woods she spots a lone cabin risking serial killers and wild animals she knocks only to be greated by a tough rough man name Abel.
Abel has been living off the grid for ages he rather deal with wild life and storms then people only thing he wants is a woman to share his life with.
Things are akaward between the two at first but after the tension grows Abel is fighting himself pushing her away knowing she wont want this life and maybe not him. But Shea wants something so she pushes back.
Can these two make it work?
Instalove/lust Growly charming stubborn celibate male Sweet stubborn tough as nails virgin gal No cheating No drama Slight push/pull No om/ow Anal play Sex Hea Epilogue
Super sexy and cute read. A mountain man named Abel was all about the lost lady named Shea. Abel immediately knew when he came across Shea who was stranded and lost in the mountains, she was the woman for him. Shea wanted the peace that living in mountains provided but she was unprepared for the weather conditions to strike and this is how she met Abel. Their connection, their chemistry is amazing. I loved the insta love vibe this story gives along with the sizzling heat; the story flows and the characters are fresh and exciting. The ending was awesome and the epilogue really added that pop to the story.
My Rating: 4.6 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
Shea had a lot on her plate and just wanted to get away. While she is driving to her "escape" her car breaks down and gets stranded in the mountains. While searching for help it, she wonders too far into the mountains and sees a cabin.
Abel loves his solitude and living on the mountain. When he sees Shea at his door, he knew that she was for him. He did everything he could to make sure it would be her choice to stay up on the mountain with him.
When they get together it is amazing. Great story.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The Caveman's Virgin (Cavemen, 1) by Jenika Snow is a New Adult, Contemporary, Erotic Romance. From that first time Abel saw her there was no doubt in his mind that she would be his. Shea should have been afraid of the stranger who showed up at the exact time she needed help. Maybe she should have been frightened but the truth was she felt more at home at his cabin in the middle of the woods. Another enjoyable, steamy read by the author. Good storyline and sexy characters.
❤️🌼🔥ALPHA CAVEMAN AND HIS SOUL MATE❤️🌼🔥 Abel and Shea are kindred souls, and fate has brought them together...Abel recognizes his second half immediately...Shea is drawn to this “caveman,” and the sex is SMOKIN’ HOT!!! This was such a sweet romantic story. I would of preferred to have known how Abel freaked out when her water broke. I think that would of given it a bit of comedy. This big brute of a man living off grid handling everything Mother Nature can throw at him but here comes his wife Shea water breaking and he has no clue what to do. Although that didn’t happen it would have been hilarious. It was cute sweet sexy.
This big brawny mountain man likes his solitude but as soon as he sees Shea, he's hit with a severe case of extra-instant Insta-love--but it works. Shea and Abel are good matches--he's self-sufficient and she is very independent, hating asking for help is what takes her to Abel's cabin door. The way the Abel is described, it was like I could almost see him. This is a fun, sexy romance that can be read in an hour or two.
This is an entertaining book. The author brings strong characters and moves the story quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed watching Abel and Shea's relationship evolve as well as their hot chemistry together. Good read.

She was at his cabin and she should feel scared but she was not. He knew as soon as he was her he knew she would be his. She was him in a different light and she wanted him to be her first. How will it go? Will she stay with him? See if she will
