It's been a while since Elle Brown has been in a relationship, and though she misses her former lover, she is ready to give dating another try. Her best friend creates a profile for her on a new dating website called Masquerade Dot Com and then the icon for the same website mysteriously appears on her work-assigned laptop computer. Once she ventures in, life becomes both strange and chaotic. Her co-workers begin to die in unusual accidents. Elle starts to suspect that there is a link between their deaths and their employer. Curious and determined to make the connection, the more she digs, the more puzzling it becomes. When she realizes that some of her closest friends are also involved, the race is on to find the answers and notify the authorities. Her biggest fear, however, is that more will die before she uncovers the truth.
