Unique, charming, and smartly written, this modern/ancient fantasy is filled with heart and wisdom. The Biblical Scapegoat story, a haunting tale of unearned moral burden is turned on its head, featuring talking, or rather, telepathic goats, who are able to communicate with a small group of human allies.
The outcast goats meet up in Montana and organize, determined to bring balance to a world in need of clarity. This will lead the reader to laugh in turn while consider with the role of sacrifice vs. redemption.
