Mediocre
Protecting Her and First Time With The Major are the first two books of seven. Not that they are bad, just nothing to scream amazing. Proofreading was horrible. Too often it caused disruption to the flow. Her instead of He. Having to re-read what someone is saying because it's unclear who's saying what. These two start slow and then the ending seemed to be rushed. Plenty of intimacy scenes, but where implied the strong alpha likes dominating, the scenes are vanilla. Needs work. I didn't read the other five for worry they will be like these. May get better, see for yourself.

Protecting Her
Jordan and Veronica have been together since college. They each had a different dream but it ended the same to make their future better.
Jordan joins the army and heads off to war. Veronica becomes a journalist and reporter. The day Jordan comes home for good she is off to the hell hole he just came home from. Now he has to save her or she might die.
The characters were fun to read about and it was nice seeing these two grow together and learn to compromise. It's takes a little heat to get these two to see reason.
First Time with The Major
Molly has finished college and moved with her friend back home to run a cafe.
Robert is in the AF stationed in the same town. He is a bit older then Molly but what he sees he wants. Can he make Molly trust him?
Molly was great to read about and the way things happened with the older man younger lady situation was tastefully written.
Falling For The Seal
Shane and Annabel Lee were high school sweethearts. Shane leaves on the bus and stays away for a long time.
When he comes back to town after his mother dies he has to see the vet. Little does Annabel know that Shane is back in town.
These two acted as if nothing ever changed since they last saw each other. It was a bit off since Annabel was so upset as to what made him leave.
Rescue Me
Blaine meets Josie at a bar after a bachelorette party. They have a one night stand but Blaine has fallen for Blaine and vice versa. But can he keep her safe when all hell breaks loose?
Not a bad read and the characters were well done and plot great.

Adriana has run out of money while backpacking through Europe and is working as a stripper.
Milos and Adraiana have a one night stand and then he asks her to be a wife for him for a year. What will happen when they both don't want to let go?
Great characters you want to read about and keep the pages turning.

Tiffany has just divorced her husband due to a medical condition. She sees her ex's brother Jason. He has always been in love with his brothers wife and now that they are divorced he can make his move. How will things go down with a surprise?
Not a bad story but not one of my favorites in the set. The writing was ok with these characters.

Alessio has killed Beth's fiancé Michael. Now he wants her to not testify. Now they have a few nights in bed what will happen as she falls for the man that killed Michael?
Characters were developed well and were fun to read about. A lot of passion in this story.
Over all a great set to read and get lost into.

Protecting Her: A Romance Bundle 2nd July 2018
What a wonderful bundle from Mia Ford!! Mia continuously writes fantastic books,but out of this bundle, I have only read two, back in 2017 (which I have included the reviews that I left at the time),until today, when I finished Protecting Her.
I did receive only Protecting Her as an advance copy of which I am privileged.Here is my honest review..
Protecting Her is not like the other books Mia writes, yes there are a page or two that describes their love and sexual activities .In all honestly, that was enough for this book. Protecting Her had more to it than that, which was greatly appreciated and this had the most organised,full and exciting plot that I have ever read from Mia. It engaged me right from the very beginning until the very end, then I didn't want it to end.
The main characters Jordan and Veronica were on fire:) together, her best friend Rachael who all meet in high school, then all went on to collage.
It is written in dual perspective which I find the best, as you are able to see into the characters. I won't spoil anything here but.. when you read this you feel like you are there, you fall into the story,another world, also it is like a story you would find/hear on the news!
If you want to find out the rest go grab your copy today, even though I did receive this as an advance copy, I am going to purchase the bundle and read other three books.
Mia you have outdone yourself with Protecting Her and it is truly my favourite, I highly recommend you read this you will not be disappointed. I give this 5*+

Fantastic book great read could not put it down.The whole story had you feeling that you were there.
Milos a prince and soon to be king needs a wife to carry on the kingdom his father has passed away.Feeling the need to fulfil his fathers wishes he heads over to another country to look for a wife where he enters a club and while he's there a dancer comes on stage Adriana beautiful and sexy .they have troubles ups and downs .do they find their HEA ??? I voluntary read this book as an ARC for my true and honest review.

GET READY to read some WONDERFULLY romantic stories! This collection is worth four times the price of the seven full-length, standalone novels within it! They are all good, but the first novel is previously unpublished, so I will focus my review on it.
A ROMANTIC and yet thought-provoking full-length novel that will knock your socks off! MUST-READ!
“PROTECTING HER” by Mia Ford is an incredibly relevant and emotive contemporary, romantic journey. It is the story of Veronica and Jordan, starting from young adulthood and the quixotic story of falling in love through the pains of growth and demanding careers and a near ending that brings them to the realization that what they have, what they are to each other is too priceless to risk. Although Jordan and Veronica knew each other in high school, they only take the time to really see each other at a beginning of the term party on the eve of starting their freshman year of college. What Jordan sees, is an incredible woman whose outside beauty is surpassed only by her compassion and generous spirit. What Jordan gives Veronica is the strength to become the woman she has always wanted to be . . . and that is in the first third of the book. I have never crawled inside of a book as quickly as I did this one. Jordan and Veronica are epic characters, richly human and so well-developed I know I would like to meet them! The complex plot took this reader through some really intricate emotions (I laughed, I cried, and I shouted for joy –and everything in-between!) and it made me rethink my opinions. Needless to say, author Mia Ford went deep and aimed high on this one, and despite the grammatical inconsistencies, she exposes truths in the “simple telling of a story” that may have readers thinking about and talking about this novel for a long time. Just when I thought it was too saccharine to believe, it got REAL! And the tension and circumstances of that reality were as real as last evening’s news. So, readers, strap on your safety belts, get the coffee, fan, and tissues handy and prepare. I COULD NOT PUT “PROTECTING HER” DOWN until I finished the very last word! Missed an outing with the girls to finish this one, and then had to call them all and tell them why. So, if you want a copy of “PROTECTING HER” by Mia Ford, purchase your copy today! It is a spectacular romance, and SO MUCH MORE! This is a wonderful journey that Veronica and Jordan take from high school on... Veronica starts college with a new fresh take on life and ends up crossing paths with Jordan from high school and they actually start a great friendship. Jordan can not believe he never gave Veronica a chance in high school and feels more for her then he thought possible. This is one special relationship that develops into a beautiful romance that takes them through college into everyday life. Jordan makes a decision to join the Army to make sure he can provide for them and ends up being sent to Afghanistan. Veronica is home building her life as a reporter. When Jordan returns he realizes he wants to make changes to stay near Veronica but never gets the chance as Veronica makes a decision to go to Afghanistan to report on the war. Things are not left very well between them and it feels as though life and tough decisions may split this special love apart. While Veronica is away Jordan keeps tabs on her to make sure she is safe and on that fateful day he learns she is not all beats are off. Jordan does what is necessary to get to Veronica before she is killed aftern being taken prisoner for 10 days. Will Jordan be able to save Veronica before it’s to late and can Veronica hang on long enough to survive what being captive has done to her body? Both Jordan and Veronica will need to figure out what they want to move forward and if they can reconnect, forgive and move forward. Can they have a family and a boring life together after all their hardship? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

GEAR UP, READY TO MOVE OUT!!!
My birthday is right around the corner and guess what I'm getting me? No men are not for sale. Well, maybe some are, but not these hotties. Dang, I need my fix these are some seriously kick*ss, action packed, fast paced, suspense filled, danger nipping at their heels and the loves of their lives hang in the balance. What do you think a couple of guys can do against an army? You can never go wrong when you're placing your money on Mia. She has a talent for taking us from our mundane lives straight into battle. It has all the danger, suspense, nailbiting, nerve racking, page turning, brilliantly written read thats just the right fix to take you away for a while. You know it has great characters thats intriguing, complex and realistic. Personalities blend and enemies are right on top trying to take you out. Their personalities flourish under this threat and strength is at an all time high. Grab your s**t stomping boots, all the hardware and ammo you can carry. These bad boys have come to play and you're in their backyard. I love the way Mia starts with a strong plot, a smooth flowing storyline that will definitely bring you all the action you'll ever need. Fantastic job Mia, thanks for sharing this remarkable read with us.

Veronica is ready for a fresh start at college and no more being picked on because of her red hair. However what she didn't count on was for Jordan a popular guy from high school being at the same college and running into him. Jordan was happy to see a familiar face that he just couldn't believe it was Veronica. After the first party they were inseparable and soon became more than friends. Making plans for their future Jordan joins the military but he doesn't start until after they have graduated college. Veronica is worried when he first tells her but is hopeful they can survive the distance. But when he comes back from being overseas and learns she is getting ready to go Jordan is dead set against it. Will this be what splits them up?
This is an amazing story once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Jordan and Veronica is explosively hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any of my book friends.

I’m struggling to see how this story is getting 4 and 5 star reviews!!
Full disclosure: I’m maybe halfway through the book, but I’m not sure I can get past Veronica and Jordan arguing about her going to Afghanistan. She’s not being setup as the type of reporter that covers war zones or high conflict stories. For effs sake, right before she tells Jordan she’s going he is watching her do a story on a bakery that set a world record!! Plus she’s acting as if Afghanistan is Paris. For a reporter/journalist she’s pretty damn ignorant of what the love of her life has been through for the past months (???) and her getting pissed about him not wanting her to go is off putting.
Also, I’m struggling with the fact that this is supposed to take place somewhere in America but all the writing sounds like either Canada or England. Not a huge problem.... just a complaint.
Another small complaint; a 1 year old is not going to be laid in a baby basket while mommy and daddy have a romantic dinner

This review is for "Protecting Her". Jordan and Veronica new eachother in high school but it wasn't until college that they really connected. They start off as friends but soon find themselves in a romantic relationship. Jordan enters the Army and is shipped off to Afghanistan. When he returns he decides to stay stateside to be near Veronica but her job as a reporter ends up sending her to Afghanistan. Her and Jordan fight about it and he refuses to support her. But when her team is killed and Veronica is captured will Jordan be able to save her?
This was a great read, well written with interesting and well developed characters. The story was fast paced with action, suspense, danger and love.

If you like your stories hot and steamy with a bit of kink, then this box set is the winner for you. It is an amazing read. All stories are steamy and has sexy men in them. The characters are strong, well described and develops nicely.
This box set takes you through a lot of emotions and the twists makes them worth the read.
My favourite was PROTECTING HER by Mia Ford. It is about two characters that seems to have the time against them. They always try to connect when one of them has to leave. Taking chances to succeed with their second chance. Fate throws a lot at this couple but it is worth it to follow them on their journey toward their HEA.
I can only say read it because it is a must have.

This was such an emotional story! Mia Ford certainly put my heart to the test with this one. Veronica and Jordan are college sweethearts that then go out to the world while trying to keep their relationship together. They soon learn that growing up causes some pains. These two go through separations, war, kidnappings, and so much more to learn how much they truly love each other. A gutwrenching but heartwarming story that I loved. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

These two have a sweet romance and are determined to make it last. With his career choice, there’s a few bumps along the way, but when her job sends her away for a while, they start to crumble. Thank goodness he saves the day, literally. They finally get their HEA and it’s better than they ever expected!

Mia Ford has outdone herself again with this wonderful romance story between Jordan and Veronica. This is a love affair that started in college between the two, where Jordan always stated that he would protect Veronica no matter what. Veronica always knew she wanted to be a journalist and English major in college. Where Jordan was not sure what he wanted to do until he met a military recruiter and want to join the Army. This story is packed with romance, conflict and the protection of his woman.

Protecting Her is one fantastic box set of 7 stories by the incredible author Mia Ford. These are some really great stories that hook you from the start, there are some great twist and turns that keep you intrigued and wanting more. The characters are strong alpha males and the incredibly strong And beautiful women they fall for. I absolutely recommend this great box set. Each story will draw you in with there own unique tale. Protecting Her - What a great story about an incredible couple. Veronica and Jordan’s story is about how when you find the perfect one, you just know, and what happens when that bond is shaken? What lengths would you go through to prove your forever love? Their journey was so real and touching! I laughed out loud, held my breath and cried. I am always a fan of Ms. Ford’s stories and this one is no exception. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.

Waste of time
I would never recommend this author to anyone. The stories are absolutely a waste of time reading. I don't know why this author thinks she can write. Each story line got worse...almost like she had a deadline to finish them. Each story had repetitive sex scenes and it seemed like she was trying to fill the book with because all the rest was boring. I think she needs a creative writing course. I will never read any of her other books are.

This is an amazing boxset from Mia. Each book is fantastic. I have them all individually but I had to get this boxset because of Protecting Her. That book is freaking good. I absolutely loved it. I definitely recommend this set if you are a fan of Mia's.

Good bundles of books by Mia Ford, but quite uneven. Some stories are hectic, and others rather predictable and simple. However, it’s a good set to relax, with a good price.
